Two Flame Grilled Rib Eye steaks was our order. Overall I give the new ownership that has taken over Hannah's Restaurant a super solid five stars. Homemade quality and super friendly service is the best way to describe it. Well portioned, good quality and very flavorful. The wife and I both agreed it felt like going to a friendly aunts house and having a home cooked meal. I hope my fellow yelpers will come give this place a try. We had loved going to Hannah's in Highland for nearly 28 years. This was a family run restaurant, with great home-style meals. We decided to go there to eat, knowing that it had recently changed ownership. (It's been a while since we ate there.) We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The setup is classy and inviting. The food is delicious. There is great Persian/Mediterranean food on the menu; plus, there is Mexican, Italian, and American. There business tag is "A taste of the world." Addie, our hostess tonight, was pleasant and we enjoyed visiting. The presentation of the food is appealing art and the taste matches that. The service shines brightly amidst the overall experience. Walking in you notice how clean it is and what looks like some updated decor, the ambiance sets the stage for an enjoyable meal. Though seemed short staffed, the girl working the late shift was extremely friendly and sat me almost immediately. On business travel I searched prime rib in the area and this was the top hit with great reviews. Every other review raved about their prime rib. Unfortunately when I ordered the prime rib the girl informed me that they stopped serving and instead offered a Tbone which in her own words "was amazing". Against my better judgment I went ahead and ordered it. Unfortunately it fell short of expectations. Despite the promise of a succulent, tender cut, the reality disappoints. She brought me two thinly cut pieces of meat that were not t bine, she said they ran out but instead brought me what they had. The steak was a cheap cut that lacked the desired flavor profile, failing to deliver the anticipated quality one would hope for in a steakhouse. Nonetheless, the redeeming qualities were in the service. The prompt and courteous service adds a silver lining to the meal, while the restaurant's cleanliness and inviting atmosphere create a comfortable environment for guests. Although the the steak leaves much to be desired, the restaurant compensates with commendable service and a well-maintained space. With improvements in their food quality, this establishment has the potential to become a more well-rounded dining destination. Side thumb on this one. Finally decided to go to this place last Wednesday. We got there at about 730pm and found that we were the only ones there. First, let say that to compare in any way this establishment with the previous (Hannah's) would not be fair. The redecorated decor was light and appealing and to a point a bit on the classy side. Service was average as well as the food my wife and I had. My wife's Chicken Kabob plate had plenty of chicken and a nice taste. My Mix Koobideh Plate was ground beef (blah) and ground chicken (very tasty). Both were served with a small salad and either Basmati rice (ok) or fries. We ordered Mediterranean and the food was incredible. The pita is homemade and fluffy! Definitely special. The one thing that bothered me was that while I was waiting for my to-go order, the TV was blaring right-wing political propaganda from the news. I feel like places of business should choose carefully what the project to their customers. I got the impression that the owners, as nice and friendly and helpful as they are, agree with the vitriol presented by that news channel. I can decide who I give my money to, so I won't be returning to Hannah's. This is a very lovely place. We made reservations for10 people for a Friday evening and it was a wonderful experience, from the complmentary freshly toasted flat bread that found its way to us with in minutes of being seated, to the lovely caramel drizzled cheese cake for dessert and every thing in between. Wonderful menu with their mix of Mediterranean and classic American foods. We will be back and already consider it a hidden gem. read more

We had tried to eat at this restaurant just before it closed and missed it. When we found out it had reopened, we had to try. The food is pretty good. The pita bread brought out to the table is awesome with the hummus or butter. I had the ribeye with a baked potato, shrimp and veggies. The steak was a bit gristly and the potato over cooked but taste was ok. The shish kabob's are great,definitely try these. The restaurant is kept extremely clean and the servers are polite and nice. Visited the new Hannah's today and it was great. I ordered the chicken thigh kabob plate. The chicken thigh was cooked perfectly through, lean, but juicy, and well seasoned. It was accompanied by a generous serving of basmati rice, grilled vegetables, a small green salad, and warm pita bread and butter - everything was delicious. My husband had the Philly chicken cheesesteak sandwich, cooked to order, with French fries. He was very happy with his meal as well. The sandwich was large and he especially enjoyed the fries. The newly remodeled restaurant very comfortable, clean and open. Our server did her best to provide us with excellent service. They're also now open for breakfast, so we'll be returning to try that as well. If you're looking for a great non-chain restaurant that isn't a greasy spoon, Hannah's fits the bill.
