Awesome family comfort sports bar/restaurant outside of D.C. in northern Virginia. The staff was nothing short of amazing. Very attentive, courteous and, welcoming. They have a great menu that hosts a variety of innovative entree items, especially for comfort food. Though I opted out for the traditional wings and fries, I was very curious to try their meatloaf sandwiche. The wings however were still a great choice due to the fact that the accommodate mixing of multiple flavor profiles that arnt exclusively on the menu. I chose medium buffalo sauce tossed in old bay dry seasoning. The waiter commented on how delicious they looked and smelled when he brought them out. All in all this resturaunt had great atmosphere, great service and, great food. New waiter with issues not a problem but waiting for over 30 minutes for cold food. New waiter that day the Manager I didn't charge us for our food we took it but we had to reheat it when we got home which means that the flavoring and The Taste was all lost so we end up throwing it away after we put it in the oven and parts in the microwave. read more

I live a mile from this location, so I like to call in my order ahead of time. It is THEE worst! Obviously I haven't learned my lesson yet. You have to wait at least a minute before anyone pickup the phone, and when they finally do pick up they have to transfer you! I waited this afternoon for more than 2 1/2 minutes for someone to pick up! It is like this EVERY SINGLE TIME! It's so annoying! Once I called from my cell phone and after being on hold for almost 5 minutes (no one had taken my order), I DROVE there to place my order. I told the girl she still had me on hold! NEVER PAY CASH Paid in cash($20) and the manager at the time, "Gee",  who was bar tending due to shortage of staff, threw away the receipt and said I never paid. When I asked her to check the cameras to see that I paid she got defensive and stopped serving me and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave immediately. I give it a two because good grace I love their wings...other then that this place can kick rocks. There is absolutely no professionalism in this place. My husband and I used to enjoy coming here, service used to be so delightful. They treated you with respect, as us to them. Now you have kids working there who don't value their job or the service they provide. There are only two servers that I enjoy being served by and the rest is ridiculous. We visit Glory Days frequently. The meals are delicious. However, the last 2 times i asked for the peach cobler, they have brought me a scronny piece od peach pie. For the $6.99 cost, I could have purchased a whole pie at the grocey store in the shopping center. How disappointing. They need to learn the difference between pie and cobbler. Me and the family went to get a quick bite to eat around 530pm on a Friday. The service was pretty fast considering it was happy hour and the manager checked on us twice to ensure we had a good experience. The wings were not great. It was obvious that they added the wing sauce after they cooked the wings. My husband said his fish platter tasted greasy and not flavorful. Although neither of my children liked their pizza bagels we swapped them for the shrimp and fruit which my son enjoyed. The food was not great but the service was better than expected and the menu was about what I expect for this type of restaurant and price. I've been to this place a couple of times over the years but this is my first review of the restaurant. The food is pretty good and it's a fun place to go with your friends and or family, especially on a weekend night. They have a Tvs all around the restaurant, have a wide selection of food, and a variety of alcoholic beverages. Specifically this visit, was sub par. Really great food and super friendly staff! We had a LARGE party last night, probably 20-30 and the number of our party kept changing and people kept coming but the staff didn't seem to skip a beat. We are regulars at Glory Days. We have seen staff come and go. We have had some good times and some bad tunes here. In the end we still go back to support this local neighborhood restaurant. The managers here are fantastic. Jawad and Gee have always been there when we have hit a bump. Jawad is great. They had a great menu with lots of options, including a large gluten free menu that is typically hard to come by. Glory Days Grill is a great place to have a drink and catch a game or two. We were delayed by the Amtrak Auto Train for 4 hours so took an Uber over to this restaurant to grab a bite. We ordered the boneless grilled chicken wings sauce less. They came as two kabobs with four pieces in each stick. Needless to say the chicken was succulent and tender. The chef really took his time with these pieces. I ordered some sweet potato fries as a side( very small) would recommend to get the large side. For dessert we had the raspberry sorbet and a Bellini. Both were awesome. What made this delay redeemable was the service the Maggie provided. She offered to charge our phones and tablets. She was attentive but not in your face and suggested some small plates to hold us over until dinner. The manager Jose was very pleasant when he stopped by, even explained that we were welcome to stay until the train was ready( even though we would be taking up a table). Everything on this menu is better. First off! The wings are amazing! Big, juicy, and plump wings. We ended up ordering the Nashville wings those were delicious. I ordered the Rueben with a fried egg. I don't even know where to begin to tell you how awful this Glory Days is ran. This evening I thought I'd go have a bite and watch a ball game. My waiter was Jake...teenage lookin kid with lots of curly hair on top. These kids are so timid to take a food order, they don't write anything down, and before you know it, your experience is asking you why the hell didn't you just stay home. I ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer along with the chicken tenders platter. After 10 minutes go by, Jake comes out and asks, "Sir, you had the mozzarella sticks?" Then he brings me my chicken tenders first followed up with the mozzarella sticks. Then the kid never asks if I'd like any ranch or bleu cheese with my tenders, have to flag him down for that, and when it's brought to me, there's bleu cheese running down the sides of the cup. Just horrible, horrible service. Overpriced food with shitty service. This is most definitely the absolute last time I'll be going to the Lorton Glory Days. Needless to say Jake did not receive a tip at all. And I'm usually a 25-30% guy on gratuities. Also, I was like only one of two tables in ole Jake's section, so it's not like he was real busy. First let me start by saying I used to hate this place... I would drive 30 min out of my way to go to the Burke location because they were so much better.... BUT... they have changed so much since first coming here 3 years ago! The staff is so much more attentive and the food is always made perfect! If your going make sure to sit a the bar and let one of the Supreme Team bartenders take care of you! Miguel, Miguelito, and Jacob are the best! I stop in here about once a week, this was the worst service I have ever had. I sat at the bar, as the bartender went past me 3 times, never once acknowledging me. I finally had to flag him down. I ordered a Miller Lite, but he told me they were out, only to find out he lied. I ordered the soup, which came out cold. My glass was empty, sitting at the edge of the bar for approximately 5 minutes, once again, I had to flag him down again to order a second beer. Our food was brought to the table after about 90 min of waiting. Our server started using the bar exit out of the kitchen at one point because the poor guy probably ran out of responses on what was taking so long. Thank god we ordered 2 of the Shrimp Appetizers (which were probably the best firecracker shrimp recipe I've ever had) , but since we were a party of 8 , you can imagine it didn't last long or hold us over with the ridiculous wait time for the rest of the food to show up. I would have expected a manager to walk out to apologize and give some type of explanation ? But instead we were just hopeful it would eventually show up? The food was good, the staff was friendly but not super professional or trained and the manager was involved with the team but avoided dealing with us . If your super patient and not worried about wait times , I would say this would be a safe pic for your small group . If you have larger groups or expect normal wait times , probably not for you . So I've been to this glory days twice in the past two days different times the wifi and servers are the best thing about his place. I went once Sunday around noon and a Monday after 9pm my server at noon was very attentive friendly and just over all amazing think her name was T. Then went late night on a Monday with Jacob cool guy. Overall they both top notch. The food was lacking ordered wings and a salad Saturday ehhhh not really sauced looked dry same with the salad lacking on the dressing. Monday ordered bang shrimp it was ok but the burger I ordered medium and it was well done. What I'm getting at is the cooking is blah. Maybe pay the cooks more so they will enjoy the food they are cooking to serve to people. Basically the food was not giving wings were lukewarm and the burger was ehhh the beer was good too but let's face it you can't go wrong with Samuel Adams. Go here on Mondays for their burgers, so my review will be based on that. They have $5.99 / $7.99 (premium burgers) that are normally around $10-12, which is a great price. I have probably ordered probably every one of their burgers and can say these are some of the best burgers I have ever had. They are always cooked well, very tasty, and never dried out. Their fries are really good as well. I definitely recommend coming here for these. My only complaint is that they can be a little slow especially when you only have an hour for lunch. read more

This is our favorite Friday night hang out for many reasons. The food and service are always exemplary, and we can't say enough good things about the staff. There's one particular young lady, however, who we doubt ever gets a shout-out: Crystal the greeter. When she is not actively greeting customers at the door, she's busily clearing tables, restocking condiments, and doing other things around the restaurant, and always with a smile on her face. I was in the Lorton location on May 5th around 3:00 PM and I never have experienced anything like that before. The server took the order for our drinks, then came back to double check the drink order ( so delay of maybe 5 mins no -problem) Then the server delivery the margarita to the table and spills one drink on the table as it was very full ( drinks that are full great! Server not saying sorry or trying to clean it up a little concern) The restaurant was not full on this afternoon and the managers and staff were at their favorite table by the bar. ( This always happens which really does not seem appropriate but you do what makes your team happy) Our order: PEPPERED-BACON CHEESEBURGER and SHORT RIB GRILLED CHEESE ( 30 min later and nothing, the server said it should not be much longer and said he asked for the manager to come over) Well, I never have seen the new manager before and do not have his name. He finally came over to the table and said "your food should be here soon" ( He was busy at that corner table with the rest of your staff) I attached a picture of your corner table with our server but did not get the manager with dark hair slim build 5'5'' frame. (Managers, bartenders, and servers just hanging at a table) The lack of care and urgency to take care of customers or find out what is going on was very concerning. We love Glory Days. Decided to order online and do the delivery service. It does not advertise that it is delivered by a 3rd party service (Postmates), otherwise we wouldn't have done delivery. Online, our order said it was delivered. It never came. Called the store, to be told it was picked up and delivered. Took the drivers number, we called it and there was no answer. I understand once it is out of the restaurant, it is in the hands of the driver, but Glory Days did not offer to refund our money, or replace our order for curbside pickup, or offer any compensation. It seems I can't file a complaint with Postmates because I didn't order directly through them. I am very disappointed, and will stick to eating in the restaurant or doing pickup from now on, if we decide to come back. read more

I came to this joint with 3 of my girlfriends, we had such a good time, we had to come to yelp to review! First of all, our service was out of this world, Morgan? I believe her name was, she is very personable, very charismatic and knows her way around the menu! She recommended I get the knockout shrimp, and the Glory Burger. Can't really speak for my girlfriends but the sparks were flyin at our table! Girl knew what the kitchen could do! Did not disappoint. The fries were crispy perfection, and even though we were full as could be this girl sold us lava cakes that were all the hype AND MORE. Can I say anything else? The team worked well together, and if this girl can get a raise, you should absolutely give her a raise. The owner of this restaurant is a pittsburg fan and has decided to wallpaper the place with pittsburg penguins and Steelers. It's fine if you want to open a Pittsburg bar in the DC area, but please dont do it under the guise of neighbor sports bar, just be honest and up front about it. When people think glory days they think community--- and our community isn't in pittsburg. It is a weirdly polarizing thing to do. First time eating here our apps came and I asked the food runner what was up with all the pittsburg stuff. He told us about the owner. She then came to our table without us asking and started talking about how much she loved pittsburg. I said "but we are in dc!" She "no we arent. We arent in DC. We are in Virginia." I told her if she had come over to argue with me she could go. She said "well you're saying something absolutely false- we arent in DC." I've mobile ordered from Glory Days and dined in many times over the past 2 years. I find this place to have consistently bad service and horrible food. I've mostly ordered the salmon blt (no bacon) with sweet potato fries- the food is flavorless and the sweet potato fries are never cooked through. I haven't seen any improvement over the time I've eaten here, therefore I won't be eating here anymore. I'd rather travel to Springfield for better food rather than eat here again - Yard house is a great alternative. read more

The staff are always very friendly, and they take good care of every customer, whether you're a regular, or someone who pulled off the highway on your way through. The food is great, and they always have something new each month.
