Really impressed with this IHOP. We went on November 11 for the free meal for military & veterans. Our server, Tsinge, was very professional and excelled in serving us. She got us another order of eggs for my husband when he was unhappy with his runny eggs. We hardly eat out at a breakfast place or out in general, yet this was one of our best experiences. We went on Veteran's Day, and they offered Veterans to include Active Military free pancake meal. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. After a very eventful morning, my husband and I decided to eat at IHOP for a quick breakfast/lunch--brunch, really. My husband ordered his usual chicken fried steak, and I got the Breakfast Sampler with onions added to my scrambled eggs. We had just been seated, and because we come here so often, we didn't need time to decide what we wanted. Our server, Jose, greeted us promptly. We were seated in the middle section of the restaurant. As I looked around, I noticed that two of the eight tables still hadn't received their food, even though the customers had been waiting for some time. So, we figured there might be a bit of a delay--but we didn't mind and continued our conversation about our day so far. Jose quickly came over, greeted us, and took our drink order. When we indicated we were ready, he also took our food order. He returned with our drinks in about two minutes--very efficient. Jose was a kind and polite gentleman. As he left our table to check on others, we continued waiting for our food. No pressure. Surprisingly, our food arrived very quickly--before the other two tables that had been waiting longer. I mentioned to Jose how fast our food came out, but he didn't respond. However, I couldn't help but notice the confused expressions of those still waiting for their meals, clearly wondering why ours had arrived first. As we began eating, I noticed the onions I requested in my scrambled eggs were just placed on top rather than cooked in. This was a clear sign that the food had been pre-cooked and was just waiting to be plated. As I took a bite, I realized the food was cold. The eggs had already formed a solid texture, and the bacon had a layer of congealed bacon fat on top--again, indicating the food had been sitting for a while. Meanwhile, my husband's food was hot and freshly prepared. I sat there disappointed. While I tried not to complain, I couldn't bring myself to finish my meal and just ate some of the pancakes. My husband got Jose's attention and let him know that my food was cold. Although Jose kindly offered to take it back, I refused out of fear that the chef might react poorly and make the situation worse. I thanked Jose for being so understanding. My husband finished his food, and we asked for the check. As Jose went to retrieve it, the guests at one of the tables stopped him and asked (in Spanish) why we had been served before them when they had arrived earlier. Jose replied that some foods come out quicker than others--which confirmed what I had suspected. We paid for our meal (with no discount), left Jose a nice tip for his service, and left the restaurant. Within four to five minutes of leaving, I started to feel sick. You guessed it--food poisoning at its finest. While my husband didn't get sick (thankfully), I spent the rest of the day being treated for food poisoning. So, here's to our goodbyes to IHOP--my first and last experience. We will not be returning. read more

Waitress - Claudia I had no complaints about the food. I think we all know what to expect from ihop! I enjoyed my chicken and pancakes! Our waitress was amazing! We never once had to ask for a refill nor did we ever have to call her over... she came and checked on us at perfect times and made sure we didn't need anything! This ihop I noticed to be very well taken care of and clean. This ihop was the perfect stop after an early morning 5k. The food came out fast and was delicious. I liked the new protein focused options on the menu. I went with a friend around 10am on Saturday morning. There was no wait, but it was still very busy. The reason I'm giving it four stars is because the hosting wasn't the best. I had left something behind at the restaurant. When I called, I told the host the table # and time we were there. However the host "quickly" checked and said that a lot of customers had been in since then, and that the item couldn't be located. I ended up going back an hour later and asked someone else to check for me; they located my server and retrieved my missing item. Glad I went back in. read more

Have been going to this IHOP for years. I often bring my kids, and utilize the free kids meal on Tuesdays. Went on Tuesday, with my kids. My son's meal was not free. I spoke with the manager, who said we don't do that. I informed him that I have eaten here many times on Tuesdays with my kids and it wasn't an issue before. Apparently it's an issue now. I came here together with my Mom for Father's Day. We don't get to hang out very often and today was the perfect opportunity. We just arrived a few minutes ago, and it's quite crowded to be honest. They first tried to seat us at one of their very small tables, which wasn't happening. I requested a move to a normal medium sized table and we may have got the last one. Our Server has been great and she came to our table right away to take our orders. I ordered the class hamburger combo meal with cheese. This combo meal includes french fries which are delicious. My Mom got the bacon temptation omlet, which appears to be quite large. She has reported that the omlet was a little dry, but the bacon ingredients made the omlet the awesome food that it is. Me and my sister stopped at IHOP for breakfast this past weekend because we were both in the mood for some pancakes. First and foremost, they did very well with safety precautions and practicing social distancing. Our waitress was very nice. I cannot her name but she a really cool accent. She was very attentive, wore mask, and gloves. The tables are empty. They bring you silverware and all condiments are prepackaged and available upon request (syrup, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, etc.) We both had scrambled eggs hard, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and pancakes. The food came out in good timing and was fresh and hot. My pancakes melted in my mouth. What a great spur of the moment treat. There is really not too much more I can say. Overall, I really liked their food and service. It was fast and good. The waiters that served me that day were really nice and attentive to the customers. I didn't have to tell them that I needed a refill they came and asked. I also didn't have to ask for anything they sorta kind of knew that I would ask for those items. Let me tell you they didn't know me as it was my first time there. The food was good and cooked just how I like it. The pancakes were also very fluffy. My coffee was good but the only thing I did mind was the cleanliness. It wasn't as clean as I hoped it be. When I first walked in I was greeted by some friendly servers and was taken to my table. My seats were covered with some stuff here and there. Not very pleasing and the table was somewhat clean but could've used more especially to clean off the syrup on the table. I went to I-Hop with my husband for dinner on 2/18/16. I am use to experiencing chaos when I go to I-Hop. However to be fair I am usually there for lunch. It was a much calmer experience having dinner. The restaurant looked clean. The service was average. I had breakfast for dinner although there were some "legitimate" dinner options (e.g. shrimp) available. I have no complaints about the food. The only reason I am not giving this I-Hop a higher rating although everything was good nothing was exceptional or stood out enough for me to mention. Took 20 minutes to get the bill straightened out. Pancakes very small and portions of scrambled eggs and hash browns were very, very small. Atmosphere was nice., but we will not return. Location we are familiar with and are comparing is Mt. Vernon Shopping Center. It is much better quality and service. Next time we'll go there. read more

Just crossed this ihop off our list. Now in the top of the "remind me never to return list". Pros: close to home. Inexpensive. Casual. No wait if you go during non peak times. Cons: coffee is just horrendous. Undrinkable. Tried to order mocha chocolate something fancy drink thinking anything would be better. It was not. Perhaps worse than plain coffee. I need coffee with breakfast. Can't get past it. Service wasn't horrible but waitress seemed to misunderstand my order. Didn't even being my daughters meal. Maybe she thought we were sharing one meal!? Pancakes were average at best. When the word pancake is in your restaurant name I expect an edible pancake.
