Got a basic pedi, omg did my feet need it, then wanted to try something i don't usually do, and i got the Apex gel nails, they are super light, you don't have to go through that chemical smell and the hassle of that stuff being put on your nails, it was kinda like just getting gel on. The shop is very clean, and my nail tech was so friendly and sweet. I'll definitely be back, to try some more things since they do everything here. read more

Awful quality and way too overpriced. My gel nails came off within 1-2 days and didn't even offer a discount or money back for half of my nails coming off when i had to come back in to get them fixed. Their manicure and pedicure is the bare minimum. Worst nail experience ever. read more

The new management is very UNPROFESSIONAL, CHILDLIKE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and I will NEVER return. I booked a gel mani and pedi for 3/11/17 at 12:30 pm. I was told that two separate technicians would be doing the service and I was ok with that. When I arrived I received my mani with Rahel, she was a new technician that I had never received service with. The mani service was just ok, she did my manicure and I felt like she could of cleaned my cuticles better so I asked her to please clean them up some more. She was said fine with it and she did. She finished my manicure and I went on to get my pedicure by Paula. My pedi was fine. After my mani & pedi, I proceeded to sit and wait under the drier while my pedi dried. I had just gotten to the drier and I hadn't even sat when the BOZO of a manager ask me to settle the tab. I mean where was I going to go? I was drying my nails for god's sake. So I disregarded it and proceed to book an appointment in 2 weeks for March 25th. I booked my appointment. My nails did not look liked they matched colorwise, I just wanted black gel and black nail polish for my nails. The color of the gel looked almost navy next to the black polish of my toes, so I called it out to the manager. He said "MAYBE YOU'RE COLORBLIND OR I'M COLORBLIND BUT JENNY THE GEL COLOR IS BLACK" So I thought, ok maybe its just me. But when I went outside the color were just not matching, so I decided to go back inside and just call it out. Then the BOZO decide to say "WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT THAT?" And so I left, I didn't even complain, or make a scene. So the following morning I get a voicemail from the receptionist, She said and I quote: "Hi Jenny, this is Shiny Nails calling, um, I was looking over the schedule and you have an appointment on March 25th, and I'm going to go ahead and CANCEL it because I don't feel like we are the best nail salon for you. I feel like you could find one better suited for you and none of our techs are really comfortable doing your nails, thank you and have a great weekend" I was appalled by this voicemail. So in other words that means you cant go to this nail salon and even complain or share if you are unsatisfied. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I'VE NEVER BEEN TURNED DOWN FOR SERVICE ANYWHERE. TO THE BOZO OF THE MANAGER, TAKE A CUSTOMER SERVICE CLASS BECAUSE YOU NEED TO, YOU LACK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE...YOU'RE JACKASS... read more

I felt my manicure and pedicure were so/so from here. After spending around 140$ (including tip)and 2 hours there for nails, I guess I expected to love them. My nails have lumps I think from the polish being too heavy in some places. By the time I got home my pedicure polish was messed up already. I didn't understand how as I sat there for an hour after the pedi getting my nails done and didn't move and they were gel. I will say the people there were nice. They may have even offered to fix my nails had I called and asked but I had to catch a flight very early the next morning so that wasn't an option. read more

I've been here to fix a bad nail job from another salon and they came out perfect. I've also on a whim scheduled mani pedis for a bridal party which is something I had never done before. They were great! And they were very patient with all of us. The bride got her eyebrows done and they looked phenomenal. Traveling cross country and really needed a mani and pedi badly, so took a chance from the reviews on Yelp and made an appointment. REALLY pleased! Paula did a fantastic job on my nails! She even asked me how I liked them to look and I couldn't be happier! She was quick, too, but they look absolutely fantastic! Had a pedicure and that gal also did a wonderful job. I am confused.. what is a manicure ? I thought it entailed removing polish, cuticle push/ trim, soak in some warm soapy water, Gel, or regular polish, lotion hand massage done..Right? When did everything become ala carte? 1) polish removal = (gel) $10.00 2) no soak no cuticle trim nada nothing oh and they drill your polish off.. not good for your nails 3) powder gel .. thought I'd try it..$45.00 apparently doesn't last any long than regular gel so why do much? My hands feel dirty after the process and under my nails feel cakey and gross..I am not impressed and won't be back..so disappointed for $65.00. read more

One of the best pedicures I've ever had. Hands down. You know when you're sitting there and the tech is just going through the motions but not actually doing anything? Well that certainly wasn't my experience here. Paula did an amazing job and was very thoughtful about what needed to be done to get my feet back into a state that wasn't so scary. I went in today and the male worker said they are booked all day, they do not take walk ins and only take appointments. I loooooove these guys. Though they seem to know everyone else's name and I'm just "hon" to them, I still feel like I'm treated like a first class citizen here. I frequent this establishment for pedicures and gel manicures, and I can't think of a single time that I came away disappointed or dismayed by the detail work done on the digits upstairs and down (fingers and toes, people ... stay with me). The only reason in the WORLD that I'm giving 'em four stars instead of five is that I moved here after having lived in two much larger cities (San Francisco and New York), where you can get a mani/pedi for $18. I make far less money here and shell out far more cash for my self-pampering luxuries ... baffles the mind. But that's a personal problem, right? As far as I'm concerned, if theses guys were doing it this way in SF, they would have their own reality show. Or at least, they'd be making a killing. read more

I came here for a gel manicure balance! MISTAKE! My nails looked like I didn't even get them done after I left. Not even 24 hours, three nails chipped! Seriously? I go back to get them fixed, and they were even WORSE after! So thick and unshared that I had to go to another nail salon to get them soaked off. Waste of money and time! read more
