The orange and cranberry kale salad was so delicious! There is an option to add more protein to the salad with a small cost and I opted for blackened salmon. While the salmon was flavourful, it was a little too cooked for my liking. It was probably fully cooked because it wasn't sashimi grade, but then again how can I expect it to be sashimi grade when it's so cheap! All in the all, I was quite pleased with the meal and I will definitely be back to try out more dishes!

Yelpers weren't kidding about this cafe being nestled in a mega-church -- it's in the worship center of a Google campus-esque church. The built environment is beautiful, and the cafe has everything a person could want, whether for meeting up with friends or working for long hours.

Great food for your body and soul. Heart warming coffee as well. It is like your own personal fireplace on a chilly morning.

Decent Cafe, but AVOID the soda machine. I think something is mixing incorrectly. I'd go the bottled soda rout instead.

Yes this is my church, yes I go there regularly, but I could eat anywhere and tend to think of the Global Cafe as a great meal option.

When I arrived, parking was a bit busy but I found a spot. I walked instead to smiling faces. They gave a few recommendations and I chose the pistachio cream latte. They let me know that the croissants were made in house so of course I had to get one as well! I picked the spinach kale croissant. If it has greens it's healthy right? I explored the decor while I waited. It's a cute little place with some seating. Once they called my name, I excitedly hurried over to try my drink and croissant. The verdict? AMAZING! All of it. I could go back tomorrow and be just as impressed.

I'm a sucker for creamy, cloud-like textures, so naturally I ordered the Einspänner. The coffee part was strong and delicious, while the thick, velvety hazelnut cream top was such a decadent treat. Of course I had to take a few sips of the hazelnut cream top before mixing it into the coffee. I'd highly recommend it if you've never had an Einspänner. I'm looking forward to trying the pistachio cream latte, biscoff cookie butter latte, or corn latte next time!

I loved the large painting on the wall depicting the rugged old west with a cow boy having a cup of coffee by the fire in the mountains. They have Different types of seating arrangements. The interior is modern with a comfortable lighting scene and wrap around floor to ceiling windows. They also have a large patio with more seating. I also noticed a fire place and a Television outside. Aside from their great coffee and Tea menu, they offer daily pastries, refreshments, small bites and coffee bean bags to go. I had the Horchata Latté with oat milk (available hot or cold). It was really good. It is made with 2 shots of their signature espresso with a house-made horchata syrup or base, steamed or iced milk, and a dusting of cinnamon. You could taste the quality of the coffee. It was really good. The coffee was a little strong. The service was great and prices are average. I really enjoyed hanging out in their shop with friends. They have several locations. L&L is located in a huge industrial complex with tons of parking (not sure how it is during weekdays though when the other businesses are open). The coffee shop is HUGE with plenty of seating and from the looks of it- lots of regulars hanging out and enjoying their sip. Walk in and fall in line to select your coffee of choice. You can scan their QR code of items - just wish prices were posted too. L&L roasts their beans and after just one sip, you can taste the difference! I had a vanilla latte while hubby had their toffee latte. As it turns out they make their own toffee syrup which is amazing!!! They also have a great selection of foods- burritos, avo toast, quiche, a variety of bagels and a nice assortment of scones, muffins and croissants. We shared a chorizo burrito filled with potato, egg, cheese, chorizo then toasted. It came with 2 different sauces - and cool and creamy cilantro and a smokey mocajete. This too was delicious and we were so glad to have ordered this. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and very helpful. All good vibes here! Look forward to returning!!!

I love love love their matcha and actually get my at-home espresso beans here. They are perfectly roasted and the espresso comes out smooth. I also have had their avocado toast. It is so good but I never finish it haha because it is big. Totally worth to try. They have large tables which are perfect to host coworking sessions or just to come and work. I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte.
