I tried this place for the first time as a walk in on a Friday around 4:15 pm. I was suprised that there wasn't any business but lucky for me I was helped quickly. I asked for a gel manicure (my real nails) and pedicure, it was $83. They did not charge to remove gel x from my hands which was nice (some places do). I gave Metro Nails 3 stars because although I'm satisfied with my service.. there were only 3 people working. A girl next to me sat there unattended the entire time I was there with her hands in I'm assuming acetone because she had on either acrylics or gel x. I felt so bad. (They didn't tell her it was a long wait) One of the 3 ladies set up her chair and then left to work on another woman's nails that came in after (maybe she had an appt idk) that seemed to be a regular. Multiple women came in and they were told there was a wait, one stayed because she had an appt @ 5 and the others left. The girl that had an appt sat there with no communication either for atleast 30-40 mins. The salon was clean and my ladies were nice and offered me water. In my opinion, they should hire more people and work on communicating a little better. read more

Walk-in customer here! I came in and was not greeted right away until a couple minutes went by and my partner was yelling from the car to see how long the wait was lol Then the ladies greeted me. They told me 20 minutes but it was more like 30 because they were busy. No problem because I was in no rush. Got dip nails and the ultimate feet jelly treatment. Absolutely disappointing. I was a walk in on June 16th and wanted to get my nails done for my bday, I got a new set of Gel X. My nail lady was Sarah. She removed my previous set of Gel Nails and I had so much residue all around my fingers. And she didn't trim my nails. Sarah was not upfront about the prices and didn't tell me about any prices, especially the design charge. She charged me 25$ for this designs. And she didn't do a great job on the application. It has been less than 2 weeks since I got them done and my thumb nail is about to pop off. Plus the quality isn't the greatest since the actual nail extensions didn't fit my nail bed. Is almost like she didn't care to have a good fit. Not worth the 85$. Do not go here, save your money and pay a better nail salon to do your nails. read more

So far no complaints & I'm so glad since I have been in the search for a new nail shop. I was sat quickly since I did walk in shortly after them opening. The ladies were helpful in picking a color, making conversation, overall making me feel welcome. Jenny did my gel manicure quickly while still paying close attention to detail. What I appreciated the most is that they did a proper soak off. She did not over file nails, which most places tend to do which causes me to have nail bed pain from the UV light. Victoria did a great job on fixing my broken toe nails. I appreciated her time to make the artificial nails look natural & my desired length. Foot callus treatment was good, and pedicure also included a a leg scrub, lotion, & mini massage. Overall, I am very happy with my nails. Paid $92 for my service, including 3% charge for card. read more

Despite a few discrepancies, my nails look almost exactly like the picture I showed them! Besides the fact that I wanted mine shorter than the pic, the only difference was that my nails were more clear than I wanted, which doesn't necessarily bother me. There are also air bubbles from the clear polish. Other than that, I really like my nails. This set only took about an hour and a half to complete, and it was a pretty friendly environment. Don't believe what you see ... It's really under staff and they have to turn customers away . I am not picky but I wasn't happy with my nails . The shape of my nails was terrible ! My two thumbs shape didn't match and my middle finger looked side ways . When I told the owner my nails was sideways she didn't say anything . I really wanted to love this place, but after my first time in today I don't think I even like it. Hate to be harsh, but let's get real. I had read the reviews before I scheduled my appointment, but I wonder if they were real now. I just needed a pedicure and am happy with the way the toenails finally turned out, but if you are looking for a warm, friendly atmosphere with staff that at least pretends to care then keep it moving. Seriously, kick rocks. When I arrived at 2:00 pm for my appointment, there was no one else in the place. First thing I notice is that there is zero atmosphere here. The shop is all painted grey with no wall art, no pretty music, just a long line of spa chairs. I was told to sit down in the first one and go ahead and get in. Ok, great, I think. Well, the tub was already full...of cold water. Huh? You want me to stick my feet in a tub of cold water for my treatment? Ummmm, nnnooo...I'm nnot doing that...and I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. Well, the salon owner was obviously irritated with me from that point forward....She sighed heavily, said there were some problems with her water supply today, and she did begrudgingly drain and refill it with nice warm and running water! Miracle of miracles, the water was suddenly back on! My lucky day. Along comes my nail technician. She is on the phone and later told me that was her mother up in LA. Problem is, she started everything without even saying Hi, my name is ..., she just started working on me and kept on the phone for about 60% of the time... I felt like somehow I am invading her space here. At one point she had cut my nails but left them too long, so I felt like I'm really interrupting her to say Hi, would you kindly make them shorter? She puts the phone down, looks at me, asks how short, warns me this might cut me, then I say, "Well obviously don't cut me, but I need them shorter to wear stockings without poking holes in them." OK, she gets the right length, then gets back on the phone with Mom. She seems annoyed that she has to do them all shorter now, but I really wasn't paying attention because she is so busy on her call and it feels like I'm intruding. At this point I just want to get this over with and get home. She hands me the menu and points to it, gesturing that I should pick a service. I decide to just get the basic, all things considered here. Then they get another customer. With a entire row of empty chairs, they sit this woman next to me. Which I didn't initially mind, EXCEPT that she played videos on her phone the entire time WITH THE VOLUME ON. Sorry, but when did rude become acceptable? What have I missed, Who does that? Why would a person assume everyone around them wants to hear their lectures or whatever they want to play? OMG. What a pig. People, please just don't, its called RUDE. And then once she was there, out came the other techs and mine finally got off the phone, and the techs spent the rest of the time I was there yammering away (now over the noise of this woman's phone playing her YouTube videos.) They're shouting in Vietnamese to each other. Wow, atmosphere at last! So, I never did get my nail tech's name, but it's OK I guess, because I won't need it to call back and reschedule any way. Overall, I got my nails painted and they look fine, I did tip her 7 on 25 because I do tip, but this is not what I was looking for in a Nail Salon experience. Maybe I should not have done that, but I don't want them saying bad things about me, now do I? LOL. Now THIS is a real review. Cheers! read more

I was very pleased with how she took her time to perfect the shape and to polish my nails! Victoria gave me gel pedicure and was gentle, took her time to work on me and it was a very relaxing! Usually I am very happy with my nails here. But today was just not the day. I came in for a refill of acrylic nails. I walked out with bricks on my finger nails. I know for a fact she knew what she did because before I left she mentioned "oh the nail thick cause of gel" she really thinks I don't know the difference between gel and acrylic when I initially saw how much product she was using to just REFILL! I paid $55 for these embarrassing nails. Not the mention the overflow of acrylic product under the nail that she didn't clean up. Horrible horrendous job read more

They told me to sit and wait which I did for about 15 minutes until they decided to seat me at an actual spa chair. There was only 3 people working (which is not my problem) they started on someone else who was waiting before me. Who knows how long she had been waiting for. I asked the girl how long it was going to be since I had made an appointment. She "didn't know, since there was only 3 of them working" I asked her then what was the point of making an appointment?
