*****UPDATE 4/23***** Thanks for responding. I do appreciate you offering to redo everything via a third visit, but after the second visit, I was too uncomfortable to come back. I've had to spend additional money elsewhere to fix it. 1) You said I only asked to fix two nails. I mentioned two, but also sent photos showing multiple nails and my entire pedicure were peeling. 2) You said prep is correct and not to compare. I'm not comparing for no reason. The Gel-X was very thin, incorrectly sized, and started lifting/popping off within 2 days. That's not normal. 3) You said volleyball caused it. I've played for almost 10 years and get Gel-X every 2-3 weeks. If volleyball caused this, the only difference was coming to your salon. 4) You said only a few toes/nails needed fixing. My entire pedicure was peeling on multiple toes (photos show that). The initial fix was buffing the top layer and painting over, not a proper redo, which compromises the integrity of the nail. In fact, the owner stopped the tech and asked her to redo the pedicure after I pointed out that additional toes were scratched during the buffing process. Also, I was also cut by the drill, got stung by acetone afterwards, and my toes were blown on by the tech's MOUTH, which is very unsanitary. I understand you're a newer salon, and I really did want to like this place, which is why I tipped and even booked another appointment after my first visit. I also reached out first to ask about your policy rather than demanding a refund or asking for anything to be fixed for free. At the end of the day, both visits, the photos, and past Gel-X reviews speak for themselves. I stand by my experience. read more

I was so happy to learn that Jackie had found her own location for a nail salon. It's still coming along, but already it's a cute, bright and a relaxing vibe. The parking lot was a nice surprise too. So many available spots. Jackie always takes care of my nails and is happy to try out any nail art I might want. She's also so nice to talk to and remembers all the little details you tell her. The ladies working were very nice, Jackie and Tina. Tina did my nails and it just came out so bad. I couldn't really tell 'til I left because my hands were always away from me, under the UV lamp or being worked on. Tina shaped my nails unevenly and left them rough, cut my cuticles excessively, and used 3 layers of base coat (not color!! clear base coat...) so my nails ended up very thick. All of my nails are thick on the tips and divoted in the middle. She filed after the color too, exposing my nail tips for some reason. The ladies were also sharing a nail oil where she put the applicator directly to my nails before sharing it to another customer. It took an hour and cost $35 for this gel manicure. read more

We were thrilled that they were able to accommodate three of us right away for a gel manicure Little did we know that it was a newly opened salon and would exceed our expectations. Jackie, the owner, was one of the sweetest women I have ever met and is also extremely talented and knowledgeable. She helped pick out the perfect holiday red and we all quickly pivoted and chose the same color. Maggie, another nail tech who did my daughter's nails, was also very kind and did a wonderful job. Unfortunate that i am making this update but the quality of the work is not there. Over the past 5 months i have gone in every 2-3 weeks for a fill and every time Ben would tell me that i needed a new set. Almost every time a nail or two would pop off the next day after getting a fill.The type of work i do i am not tough/rough with my hands at all. And i have been getting my nails done for the past 10 years and i have never ever ever had to get this many fallen off nails fixed or new sets. I went in this last weekend and after just getting a new set 2 weeks previous, Hannah told me i needed a new set. (Ben was on vacation) At that point i was so frustrated because it felt they are providing bad quality of work to always get you to get a new set. i politely asked her to just remove all of them and i would go elsewhere. Exactly what i did. So if my opinion is worth anything, i would say go somewhere else. read more

I would not recommend this place, I consider it a chop shop. I paid for my niece to get a pedicure done and they didn't file or actually clean under her nails. I had to speak up and she partially did it. When she was moving she messed up some of her nails and the lady didn't bother to redo. 4 of my nails broke and 2 of them peeled 3 days after my gel due to the color not being down to my cuticle and it being too bubbly. They invited me back to come back and fix but when I got there he said I could only fill in the ones that were broke. My concern was that they are too bubbly, if the filled in the ones that were cracked then it's not addressing the other nails. I just asked them to remove read more
