I'm not sure what is going on with this Glory Days, but I would NOT recommend going here for lunch. I stopped in with a co-worker last week after telling her how much I love Glory Days as a chain and left pretty disappointed. We were greeted with confusion and the rest of our visit didn't get much better. There was a large party in front of us and we were not acknowledged until they were taken to their seats-even with two greeters! Then when we started heading off to a table with one person, we ended up being taken back to the host stand and being re-routed to another table after he conferred with the other hostess. Then it took a while for a server to pay us a visit, so by the time she took our drink order we pretty much knew what we wanted to eat. In the interim though, it took so long to get drinks that another server stopped by our table to make sure we were being helped. Once our soda's arrived we put in our order and waited, and waited, and waited. We were able to flag our waitress down for a soda refill but we only saw her once more to drop the check at the end, and even then, I had to flat out ask for it. The food took so long to get out to us that it was almost room temperature and my sandwich was so greasy I could barely finish half of it. We actually watched our aps come out and try to be delivered to a table behind us, only to be sent back to the kitchen and come back out 5 minutes later. So I am sure that was part of the problem. (see my pretzel pic and you can tell they had been sitting out a while) Sadly, we were so hungry at that point we didn't flag anyone down to make it right. To their credit, the bartenders that delivered our food and the other server that came to check on us were hustling, but even with their efforts, we were still there for an hour and a half for lunch. But still, and I think this is because I was not technically their table, when I asked for extra mustard and a side of mayo, I only got the mayo, and I only got that because I asked a second time when food was being dropped at a nearby table. Unfortunately, in this area, with so many other options this is just unacceptable to me. Maybe it was just a bad day, maybe the staff is new and under trained? IDK what the deal was, but I don't have that kind of time to come back to find out. Update: Almost immediately after posting this review I received a message from GD PR asking me if the manager could contact me. I obliged and provided my contact information and have heard nothing... *crickets* It's been a month. So, I'm going to guess that management is the issue here... too bad. read more

I just want to say THANK YOU to Edgar Amaya , he went over and beyond for my meal today. I order from Door Dash never received my order although I got a text that said my order was handed to me. I called to Glory days and spoke with Edgar Amaya and explained to him what happen he look my order up in the system. He told me he will re-make my order and drive it to me. And he did. Edgar went over and beyond customer service for me. My food was delivered it was hot and fresh and my burger was cooked to perfection. First time visiting, everything that we order, it was delicious, the hamburger and cheese burger, meatloaft sandwich, the hot wings, no mentioned my boston style clam chowder. I can not leave out the amazing server. Actually every one was very attentive, I really appreciate when the server check on my table frecuentlty making sure that everyone is okay. So, once they closed that location, we have tried out this location twice now. My husband loved the Dranesville location's Slam Dunk Pretzels but boy were they disappointing at North Point/Reston. The pretzels were way over cooked and burnt on the ends. The Chicken Ranchero Wrap was so bland and dry; even hot sauce didn't help it. Will we be back? Eh. Probably not. We might hit up the Herndon location next to see if his beloved Slam Dunk Pretzels can be restored and worth the trip. read more

Stopped by here on Sunday afternoon with my brother's family for a soccer related party. It was pretty quiet for a weekend, but there were no major events on so that probably explains the lack of crowds. Since we had a large group, service was a bit difficult but that was somewhat expected. That being said, the food was pretty good. I had the old Bay wings with fries, the wings were very good. In fact they were the highlight of the meal. Fries could have been a cooked a bit longer, but suspect they might have suffered for waiting for the rest of the meal. While it is likely that I will not be back in this area soon, I would stop in here for beer and burgers again. read more

We've been pretty reliable customers over the years, but the service on 8/5/23 was so bad we are reticent to continue ordering from there. We arrived around 4:30pm and there were only a few customers. We (two adults/one child) got seated promptly, but then waited, and waited, and waited. 20 minutes went by and nobody came by to take our drink order. Servers were milling around, but none of them seemed particularly engaged. At one point, three employees (one may have been a manager) were hanging out at the front talking to each other. After 20-30 minutes, we gave up and left. On the way out, the lady who seated us simply said, "have a good one." I doubt we will be returning to the North Point location. read more

So here's the deal. I am a regular. I come often on the weekends to the bar and occasionally to the floor with my wife and two kids. The atmosphere can be loud, especially during a big game. It can be quiet. It's a sports bar. The food is very good bar food. There are some things that are surprisingly great. Check out their seasonal menus. Wings are good. My kids like the pizza, wings, ribs,burgers, and linguine. My wife likes the wings and ribs. I like a lot of stuff here. Not a fan of the fish fry. Not everything is a home run but, most of it is good quality for the price. The bar service is fantastic if you are a regular. It's very good if your not. The bartenders are personable and good at their jobs. The busier it is, the better they are. I have seen that people complained about bartenders not being attentive. This does sometimes happen when it's slow. I believe the reason is, that is when the managers use slow times to address things with the staff. So I would knock management not bartenders. Floor service can be hit or miss. Some servers are on it. Some not so much. I don't know how you fix this. We have nights where are servers were some of the best. And nights we couldn't get attention. It is what it is. Most of the time we are in no hurry and we don't particularly care. I know that is not the way everybody works. So there are my thoughts. Nick, Hannah, Christina, and Chris are outstanding bartenders. Sheridan is a very friendly server/tender. There are other servers I have dealt with that are very good. All in all a very good sports bar. A very good locals hangout. It's not a Michelin Star restaurant, but it's not priced like one either. Come in. Relax. Quit taking life so seriously while you're here and you'll be just fine. read more

The General Manager invited us back. The food was wonderful and the waitress was very attentive. Unlike our first visit, the waitress was very friendly and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience. The general manager was there and checked on us several time throughout our visit. The food was delicious. It was made correctly and brought out in record time. It was definitely better than it was 8 months ago. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. My husband and I visit often, and it's always a great experience, however this time was exceptional, and it was all because of our server, Tina S. She greeted us promptly with a bubbly, warm, and friendly welcome. Her energy was radiant, and she managed several tables at once with ease. The food was great as well. Came here for dinner one night with my boyfriend. This is chain restaurant and I've been maybe once before, just at a different restaurant in a different part of the state. My most recent visit I got the slam dunk pretzels as my appetizer. My boyfriend had the coconut shrimp. Wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp, but my pretzels were really good! For my meal I got the baymazing crab and grilled chicken. It is available as a sandwich but my waiter recommended that I get it as it comes. It was really good! My boyfriend had a burger and he was happy with his choice. The service here was awesome. Our waiter checked on us frequently and made sure we were well taken care of. Great experience! read more

Opening day! The family and I came for dinner and being familiar with their other locations, very much were looking forward to dining closer to home. As with their other locations, its practically impossible to not sit in a location and not have several tvs nearby. The speaker box on your table allows you to receive the audio for the station you desire and keep it to your needed level. However, remember, in the end it's still a sports bar and pretty noisy! Our waiter, Brian, was pleasant. Quick to address any concerns (of which we had few) but the willingness was greatly appreciated. We chose standard fare: hamburger, fried shrimp and Chicago styled hotdogs. I ordered my burger rare and it came back the way I asked. No one at my table had any complaints about their food. All in all, I would say well done for opening day. We walked in at the same time as a number of people and GD staff was efficient at getting us through and seated. read more

I did not expect the quality of food I received at Glory Days my first time visiting, and all of my subsequent meals have been just as good. Stumbling into Glory Days one late night after work, I was expecting a quick and tasteless meal, but left actually impressed. The dishes you expect to be good at a sports grill are great here, such as the burgers, wings, and sandwiches. Even the dishes you don't expect to be good here are great, like the salmon. The TV's are always showing games, Tom and Jerry (please never take this off), or news. Thankfully not too loud. Unpleasant experience. We were on the list for outdoor seating (the only ones). And when a table opened up and we went to the host stand to claim our table it was stolen by a couple who walked in and according to the manager refused to leave. The management chose not to do anything and we waited for another table to open. Given the inconvenience I honestly expected the restaurant to make it right but when the bill came no dice. So there is really no benefit to using any restaurant etiquette here. Just grab your table and order. read more

I had just dropped a friend off at Dulles airport and needed a late night bite. Found this spot on Yelp known for the 24oz $7 margaritas Great atmosphere, clean restaurant and the service was on point. I got the southwest eggrolls with cheese fries (more like Mexican fries but ok lol) my company got bacon cheeseburgers with prime meat offered for a slight upcharge. No complaints I would definitely visit again. The bar is huge, with TVs everywhere you look even outside. I enjoyed myself! read more

Where do I even begin? This particular glory days location has been my home away from since opening day. Even more nostalgic is the fact that this location used to be a blockbuster growing up. My go to for Friday nights; now 25 years later my Friday nights consist of coming to Glory days in Reston and every other day of the week too. The food is ALWAYS amazing ( the cheese fries are literally to die for)..I've been in restaurant management 15 years and can hands down say I have never considered going anywhere else any day of the week, no wife to tell me otherwise! But Even better, this is my daughter's FAVORITE place to eat. Every person we interact with is so generous AND genuine. My daughter, camilla, has so much fun speaking with Mr. Eddie when he asks how her day is, every single time he sees her. Such genuine interactions, she speaks with him more than she does her grandparents! The other manager Logan is amazing!. hicham the owner as well; I've served him at my locationas well but has always been polite and caring. , christina, nicholas, hannah, sarah, Sheridan, chris, Duy, robert, Joshua... Good kids friendly restaurant which is also a sports bar- almost seems like an oxymoron but it seems to work. It's the first place I've ever been that had both cartoons and sports on the many TVs located throughout the restaurant. Service was great throughout the meal. The food was good typical bar fare. The nachos appetizer was huge, and that was the smallest size they had. Could have been an entire meal. My daughter really liked her kids slider and fries. The ranchero chicken wrap I had was good overall- well cooked and made, but it was lacking the kick I was expecting. A little heat would have been welcome, but it was still tasty overall. This is an excellent example of pathetically poor service. One can sit at the bar and be completely ignored for hours. You have to flag down a bar tender for everything. Never do they anticipate needs nor do they attempt to anticipate needs. The folks working here are quite good at focusing on their regular friends all the while ignoring everyone else. I not too excited about going to Glory Days locations, but this location is new and fairly nice compared to the other ones. The service was above average. I really appreciated the fact that our server was able to relocate our party to a bigger table when we had some extra people join us. The food selection is pretty standard sports bar fare. I still haven't found anything that really impresses me. The burgers are a safe bet. The beer selection isn't huge. The big domestics are there, but not a ton of other choices. The main draws are the TVs everywhere playing football on a Sunday afternoon. Chances are, they'll have your team on. read more

First time the driver picked up the wrong order (guess the restaurant does not check the driver order with the correct pick up)? Went to have a conversion with a friend over some drinks. Our waitress, Jade T, was amazing -- attentive, but not in the way; our drinks never got empty. As our conversation started running long, she gave us some personal recommendations from the menu and the food came out hot and fresh the moment it was ready; she was there when the kitchen was ready. Concerned we were taking up a table, she told us not to worry about it and, seeing the depth of our conversation bought (not a typo) us an appetizer that would be good to munch on after dinner. In short, she was actively looking out for us. That went well above and beyond. I wish I was doing a Secret Shopper at the moment, because Jade would have passed with flying colors and the owner an outstanding report. We let management know about her exemplary service and we each left a well deserved corresponding tip that we hoped would make her week. Corporate, if you're listening, she deserves some recognition. The only reason this gets three stars is the food is fairly decent. Not the greatest, but good enough that we keep coming back. And I'm being very generous by giving this place three stars. Every.Single.Time I try to order something on the menu, they're out or they don't have an ingredient. A previous poster said it best- there's a freaking GROCERY STORE across the parking lot. I don't get it! I truly don't. The service staff has always always always been sloooowwww. I rarely get a server who knows how to take care of a table. Yesterday was no exception. We sat outside and waited almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged. It wasn't even busy yet. And of course, when my salad came it was missing 2 ingredients. How does that even happen?! One was totally forgotten and the other THEY WERE OUT OF. Again...there's a grocery store in the same shopping plaza. We have decided to curb our visits to this location. We have come this location many times over the past two years and, unfortunately, it seems the service has gone down hill. Yesterday evening we sat at the bar for drinks and waited nearly 30 minutes after finishing for our tab. Our waitress and the manager passed our table multiple times and never took a second to check in on the table with empty drinks. The restaurant was not busy and appeared decently staffed. Throughout this time the kitchen staff could be heard yelling at each other and to other staff in the bar are. We also noticed on of the bussers did not wash his hands after using the rest room. This was my first time coming here and overall no complaint. We had a huge party of 16 for lunch and they seated us right away. The service was extremely efficient and the server was kind. I consistently enjoy Glory Days. Good selection of beer on tap and house red is OK. Food is always quite good. Wings are delicious. When asked they will generally make an off menu philly steak and cheese nachos that is off the charts. Service consistently good and cheerful. I sometimes wish the bartenders had more time to chat but they are almost always too busy. They change up their specials menu once a month which helps keep the food from getting "old". The only drawbacks are that the internet is slow/doesn't work and the little portable sound speakers that they have are horrible; actually listening to the game you are watching is near impossible. read more
