2 einspanner's with oat milk and whole milk, yum!
    Sophia Y.

First time here & the einspanner did not disappoint, I really look forward to trying it again! Glad we stumbled by this small coffee shop tucked away in a lot across Boil & Bake. The baristas were awesome, interior was clean and uniquely furnished, bathroom was clean, parking was not bad. Would definitely come back here again to explore their menu and other flavors!

I dropped off my little one at a day camp close by. Went with my usual coffee order and opened up my laptop. Found myself at a small table for six, with 2 other people and an outlet on the wall behind me. I decided to stay much longer than anticipated, because the vibe was good, and orderd a croissant and another drink. Patty gave me great service and recommendations. She also remembered my name, so that is always a plus. Its the kind of place where you can spend a couple hours. They have a little library with a couple games too. I ended up here 5 days in a row!

This might be my newest favorite spot for a banana matcha because that banana cream top was just perfection. It was a bit sweet, but when combined with the matcha, it was just right. The space felt very open and minimal but still had some mid-century modern style furniture for you to hang out with some friends or get some work done. They also have some board games to play as well some shelves that display merch and coffee beans from Korea for sale! Honestly, you'd never know there was this coffee spot unless you look past the gas station and semi-dated plaza, but I definitely appreciate another nearby spot to add to my rotation for solid matcha drinks. Service was really quick and overall friendly. Space felt very clean and definitely would return to try their other drinks!

A colleague brought me a coconut macadamia latte from here one morning and I've been wanting to come back for my own experience. Today was that day! When I arrived, parking was a bit busy but I found a spot. I walked instead to smiling faces. They gave a few recommendations and I chose the pistachio cream latte. They let me know that the croissants were made in house so of course I had to get one as well! I picked the spinach kale croissant. If it has greens it's healthy right? I explored the decor while I waited. It's a cute little place with some seating. Once they called my name, I excitedly hurried over to try my drink and croissant. The verdict? AMAZING! All of it. I could go back tomorrow and be just as impressed.

Long Black Coffee sits near the eastern Costa Mesa / North Newport Beach border on Bristol, where there's a dearth of Asian coffee shops, so when this one opened up in the neighborhood, we had to go pay a visit! I'm a sucker for creamy, cloud-like textures, so naturally I ordered the Einspänner. The coffee part was strong and delicious, while the thick, velvety hazelnut cream top was such a decadent treat. Of course I had to take a few sips of the hazelnut cream top before mixing it into the coffee. I'd highly recommend it if you've never had an Einspänner. I'm looking forward to trying the pistachio cream latte, biscoff cookie butter latte, or corn latte next time!

Could have came here for work but I didn't bc it was Sabbath. I didn't see any tables where you can park and work for a few hours. You prolly could. But if you need coffee before flight, this is the place to get yo caffeine. It's right across from that nice hotel so it's quite convenient. The waifu was commenting on how nice the prices were. No need to make your own 'bucks drinks to save a few bucks. Also it's got a nice library so it's definitely vibing and welcoming atmosphere to just sit and chill before a busy flight schedule. The space is small but cozy and cute. They have some books and board games to spend the time here. Small parking lot thats shared with the gas station and other shops. Ordered the hot Orange Bourbon Cardamom latte; wow! Its not for the faint of heart because it does have a very particular taste. The taste of orange peels is strong and makes the coffee mildy bitter but the sweetness and oat milk balance it out perfectly. Its such a unique drink and soooo good!! The syrups are definitely homemade and make the drink so special. Service was quick, several staff members working in the back. Super friendly when they handed me my drink. Will be back!

I was in the area for an appointment and I love checking out new coffee shops and Long Black Coffee did not disappoint. There didn't seem to be much parking considering the other shops in the strip mall. However, I got some gas and stayed parked there while I ran in to get coffee. No outdoor seating but a few tables and comfy chairs inside to accommodate. I believe I also saw a few shelves full of board games. The gentleman welcomed me as soon as I walked in which I absolutely love. After a quick glance at the menu, I decided on the iced coconut macadamia latte. It was so delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness, full of flavor, and the coffee wasn't bitter at all. I will definitely return if I'm back in the area.

Iced einspanner. I love coffees topped with cream. It completes the look. Seating inside includes a big community table and a few smaller tables. Located on the corner of Bristol/Redhill next to the Arco gas station. I order on the app and pick up my drink. Rewards program! Baristas are friendly and it feels calm inside.

The staff here is super friendly and very good at their craft. You get the same service as all of their other locations. The new iced espresso orange bourbon cardamom is packed with a light cardamom flavor accompanied by orange bourbon cocktail like flavor. This is one of those sip in a glass cup drinks that you need to sit and enjoy in house. It's just classy and refreshing for summer. 5/5 stars Orange bourbon cardamom lattes is very similar to the iced espresso with not milk added. I prefer the balanced flavors in the iced espresso but if you need a larger version this is it! Summer drinks are on point for April! 4/5 stars Croffle with cream - crispy outside soft inside like a waffle should be. Sweet cream on top is perfectly sweet. It's a good light breakfast. 4/5 stars Jalepeno cheese Croffle with bacon green onion is packed with flavor from the Croffle to the cream topping. Fresh green onions with bacon is great combo. 5/5 stars

This coffee shop happened to be right across the hotel we were staying at and I'm glad I stopped by. Greeted with a friendly welcome and the service was great. I was happy to see that had stuff to eat because that's always a plus. A good pastry and coffee bomb! I ordered their strawberry cream cheese croissant and their biscoff cookie butter iced latte. My gosh they were both very yummy. The best part is that they were not extremely busy and I received my items fast. Place is also big enough to stay and enjoy it there if you want to.

Best einspanners in OC! I've had very many einspanners and many of them have sweetened foam or soft espresso. This one is a true einspanner! Ambiance is very nice in the costa Mesa location, good seating options and lots of people working.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.
