The food was very good and I felt like it was a very relaxed atmosphere. I was there at lunch time. Was promptly seated and waited on. The food came in a timely manner. The waiter was a nice and polite guy. He had had to come back to our table a few times to because he forgot a couple things that were ordered. He didn't have a note pad to write things down, which I'm sure would have been helpful. I don't remember seeing him smile either. Glory Days is the type of place that used to be everywhere - the neighborhood bar/restaurant. The North Point GD is very friendly and welcoming and the food is consistently delicious. When this place opened a few months ago, my wife and I gave it a try mostly out of curiosity - what the heck, it was a new place in the neighborhood. Since it's sort of a sports bar and we're not really into sports, we figured we'd just go there once, try it out, and move on. Instead, we've become happy regulars. Why? Because it's extremely well run, friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. The food is pretty much what you'd expect in a sports bar, but with a difference - everything is really good. Not just good, but really good. The staff is also well-trained and attentive (with a special tip of the hat to our favorite waiter Keith Robertson). And while it seems kinda corny, getting a friendly greeting when you walk in is a nice start to the meal. We had only one bad experience at the place - when we sat outside and the service was slow. Other than that, every weekly visit has been a pleasure. Of note, you can turn any burger into a buffalo burger (highly recommended) for a bit more money, and there's a nice selection of microbrews. And the wine is both good and a very generous pour - one of their glasses is like two glasses anywhere else. A fun place and a great value, and while there are what seems like several hundred TV screens in the place, they're cleverly placed so you can either watch your favorite sport or completely ignore them (we've done both). read more

Love all the TVs the interaction of the managers to the guests and the atmosphere. My server tonight, Duy, all smiles, took excellent care of me and my family. Emily behind the bar, made my drink exactly to my expectations. I had the Grilled Buffalo Chicken salad. A delicious mix of cool salad and blue cheese with the spicy kick of the mild buffalo chicken grilled was the perfect combination. The slam dunk pretzels warm and soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. The cheese sauce served on the side is the perfect marriage to the pretzels. read more

Essentially have become a regular and managers know my family and always comes by to greet the kids and give them balloons or toys to help keep them happy and occupied while the parents get a few minutes to enjoy our meal. We had a great time about a week after this Glory Days opened. The service was great - drinks refilled on time, food on time, atmosphere awesome - very friendly environment and nice decor. Food is exactly what you would expect - it's American casual dining super reasonable restaurant not an overpriced overrated steakhouse. For those you can go to Town Center. Otherwise, our favorite was seafood pizza, beef on whack, Tex-Mex egg rolls, cheese fries and some warm chocolate ice cream awesomeness name of which I cannot remember. People in our party were surprisingly delighted by the selection of the beers at this place - tons of options and not standard stuff either. We saw one table that had a complaint. The Manager came by and addressed their complaint in such an amicable way, the people at the table left giving him a hug. Something to keep in mind is that this is a new place, and we saw it being slammed during the dinner - you can tell staff are all new, and some are still training - it can't always go perfect in the first month, and you can't expect perfection while people are still getting used to the new system, food and everything. What matters most is the way your concern is handled. If you actually do have a problem you should address it on the spot with the manager - they'll appreciate the feedback and your concern will be taken care of immediately. We have seen it happen! We were their as an extended family for birthday celebration for a 5 year old. I know some of you may think it a strange choice, but it was his so that is where we went. It was my first time and I'm a lot older than 5, but I may well want to go back for my next birthday. The food was fine, the service quick and friendly (our waiter even turned one of the multiple televisions to a cartoon station) for him. Worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. My girlfriend and I came in one evening for a drink and some appetizers at the bar. Upon sitting at the bar, the bartender approached us and asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for a drink menu, and he proceeded to sigh and toss a menu in front of us without a word. A few minutes later he returned, seemingly annoyed, and we each ordered a beer. He checked our IDs and went to get our drinks. The manager approached and again asked to see our IDs. I am 25 years old and have a vertical ID (not horizontal), and he stated that he was unable to serve me as it is illegal to serve alcohol to someone over 21 if they do not have a horizontal ID. In the state of VA this is not true, and I have never run into this problem in the past four years. Additionally, I have a sister (23 years old) who frequently visited this Glory Days and never had a problem being served with her vertical ID. When I tried to ask why this is seemingly a new "law," he told me I had to leave. As we were getting our things, he proceeded to repeat to me that I had to leave the restaurant. Never mind he would not serve me a drink, but also refused to serve me any food. The entire experience was humiliating, as the bar was fairly crowded at the time and the manager was rather forceful and loud as he spoke to me. Additionally, a friend of mine worked at the restaurant at the time, and upon explaining the experience to him he informed that this indeed was not a company policy that bartenders were told to follow. Bottom line, my girlfriend and I, nor will any member of my family, ever return to this Glory Days restaurant. Horrible experience. read more

Glorified circa 1985 Houlihans food. It's all ok, but they are doing nothing exceptional here. There is no standout dish or to die for thing on their menu. It's a great location with basic low end pub food and a lot of TVs for people to watch when they are not staring at their smartphones. Odd thing is usually restaurants in this category make up for it with portions. I hade cheeseburger that came with 11 french fries. Set your food expectations low and this place fine. Expect diners, drive-ins and dives and be disappointed. Could they hire a chef and have one killer dish? To much effort I guess. read more

START with Eicham, the Mgr, and his commitment to making sure you never have an unpleasant experience when you visit. The bar staff headed by Walli , the Bar Mgr, always are courteous, responsive, and pleasant and professional. Whether you come solo or bring your family the atmosphere is great for both. Even outside TVs !. Hapoy houes are awesome and the Burgers and Pizza specials are the best value in Reston. I give this stop a 5 of 5...not normal for me. Are they perfect of course not but they will make it right if an issue in your order should occur. Was excited about the Jan.2015 opening, but how disappointing. My group had the flat iron steak, Caesar salad, cheese fries, onion rings, and mild boneless wings, but no one thought highly of the food. Steak was rubbery, wings way too hot, and cheese fries not very cheesy. Caesar salad had a ranch-like gooey dressing. Ugh. Even the soft drinks on tap were awful: the soda mix was off, and they tasted hyper-sweet. Sent them back, and the replacements were ok (waiter pulled them from another tap). The seating is bad too: you're about 8" from the next booth or table. Despite tons of wait staff everywhere -- actually bumping in to each other due to the narrow aisles between tables and booths -- I waited longer than hopes for for outlet check...so much that everyone in my party left, and I closed out the check when waiter dude finally showed up. To their credit: beer tasted like...beer, and lots of TVs throughout. Too bad we waited for years for something to occupy this space, and all we get is a chain pub-grub joint. Glory Daze. read more

One star for my iced tea. I don't like chains to begin with but they come in handy. This location recently opened and they have a long way to go. My brother ordered a coke, our waiter brought diet coke. Twice. My 3.5 year old daughters chocolate milk took 10 minutes to come out, same as my husbands beer. Meanwhile our waiter was getting in arguments with other wait staff and managers right on the floor in front of everyone. We witnessed the bartender slamming his fist on the bar yelling at a waiter. It took almost 20 minutes to put in our order. He did not write down the order which at first was impressive. But he had to come out a few times to get reminders. When the food finally came out, there was a very long hair tangled in my salad. I sent it back and said no thank you to any thing else. The manager came out and all but forced me to tour the kitchen, insisting that everyone wore hair nets. I refused, several times. Not sure if that is even legal.... Our waiter had issues with several of his other tables. He did find time to play the crane game (that was right next to table we were sitting at) several times, on two separate occasions. The manager sent out complimentary nachos, which I didn't eat, and got a guilt trip about not eating. When we left our waiter was out front, smoking, on the phone. Iced tea was good. The location isn't the best, nor the worst. I was happy to hear that a new sports bar type restaurant was opening in the area, but it's not my go to by any means of the word. I've come to this location countless times now and the service/food quality/overall experience is about the same. Looks like younger high school/collage staff, who can come and go as far as service is concerned. The food is what you'd imagine from a sports bar, I wouldn't say anything like COME FOR THE WINGS! because they aren't that special. What they do have going for them is an endless array of TV's hanging on every wall and corner of the place. Doesn't matter where you sit, you'll be able to see the game for sure. As well as, like more Glory Days, they put individual speakers on each table so you can tune into which game/tv you'd like to hear. That is helpful for sure, however, its usually so loud in here that the speakers are overwhelmed. read more

We went here very often when it first opened. The service was initially great and timely. However the last three times we went it was tough to get the server's attention and the wings were undercooked and without enough sauce. The only reason I would go is for the wings and now I worry the wings won't be done right. We haven't been back for 7 months. I would give zero stars if I could. This is right in our neighborhood so we come here often. This past Friday I met my husband and our friend near there. I typically have a few glasses of wine a night. I say to that to point out I'm in no way a light weight and can handle myself. 1 1/2 glasses in I was FEELING it, but just thought it was because I'd had a hectic week. My last memory is ordering my third and I don't remember a thing after that. Complete black. My husband said I started to get sloppy- couldn't talk, couldn't walk, he had to drag me out (sorry if you witnessed that!). I woke up Saturday morning in a panic and told my husband I don't remember anything he was shocked and he said that our friend also blacked out after three bud lights (grown man 180 pounds). Friday evening, storm brewing, so wifey and I stopped in to our neighborhood hangout, Reston's Glory Days Bar. We've generally had good experiences, and have returned dozens of times. But what happened? We expected a wait, it being Friday, with nasty weather and all, but even though I gave my name and received a buzzer, others came in afterwards and were seated before us. Wife asks me what I think is happening, and I venture a guess that perhaps they phoned ahead. Finally, I ask the desk about when we can expect our turn, and they confess that we slipped through the cracks. No apology. The person who seems to be in charge comes around and asks if we want some water. No, we want a table. Finally a table is prepared, and we can order--but no explanations, no apologies, nada. We once had a power failure at Glory Days, and the manager came over, explained, and provided free appetizers. Another time the credit card machine was kaput, and again, free drinks. This time? Zilch. C'mon, Glory Days, kick up your game, there are many alternatives in the area, all clamoring for customers. Your call. read more

We took our family here (3 kids) plus my in laws & we all had a fantastic dining experience! Everyone loved the food & there was a great selection of craft beer. The place was clean & our server, Amanda, was awesome! Hicham, the manager, stopped by several times to say hello & to make sure we had everything we needed for a great dining experience!
