I used Yelp to request quotes for a move-in cleaning because my wife and I wanted the house cleaned before moving our family in. I reached out to Go Cleaning Services, and Juan, who was listed as the manager, responded. I specifically told him through Yelp that the house was a four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home. He quoted me $280. Not "around $280." Not "starting at $280." Just $280. It was clear as day in the Yelp messages. I then paid $50 to reserve the cleaning. When the crew showed up, they seemed confused by the size of the house. About 10 minutes later, Juan called and said he was somehow confused and thought it was a two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath home. I'm still not sure how that happened, since the actual size of the house was right there in writing. He also could not point to anything in our Yelp conversation that supported his new version of events. Then came the surprise: the price was suddenly no longer $280. It was $480. But lucky me, he could "discount" it to $440. Very generous to offer me a discount on a price increase caused by his own alleged confusion. At that point, I told him to have his staff leave. To his credit, he did send back my $50 reservation payment afterward. Unfortunately, that did not solve the actual problem, which was that we had movers coming the next morning and needed the house cleaned before moving our family in. So, based on my experience, I would not recommend Go Cleaning Services. The quote changed after the crew arrived, the explanation did not make sense, and the whole thing left us scrambling at the worst possible time. AVOID!

I was told 2 people would show up, it was just 1. He did ok but nothing more notable than I had already removed on stains. I feel like they applied some kind of hidden fee but at $160 complaining is not worth the time. I think they are just a licensed company outsourcing random cleaners and upcharging UPDATE: owner called on a Sunday to guilt me about leaving a bad review for a small business. I told him it wasn't worth the hassle coming out to go back and forth over $160 cleaning. His initial quote stated it would be 2 people for $160. He only sent one person because the job was "small" and that he only had one machine, but that didn't change the price, it stayed at $160. I'm not the only 1 star review here so I don't see why I got bothered on a Sunday about my review. He said I was only allowed 24-48 hours to leave a review, but I don't see how that's relevant, I am NOT obligated to give you the opportunity to come back and do the same job you failed to do right the first time, and I won't be bullied over the phone to change my review.

This is NOT a "professional" cleaning service. I and my wife generally do house cleaning 10x better than their "professional deep-cleaning" crew. One thing is for sure - this company sends any available person to clean - even if they are not professional cleaners and have ZERO experience. Such was my experience with them. During my 1st appointment, 2 people were to show up but only 1 actually showed up and claimed can clean in 6 hours. Thats 4k sqft of house that typically had taken 15-16 man hours. After 2 hours, I told the cleaner to go back as I paid for entire house (~4k sqft) deep clean and it cannot be done by 1 person and the service was priced for 15-16 manhours of service. Btw: when I mentioned it to manager Juan - somehow he kept claiming that he will not charge for extra hours - while I was thinking whether he meant he will charge less for less hours. The guy repeated that so I knew he was not joking. 2nd time - 2 people came - 1 from last time (had some experience) and another who was first timer and can't clean to save her life. Just terrible! Now about the quality - the worst quality I have seen in my entire life. This company's reviews must have been bought. Impossible that they earned the reviews. * toilets were dirty * sinks were dirty * Mirrors were not clean * Cabinets were dirty * Doors were not cleaned * Appliances were not wiped clean from outside * Gas range grates were never cleaned * Floors were not cleaned (kitchen) and rest if the wooden flooring had water marks everywhere. * Entire kitchen was not cleaned (in general) and rest wasn't cleaned * Stains in bathrooms were not removed until later inspection I mentioned to manager (Juan) that I feel like the cleaners DID NOT use any chemicals or sprays to clean because looking at toilets, sinks, mirrors, shower, cabinets, and floors - IT WAS OBVIOUS. To that Juan said they use eco friendly cleaners. I am not an idiot - his meaning of eco-friendly was just Water! The strange thing is that the cleaners spent 12 hrs of combined time yet things were unclean. How can that be? Makes no sense unless the cleaners were just NOT professional. My wife & I clean the house 10x better than them. By hiring and paying professional cleaners - the expectation was to have the house professionally cleaned - which was far from reality. Anyways, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this company to anyone for cleaning. The spend was complete waste - and it was quite a bit!

I was able to schedule service for the same week I reached out. The employees who came to my home were friendly and completed the work on my upstairs carpet, staircase, and couch for a marketable price. However, my laminate floor sustained some minor, though not very noticeable, damage from their equipment when they were completing my couch. Additionally, my couch now has some stains that were not present before their service. I contacted the company about these issues after being out of town for a couple of weeks due to the holidays, but they were unable to rectify the situation. I have certainly learned a lesson from this experience. In summary, the quality of the service was acceptable, but I do not believe it offered good value.

Amazing experience! We own a rental property in Concord that we manage from out of the area. These guys are super responsive and reliable, which is sometimes hard to find. I called midday and Martin had somebody out to the house later that same afternoon to give us an estimate. Their pricing was extremely reasonable and so we scheduled them to come the very next day to do the cleaning. They showed up on time and as promised. They did an amazing job - the place was spotless. I can't say enough. This team was great. Analyzed the jobs first, then jumped right in. I had a kitchen floor with hand designed vinyl tile that I just couldn't get clean. It took scrubbing by hand and it now looks just like it did new. I am so happy. I also badly needed my exterior windows cleaned - after 10 years or so. Go Cleaning Service was very responsive in quoting and came in with a great price. On the day, they notified me that they could come half an hour before the agreed-upon time -- for me in this situation, this was a strong positive, to get the job done earlier in the day. The crew worked quickly and diligently, relieving our carpeted upstairs and staircase of 7.5 years' worth of traffic, wear and pet-related stains. It really looked great! They also buff-scrubbed the kitchen and downstairs bathroom floor tiles and brightened those up. I recommend this crew and would definitely use them again in the future. read more

I wasn't expecting to find a deep cleaning service on such short notice. My move-out inspection was coming up and I already had notified the owner that I might not have the unit in perfect condition. I contacted GO Cleaning Service on Dec 25th (yes, on Christmas day), and Jimer responded immediately with a detailed quote of what was included. Fast forward 2 days. Even though they drove from Concord to SF, they arrived right on time. My apartment is now spotless. The carpet has been steamed, the stove and the ovens (microwave and traditional) are like new, they did a fantastic job. My inspection is tomorrow and I'm a happy camper (figuratively and literally). read more

After calling several carpet places and receiving quotes for a 2bedroom apartment, we went with GO cleaning and it was the BEST DECISION for us. This cleaning service is amazing! The carpets hadn't been cleaned fir years. The stairs were particularly soiled. The team (2 people) were on time and immediately set things up . They vacuumed first then went to work. The three room upstairs then the stairs. They even cleaned " behind" each step. Fast, efficient and reasonably priced! With all of us working from home for the past year and half and a new pet (puppy) at home, our carpets (5 rooms and 2 carpeted areas) and one sectional sofa became very dirty and smelly. I obtained quotes from a few service providers through Yelp. The quotes varied within a wide range. GO Cleaning was in the mid range with good reviews. Though they only had a few reviews, I chose them instinctively. Two people came today at 9.30 AM and they just left a few minutes ago (3.30 PM). They did a sincere and fantastic job and I am more than happy with the results. They followed all Covid protocols and were very polite and courteous. I highly recommend their service. I am planning to hire them again around this time next year. read more

I hired this service for a move-in/move-out cleaning, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. Two people arrived--a man and a woman. While they were both friendly and the man even showed me some of the tools he used, the quality of cleaning was subpar. The areas the woman "cleaned" were far from acceptable for a deep cleaning service. The side of the fridge was still brown, the gas stove area was greasy, and I even found cobwebs near the laundry machine. It was clear this was more of a surface-level cleaning, not the deep cleaning you'd expect for a move-in/move-out job. To make matters worse, the service was overpriced for the level of work done. I had to buy cleaning supplies myself and spend hours re-cleaning to make the place truly move-in ready. When I reached out to the owner to express my dissatisfaction, I was told they couldn't send anyone back because of the holiday season. Instead, I was offered a mere $20 refund--insulting given the circumstances. I wouldn't recommend this service if you're looking for thorough or professional cleaning. read more

I don't have enough good things about GO Cleaning Service! I needed a last minute appointment after having had a terrible experience with another cleaner. My mother was having surgery that same day and I needed someone to sanitize and deep clean the home. I called in complete panic and the manager, Juan, listened to my situation carefully to try and find a solution before I booked. He worked to find a team to come in and help us on such short notice. Within 30 minutes he found us a team! That alone merits a 5 star review! But it gets better! The day of the service, Jessica and Cesar came to my home and were very thoughtful. We had sleeping babies, adults, and even a cat. Nothing phased them. They were professional and accommodating to so much movement happening in the home. They also asked questions, went above and beyond what I had originally intended them to do, and most importantly brought peace to my home. I can't thank GO Cleaning, Juan, Jessica, and Cesar enough. I got bids from several cleaning companies on Yelp to do my carpets for a move out. Fast cleaning offered to give me a discount on a move out cleaning if I booked with the carpets, and another discount if the apartment was going to be empty--they specifically said "no furniture inside". I said my apartment would be completely empty with no belongings inside and we settled on the discounted price. They arrived a bit later than the promised time (9am) by about 45-50 minutes. The owner had told me they would be arriving 30 mins late due to a personal issue, which I said ok that's fine I'll meet you at 9:30, so I went there expecting to meet them at 9:30 instead of 9, and they were not there. The owner did not communicate with me at all regarding the further lateness or when they would be there. They showed up just before 10. The cleaners were very friendly and professional. Halfway through the clean I received two pictures from the owner of the inside of my fridge and the stovetop. I will attach those to this review. He told me how dirty they were and said I should have mentioned how filthy my apartment was before I let him give me a discount. So he was telling me that he was surprised by how dirty it was and then suggested that I should not get the discount we agreed upon. I brought up to him that he offered me a discount because I had bundled carpet+move out cleaning and because there was no furniture in the apartment. He hadn't asked me for any pictures to gauge the level of cleanliness in the apartment. He hadn't asked me any specifics about the state of the place. I didn't even know that this was a factor that was important to a cleaner, unless there was something like blood, puke, or a huge carpet stain. I basically told him I hired you guys to clean and now you're mad that the apartment wasn't pristine upon arrival? So it wasn't Spic and span but why would I hire somebody to clean my apartment if it was already clean? If I hire somebody to clean for several hundred dollars, I'm sorry, but I was surprised by his reaction to two things in my home being dirty. He was sort of implying that they would want to charge me more for the extra time spent and I was like I don't really think that's fair considering that was not part of the deal and the rest of the apartment had already been pre cleaned (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning) When they were done everything looked pretty good except that they had not cleaned under the removable element of the stovetop. I had also let the owner know before booking that I would need an official invoice to prove to my landlord that I had gotten a cleaning done. He promised he would send one but did not for several days. I kept asking him to and he kept saying "I'll send it right now" and then did not send it. He did finally send it after several days of asking. I really waffled between 3 and 4 stars because the cleaning was perfectly adequate.

This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.
