I was loooking for a SPECIFIC energy drink, and I randomly called on my way home to see if they had it. I was mainly looking for it to avoid very specific ingredients that also are listed under other complicated names. They didn't have tons of the one I wanted because they sold through a bunch, I hesitated but told them what I was trying to avoid because I didn't want to have them look around, and honestly it's an energy drink so I didn't expect them to take the time to read ingredients and look for me. He GLADLY looked for me, and starting doing the searching, and I felt confident that he also searched through the more complicated names for it. He gave me multiple alternatives so I rushed in, and sure enough he was completely right and super knowledgeable. I appreciate him taking the time to look for me and going above and beyond. I came in with a low attitude came from another gnc where i was asking questions how for me to lose weight. I left home and then remember there was a gnc on San Fernando mission and I came here , I soon as I came in I was greeted with a smile , and I dint know if I should ask. But here I went I asked so many questions, and I got some amazing answers . I asked for help and I was given a huge help. I ended buying so many things that the lady here advised me . Now here is where it gets interesting, I was 320 pounds with a size 42, with this lady's help in less then 4 months I lost weight inch by inch one year later I went from being 3xl to regular L , I went from size 42 to a size 38 . Lets discuss the good first: From my recent encounter at this location, the Sales person was actually knowledgeable and had profound knowledge of things that the average person wouldn't. I was impressed. The not so good: I'm not sure how GNC stores stay in business. Everything is so overpriced! I consider myself super health conscious, a gym rat and a bodybuilder in my own mind! I buy online a vast variety of supplements, proteins, amino acids, etc so I have a good idea on what the pricing should. Some times I feel I can't wait for a specific supplement so I walk into the Vitamin Shoppe and there it is, the price is doubled and if not tripled compared to online shops. I don't get it. Yes, it's nice to see it, feel it and then buy it. Yes, there are times where we can't wait a few days the an online product to be shipped. I asked if they could track the transaction and they weren't even going to honor the exchange without the original receipt AND PURCHASOR'S DRIVER'S LICENSE.
