Usually everything is good. Last night it was horrible. Waiter was angry and annoyed by everything. My order was wrong and he basically told me I didn't order what I ordered. When my actual meal came out it was brought in pieces and still missing items. He growled when I asked for a refill of soda water, didn't want to be bothered with separate checks and made us tell him what we had again when we were trying to check out and our bills were still wrong & mixed up. Asking for a refill of Diet Coke also received a dirty look and obvious irritation. We will be pausing our monthly visits for a while. From the moment we walked in, the lack of enthusiasm from the staff was evident. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait, which felt like it was intended to discourage us from staying. Sadly, we waited. After over 20 minutes we asked the host how much longer the wait would be. He said he had just prepared our table then took us to one that had been empty and cleared since we walked in. We still had to ask for silverware later because there were none on that table. Our waitress took a significantly long time to come and was not friendly at all. She even swatted at my arm at one point to ask me what my drink order was again, and we had to ask for one of our drinks when she brought them incorrectly. After we ordered, we saw her twice more. After several other people brought our drinks and food, which was all overcooked and remained mostly uneaten, she came to see how we were doing. When asked for one refill, it took forever before someone else brought it. We had to ask for the bill and paid through their QR code there because we had no faith that she would return in a timely manner. Our first time. We came in September 8th exactly at 2PM. We were SO EXCITED to try this place out. I mean it's close to the house. It has happy hours, and it's outdoor seating! Which we love. Only thing that made this experience suck was the waitress. She was nice. But was pushy, and wasn't very friendly. It took atleast 10 min to get out drinks from the bar and it wasn't busy at all. COVID-19 review: The food: During COVID-19, we've been ordering the family cheeseburger meal for $40 (I think). It comes with 4 cheeseburgers - one for me, one for the hubs, one for our dog and an extra for our dog the next day and a large portion of fries. The burgers are well cooked and topped off with plenty of cheese (dog approved). The buns are freshly toasted and veggies appear fresh. I'm usually very stuffed after eating but I think the hubs would've preferred more. The fries are usually soggy when we get them but we're not big fries people. Online order and pick-up: online ordering is easy and it usually is ready in under an hour. Drive up, go to their take out section of the restaurant, pick up and be on your way. Easy peasy. If they included curbside pickup, I'd probably order even more frequently. Order online and delivery: online ordering is easy and straightforward. I would recommend that you include comments that you want contactless delivery because, sometimes, the delivery person from the third party delivery service used by Glory Days just waits at your door to hand you your food (no, thank you!). I can't whole heartedly give it a 4-5 star review. I will say that for pub style food. It is extraordinarily average, nothing earth shattering but I will commend them on their ability to remain consistent not with just this glory days but other glory days I have been to in the past. But I have been to this one more than a couple times. The atmosphere is ok, very sports oriented and decorated for the appropriate holiday at the time, to include a special menu to go with it. We kept it simple with an appetizer and main for the both of us. We had the knockout shrimp and I had the Reuben and my wife hand wings. The shrimp was good but I feel they could improve the sauce that goes with it, for some reason it tasted kind of mayo heavy, but the taste was overall ok. As with the rest of the meal, they were as you would expect it to be. It came out rather quickly and it was still very hot. My chief complaint would be that my wife said yes to French fries when prompted by the waiter at the time of order. He came back later and my wife mentioned it but 10 mins after that he came back and still forgot to put it in. Which wasn't a horrible ordeal as my wife was pretty full at that point. Brought my Mom in for lunch because she wanted a "nice burger." Came in at 1p.m., restaurant wasn't even a quarter full and it took the host a solid 5-minutes to acknowledge us after walking in. After being greeted by an indifferent host, we were told it would be a 15-minute wait. Ok. There were a number of un-bussed tables, staff standing around and talking to one another, and people just seating themselves after the host disappeared. After 15 minutes, we asked the host (who reappeared) how much longer it would be, and he told us another five minutes or so. Seriously? Uh, no. Service was terrible, restaurant was not very clean, and the staff just didn't seem to care. This is my second bad experience at a Glory Days, the first at the Alexandria location. Once is an anomaly, twice is a trend. No thanks. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

I've been coming here for a while. I don't know why. I give them chance after chance but no dice every time. Had a table for 2 today to have a lunch and we got there 1:11, and didn't end up getting to leave until 3:00. They weren't that busy. We had simple orders. I ordered bone - in wings and fries. Waited over an hour and received boneless wings and no fries. Terrible service every time. You tell them what's wrong or what's missing and they run away with no response. My sister, my niece, my daughter, and our friend Rahwa decided to come have lunch today to catch up. Our waitress was Madelyn. My friend Rahwa had a good allergy and there was a mix up between my plate and hers. The manager Joe came out to reassure us that the mix up was being fixed and he was going to accommodate us. My plate was delicious when it came out. Our service was excellent. They both went above and beyond to make sure that our meals were to our liking. Tonight was no exception, I received half my order and half someone else's, a quick call to the delivery service received a poor response, a call to Glory Days got me someone who said they were already aware of the mistake, I'm guessing the other party had already called as well. The response from Glory Days was unfortunately less than desired, especially as they had sealed the bag for delivery and made the mistake. This place is a nightmare. Please don't visit if you actually want to enjoy your dining experience. None of the staff were welcoming and enthusiastic. My family and I visited hoping that we would have a great experience similar to the ones we had at the Woodbridge location when it existed. unfortunately that wasn't the case. We walked into a fairly empty restaurant and were told it would be a 15min wait, and then waited 25 before asking for an updated wait time. The host stated that he just finished putting together our table and then led us to a table that had been empty the entire time. The server, Kennon, didn't acknowledge us for another 5+ minutes and didn't even greet us properly. She was pretty rude and acted as if we were bothering her by visiting the establishment. She messed up a drink order and didn't come back to the table except to ask if we needed to go boxes. A manager and another server were the ones that brought us our OVERCOOKED food, the drinks had weird debris in them as if the restaurant isn't cleaning their ice machine or drink nozzles, and we all left hungry because the food wasn't worth finishing. In the past, the service at this restaurant has been so slow, that I tried to avoid it at all costs. Tonight, though, my son really wanted to come here so I gave in. We were seated promptly and Nick was our server. Hands down, he was the best server we've ever had here. A group of us came here to catch up, and we ordered the following: Macho Nachos (yellow tortilla chips topped with queso, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream, with an addition of chili; definitely a generous portion for the 'full order,' the queso could have been thicker and saltier, and I liked the chili); Santa Fe Egg Rolls (rolls filled with chicken, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, chili peppers, black beans, spinach, corn, cilantro, and garlic, served with a side of Southwest dipping sauce; I actually really enjoyed these rolls, as they were perfectly and crisply-fried; the Southwest dipping sauce was a little watery, but the flavor complemented the rolls well); an order of Garlic Buffalo wings (these were saucy and savory, and the wings were tender and juicy; the hubs was a huge fan of these and couldn't stop raving about them); and, Cheeseburger Sliders (3 mini cheeseburgers with grilled onions and cheese; I opted for the sauteed mushrooms to be on the side and added some bacon; these were pretty okay). Food was decent. Paid 115 after a tip for three not bad for a party of 3. My issue was being accosted by a drunk multiple times and staff didn't say anything. Not expecting a server to do anything why would you when you're working on tips. Management would've been cool to step in. I didn't escalate the situation. Apparently it was busier than they were expecting because they seemed severely understaffed. The disinterested host sat us promptly and our server came over a few minutes later. As more tables came in it seemed like our server was the only one working. Although we put in our order the first time he came to the table we didn't see our bar drinks for over 20 minutes because "the bartender was the only one handling the bar area as well as taking all to go orders and bagging them up". We celebrated my dad's 75th birthday here and we are so glad we did! Our server Lia was simply amazing and wonderful! We were a party of 13 and didn't miss a beat! She was attentive to every detail and made us all feel welcomed. She took such good care of us. We gave her a heads up before our dad arrived that he has dementia and may be asking her the same questions over and over again. She replied so kindly and said "and I will answer his questions over and over again with a smile." Absolutely love her! She treated us like family and offered to take countless memorable photos of my dad and our family knowing how important it is for us to have these memories. Thank you Lia for such an awesome dining experience and making my dad's birthday even more special! We plan on coming here for upcoming family celebrations because of our experience here. Went in for Dinner on a Saturday night and despite a full house our waiter, Spiros, made us feel like we were the most important people in the building. Besides giving us great service he was entertaining and clearly enjoyed his work. So, when you get there, be sure to get his section. Other restaurants may be struggling to get good help, but Glory Days scored big when they found Spiros! The food is always great. This used to be my go-to spot on Sundays when I lived in Lorton, VA. I moved to DC 3 years ago and missed this place. So I took a drive out here and I didn't regret it. I've never had to wait for a table. Even on Saturday nights. And it doesn't matter where you sit because there are screens all around and are always playing sports. College basketball, XFL, NBA, MLB, everything. Their boneless wings are crispy and delicious. I can't go to Glory Days without getting wings. Food takes a reasonable amount of time to come out. I love their burgers and fries. The bill for two people normally comes to about $60 with tip. If you're looking for a laid back place to watch sports, eat a burger and drink a beer, I'd highly recommend Glory Days. read more

Glory Days really great for a casual dinner with family and friends. Their wait staff is young, but I don't have a problem with it. It's always a good idea to call ahead to see what the wait time will be since South County sometimes hosts events for fundraising, as well. One of my favorite things is how quickly the hosts and hostess' jump from their booth to open the door for you to allow you to either come in or leave. It's so polite and does not go unnoticed :) Yana and I went at 9 pm on a Friday night and the place wasn't too busy, which was great because we were starving! A few groups of people were sitting by the bar and the screens watching various sporting events. We opted for Appetizers and shared a half-order of Macho Nachos (minus the bacon) and 12-boneless Buffalo wings. Thank goodness we asked for mild, I can't image how saucy the "Hot" variety could have been! Our waitress, Melissa, was super nice and gave us both sauces: Blue Cheese and Ranch. The wings were served with celery and were great! They were crispy and juicy. I really liked them a lot. The Macho Nachos were pretty tasty as well. I've gone here a few times with no complaints, but the most recent time was a disappointment. I ordered wings and according to the menu they are offered with about eight or nine different types of sauce. I dislike spicy food so I chose the "mild" sauce. What was served was extremely hot/spicy. Even my husband, who enjoys hot/spicy food and eats it all the time, thought it was too spicy. Assuming the kitchen had made a mistake, I explained to the waiter I could hardly eat it. I have never in my life returned food to a kitchen but was hoping to do so, so I could eat a meal. The waiter stated that in fact, this was the "mild" version and, contrary to what the menu states re: having about eight or nine different sauces available, the wings are only available with this "mild" sauce, and that the hot/spicy sauce is covered with jalapenos. In other words, two sauces. Odd, because that is NOT what the menu describes where it lists around eight or nine sauces. He offered to replace it with another dish but I ultimately decided to decline the offer because I didn't care to start the meal over again - by this time my husband was almost done eating. Also, he stated the wings could not be ordered without any sauce at all. Meaning the kitchen receives wings prepared elsewhere with sauce already on it? So Glory Days -- please correct your menu regarding the wings item. Don't state you offer it in "mild" and approx. eight other sauces if this is not true. Makes me wonder what else on the menu is a flat out lie. Will think long and hard before eating at Glory Days again. read more

Normally we love this place, it's close to home and their wait staff and bar tenders are fantastic. However, last night, not sure if his name is Emmitt or Kermit but he was deplorable. We came hoping to see Miguel because he is an absolute delight, but we weren't so lucky. We finished eating and waited 20 minutes for our check. We were trying to grab this bar tenders attention to order more drinks and dessert but he was too busy with the "regulars" that were there and couldn't bother making eye contact while he grabbed beer glasses from a cooler underneath where we were sitting. After finally getting our check we were the least impressed to see that he had our bill named "two chicks" we don't know you and expect to be treated like the ladies we are you misogynistic women fearing little man. We'll never go back on a Tuesday. My friends and I tip well and expect at least mediocre service when your bar isn't full and we're being polite. read more
