The food here is so good! I always get the same comb, chicken adobo, pancit and veggie lumpia. The quality is consistent which I can appreciate, because when you have a craving for something it has to be perfect. I agree with other Yelpers, the blonde lady is not very friendly, but everyone else is so I don't let her bother me too much when I stop by. It's not the biggest place, but if your hungry the picnic like tables fut the bill. This place is crazy busy all the time so be prepared to wait a few minutes for your food. read more

I am very disappointed with Glory's Bakery because they had changed their combo meals and their food has changed too. My family and I have noticed that the pepperoni bread is now made smaller and the service we received while there was lousy. Just left and didnt order anything due to lack of gloves. The caucasian guy in the back was grabbing the lumpia and putting them in bags used no gloves. The women had no gloves either. My friend referred me to this place and I thought it would be wonderful because she always said how much her family enjoyed it . I don't enjoy it at all and my family didn't either , we ordered the vegetable pancit which to me tasted like ramen noodles . And we also ordered the vegetable lumpia and beef lumpia and that wasn't good either , it was very greasy and bland . Two words: pepperoni bread. They did change the bread just a little so it's not quite as sweet as it used to be (much to my dismay), but it's still tasty! Their lumpia is delicious too! Such good and inexpensive food! Also, their fresh bread is to die for! read more

I found out about this place from a friend at work that brought in a large version of their pizza bread for a potluck. The pizza bread alone is worth the trip-it's like a homemade hot pocket. I have been told by another friend that they also have the best lumpia in the 757. I also enjoy their huge chocolate chip cookies which are more chocolate than cookie. There are plenty of items to choose from, and they are all reasonably priced (I don't understand why yelp has $$ listed). My tip for this place would be that the driveway is steep and the storefront doesn't even remotely resemble what you would expect a restaurant to look like. These facts aside, they will ALWAYS make my top 10 for lunch! read more

I love the food. I have not had one thing I didn't like. The only reason I go back is for the food. If the food wasn't as good as it is then I don't believe any one would go. The service is always terrible. I have called in my order and still had to wait 20 minutes just to pay for it. The lady that takes the orders is always a bitch. I have been eating at Glory's since highschool and that lady has been there for at least 13 years, you would think by now if she hated working there so much she would leave, but NO, there she is every time, not smiling and seems as if she is in physical pain while taking my order. The pepperoni bread is amazing along with the lumpia. I would have to say they have the best lumpia I have ever had. I got Italian sausage in the pepperoni bread one time and it was really good. I am also a huge fan of their pancit with vegetables. I really only have good things to say about this place except for the parking can be really bad depending on what time of the day you go and same with the line can be really long and they are slow with taking orders. The best time to go would be right when they open. But I still give this place 5 stars because the food never disappoints. It's so good that I will even go a couple days in a row without getting sick of it and that right there should tell you something! read more

The first time i came here I ordered the pancit, siopao and eggroll....DELICIOUS!!!!! The reason why i gave it a 4star is because the two ladies at the counter did not even say HI or anything, they said "what do I want?" so not very friendly, but maybe because they are overworked. I was so awed with that question....what do you want!? And last but not least, the place on the outside is not inviting. I thought it was an abandoned building, but there were people outside and said it is open. I will wait to come again and let the ladies calm down. And maybe then I will give it a 5star. Absolutely fantastic! Don't let this little hole in the wall joint fool you; they stay busy, and for good reason. All of the food is made fresh, in-house every day, and is always delicious. They sell everything - pansit, lumpia, sweet rolls, pepperoni bread, etc. And it's all amazing. You can also opt for chicken, pork, shrimp etc. I've never had a bad experience. Portion sizes are very generous, and it isn't expensive. Only downside is that they stop cooking for the day at 5:30, and close at 6 during the week. So if you want to grab dinner, then you have to get there early. But they do call ahead orders for pick up! read more

i would really appreciate if someone that worked there actually understood English. I had to repeat my order over 10 times for them to understand. i dont have a lisp or a speech impediment, I speak normal and I have honestly gone to this place 100 times, because i love their pepperoni bread, but slowly but surely theyve gotten it wrong, or like today which is why im writing this, i added italian sausage, and it was way over cooked, i took a piece out and hit it on my counter.... not to mention i pay extra for only 3 pieces? are you kidding me, that is like CHARCOAL. When I went to this location, there were 4 customers in the store. 2 ladies ordering lunch in front of me, a man sitting at a table and me. After the 2 ladies placed their order and moved to a table I moved up to the counter. I stood there and stood there and stood there, 15 minutes. Not one of the 4 employees in the back came out of the kitchen to smile, greet me or take me order. 2 of the employees looked at me a few times, so they knew I was there, they just wouldn't come out to take my order or even tell me they would be right with me. So i finally decided to check out the place. When I got there, there was this super short filipino woman standing in front of the counter, did not greet me, no hello, no nothing. I ignored .Finally another filipino lady greeted me with a smile.i ordered the" infamous" pizza bread where everybody was talking about. Eh, it was ok, nothing special. I also ordered their pork siopao DISGUSTING!, pork empenada even WORSE, it tastes like its been in the freezer since they were born, stale meat and just plain YUCK! I threw both away! The pork lumpia WOW! REALLY!! I did not taste nor see no meat at all, no wonder it was cheap and to top it with their nasty sauce. So sad, seriously. Will never go back again. The food is good, but there is a rude old lady that works in there. She just told a customer who simply asked what time they close that they close at 5. She couldn't stop there she felt the need to school him by saying it is nothing new. We have been doing this a long time, we stop cooking at 430. Well clearly it was new to him. Then comes my turn. I pay with a credit card with my picture on it and she insists I give her my drivers license. I tell her my photo is on my card. She rudely says I still need your license. I hand it to her and ask why is that if my picture is on my bank issued card? She says well the police don't care. Like we have moved on to another conversation. I ask, what dont the police care about. She says they give me their licenses without complaining. I didn't complain. I asked one question of which she was unable to answer and instead provided a negative attitude. I said oh that is good to know. If I didn't need this large order of food for a party I would have told her to keep it and walked out. There is absolutely no reason to not be polite and friendly especially when conducting business. This is my first review and unfortunately it's not favorable. I love the pepperoni bread and bagged bread crumbs and frequent quite often since it is near my work. 98% of the time, all is great and service good and food is warm and yummy. I've even turned my coworkers onto this place. HOWEVER, every time I go in and the blonde lady is working, I walk out mad and debating on returning. Today, I called in my order at 11:45. The person on the phone told me ready by 12:15. I arrived at that time and stood in line for 30 minutes since the aforementioned person could not figure out how to use the POS system that has been in the store for months now. She also portrays herself as someone in a higher position within the establishment. She should not have issues using the POS, let alone taking 20 minutes to fix as the line grows at prime lunch time. By the time I received my food and walked out, my lunch break was over and the line was 15 deep. No apologies for the wait. To boot, I confirmed when ordering that I could bring my co workers ID and cc to pay for their order and then was told could not when in store and ended up having to pay out of my pocket. If it was not for being a co workers birthday lunch, I would have walked out. I will continue to go there since the pep bread is delish, however I will now ask if the lady is working and only go on days that she is there! read more
