We had all of our possessions waiting for us in UBox storage, and had we been able to move in on Monday, rather than waiting until Friday for service that was never performed, we would not have incurred an additional month's rent for storage. During their work, additional issues arose in areas they handled, and in my experience the amount they initially offered to contribute toward repairs did not come close to covering the actual cost. This led to a lengthy back-and-forth over several months, and in the end my insurance company--not Advanced Restoration--covered the repair expenses related to those issues. I also had several concerns about professionalism while the crew was in my home. Despite multiple requests, some workers did not consistently wear shoe covers. I also heard profanity used inside my home, which made me uncomfortable. On one occasion, I observed two workers smoking in my driveway. These were not behaviors I expected from a company working in a residential environment. Overall, based on my own experience, I personally would not use this company again. I hope they take steps to improve communication, professionalism, and care for clients' homes in the future.

On the day of the job, Patrick showed up with his team. Patrick explained in details of the steps they would take to treat my garage. They first deep cleaned the floors by sweeping and power washing then add the mold treatments and finally power wash it down again. Once all the cleaning and treatments were done, they placed 3 fans to blow dry the garage. The next day, Patrick came back to fill in the cracks in between the slabs to prevent water/moisture from coming up. I had a great experience working with Patrick and his team. Surprisingly, they arrived on Sunday roughly an hour after I had filed my claim. The immediately went to work putting dehumidifiers and fans in place and cordoned off the area with tape and plastic liner. The following morning, I awoke to a huge pool of water that had spread to my kitchen. Apparently the water heater, which was full when the water was shut off, had finally given way overnight and had emptied the water through a good part of my downstairs. A crew came out later that day and started the mitigation process. Every interaction I had with Lawton was professional, super prompt, and especially courteous. I highly recommend!
