We returned to Glory Days today for the Monday specials and were greeted by the kindest and warmest welcome we've probably ever experienced at any restaurant. His name was Hicham, managing partner. What a difference it makes to get such welcome! He happily helped us with our table, pushed tables together to accommodate us smiling all the way. He clearly enjoys making the customers happy! I was skeptical when a friend mentioned lunch here because I've eaten once at the Vienna location and wasn't a fan. But I was convinced to give it another try. I'm glad I did. This place was cleaner, brighter, the service was attentive (well it wasn't too busy for a late lunch on a Federal Holiday) and the food was good. Fast, friendly, easy. How are cartoons appropriate at a sports bar?! Especially when the WORLDCUP IS GOING ON!!! While sitting on the patio as the second seated table, my friend and I waited some time to be greeted and offered a beverage and hello. Still the server came and asked "has someone greeted you all?" While clearly we hadn't been greeted... Then a table seated after us was greeted before us. Given drinks before us. Another table greeted next was allowed to watch cartoons as if this ten year old child was a paying customer... We were willing to spend several dollars on a generous meal and drinks, and after ordering an appetizer, drinks and a meal this 10 year old and mom was offered more accommodation than us... We spoke with whom seemed to be an authority figure to please have both tv's turned to the World Cup USA soccer game and he offered us a seating indoors after requesting the quiet seating outside. How do you expect anyone looking for customer service to return. We just encountered a piss poor experience this Friday evening and will not return. I have Glory Days restaurants back home in Richmond and love them. The glory days in Reston was a terrible representation. I'd give them a ZERO star if I could!!!! read more

I just have to give public kudos to Glory Days Grill in Reston, VA. I'm sitting with my pn/tn kiddo right now and while their menu warns of potential allergens, the manager and our waiter came out to speak to us. The manager personally made sure that none of her order was cross contaminated and they radioed it in to the other staff members. Just outstanding care and attention. I don't think I've ever been more impressed with any establishment. Food is always great. But the service here is outstanding. Hope it stays this way! read more

Stopped by this location to have dinner on my way home from a work thing. It was around about 10 when I was there and though it was late the service was great. The only downside to the night was when the table next to mine was completely rude and disrespectful complaining about their food after they had eaten all of it and received the bill but not speaking to anyone about it beforehand. The server handled it gracefully though and the manager Jeff was extremely nice making sure we were well taken care of. If in the area again I will definitely be returning. read more

For years I've gotten the grilled chicken salad and they were delicious. Lately they are so small, even the full size. They are more like a side salad, not enough for a meal. Got takeout the other day and I had to add my own lettuce. Disappointing. read more

Lots of four-star reviews here I don't think this place deserves Positives: it's cute, clean and the TV's work. Our waitress was very good. Now the food: this place prides itself on its burgers and even offers prime beef for an extra charge. I ordered their special top-of-the-line burger. Totally tasteless. Poor cow died in vain. The kitchen needs to be told to put salt and pepper on a burger before you cook it. If you want a tasty burger try Santini's or Montmarte on Lake Anne. This place? Fuggetaboutit. read more

My son and I stopped in to watch football on Saturday and sat at a table in the bar area for food and family time. The bartenders and cocktail table servers are fantastic! We had been there for about an hour and a half when a table sat down next to us, The Wallaces as I would come to learn. Apparently they have a plaque at the table where we were seated. Mr. Wallace made it a point to come and bump my son and his chair several times to point out his plaque to his guests, then did the same to my chair. He continued to loudly drone on about "his" table, and how he would need to speak to management about us. My son was at this point was feeling uncomfortable, I then offered to Mr. Wallace to switch tables as it was clearly a problem for him. He declined, but continued on to his guests for a few more minutes just to reiterate that he had a name plaque on a table he was not seated at. My son and I decided to leave due to the annoyance and passive aggressive behavior from the table beside us. This really isn't a complaint, (the staff here are great) but should served more as a warning to everyone. DO NOT sit at Mr. Wallace's table, he will be sure to make you regret it. read more

It was pretty decent. Service was about a 3.5. Burger was about a 4. The pour on the shot of Hornitos tequila was about a 2. The beers were cold and I would come back! They could do a better job cleaning the tables and surrounding areas but I guess with the amount of business they get, that is asking their employees to care a little more than they need to. read more

I've always ate at Glory Day Grill, because it's the neighborhood sports restaurant! Last evening, I was disappointed in the carry out service. The bar server charged someone else's bill onto my credit card. I was told that they could not give me a credit receipt showing that my card would be credited the amount of $29.96. Came in on Monday night at 8pm. Ordered a draft beer and a margarita. The margarita description mentioned a salted rim, came out with no salt. Beer glass had a funny smell. No silverware on the table, had to ask for it. Crab pretzel and clam chowder were good, as was the service by the woman who dropped them off. I asked for the check to get settled up and the server attempted to clear all of the food and drinks off the table, that we were still working on. Not sure we'll be back. read more

Stopped by for a late dinner recently. My boyfriend ordered the mushroom hamburger which he said was about a 6 on a scale of 10. He ordered the fries unseasoned and they were fine, cooked correctly. That's about the only positive aspect of our meal. I wasn't very hungry so had a side order of mac & cheese along with a side order of cornbread. Normally you can't really mess up either of those items but their version of mac & cheese tasted like processed cheese (yuck), and their cornbread just wasn't good (how do you mess up cornbread?). Even the butter tasted funny. We started with the pretzel appetizer and the three long pretzel-like logs were very soft, which some people might like, but when I eat an oversized "soft" pretzel, I expect a bit of chewiness to it. I will add that the staff was very welcoming and our waiter friendly and efficient (although he did sit down on a stool beside our table to take our order, which was a little odd--guess he had had a long day). I was only going to give my review 2 stars for the food but then realized that I needed to bump it up a star for good frontline employees. read more

This place is terrible. The boneless wings were obviously frozen with heavy breaking and no seasoning. The Glory sauce taste like ketchup with no spice or flavor. The burger was frozen too with no seasoning, most notably was the lack of salt. I would never go here again. You're better off going to Santini's Deli just down the street. read more

We go on Mondays for their $5.99 burger specials; awesome burger selection or build your own (the first time we went, our server said we could even get the prime burgers for the bargain price). Two regular burgers (blue cheese/bacon/ grilled onions & onions/Swiss cheese /mushroom), w/ fries and two iced teas = $18.19 (without tip); you can't beat that. The only issue I have with this location is that on the three occasions we've been there, instead of your normal 'upbeat' greeting by the server, all three times the servers started out by telling us 'how tired they were, how long their shift has been", etc. Richard, our server on Monday 10/5, opened by telling us he'd been up since 4:45am that morning with a teething baby! read more

I go to this Glory Days with my friend regularly (at least once a month) and every time we leave we say how great the staff and management both are. All the employees are so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about their menu, and the managers are frequently walking around checking on tables as well as helping their staff. On top of that, the restaurant is always clean and the food is wonderful! (I recommend the nachos with chili!) I live closer to a different Glory Days but we always go to this one because the atmosphere and food are always GREAT! read more

We live in the neighborhood and walk over every so often for happy hour or dinner. This place started out great. Slowly things have been going wrong. Last Friday 4/27 we went over and there had to be four people manning the host stand - and yet nobody knew what was going on. There was a table on the patio, but nobody could sit there because customers were allowed to bring in their enormous dog who took up the space of at least two tables. Finally we sat at the bar where the bartending staff proceeded to talk trash to each other about pretty much every customer in the restaurant. It actually started getting very uncomfortable. Most of the servers and bartenders appear to hate their jobs. We will go back, but only because of the convenience of the place. read more
