A sad update. This place was always on my list during our week at Rehoboth, but not anymore. We went in for a small meal and the standards have dropped. We started with some peel and eat shrimp. The shrimp were terrible. Not tender. And not fresh tasting. And it was paired with some cocktail sauce that was lacking in freshness and flavor. We also ordered a side of cole slaw and it seemed quite old. All the vegetables were wilted and tasteless. That was it. We were done. The plan was to order more food (because we were still hungry). I had no expectations for this place but I really enjoyed it. The staff was sooo nice. I got the calamari and fried oysters. The calamari was paired with a chipotle mayo based sauce. I love when marinara sauce isn't automatically paired with fried seafood. The chipotle sauce was really good. The calamari were small but perfectly cooked. I recommend asking for lemon to squeeze on. The fried oysters were also very delicious. They reminded me of huevera which I ate as a little kid in Peru. My son got the kids fish and chips. The fries were good. He said the fish was fine. The food that we enjoyed was the fish and chips and the shrimp appetizer. We didnt enjoy the steamed Shrimp basket. The shrimps tasted very rubbery and hot and felt like they used a microwave to zap the shrimp back to a hot temperature since they were probably not freshly steamed and cooked. SKIP THAT. wouldnt ever order that again. Otherwise everything else especially the stuffed jumbo shrimp w crab was fantastic and I love the cocktail sauce. I had to take a moment of me time on this work trip. I was going to make it a day just for myself and search out some good food in the area. The last time I was here I really didn't get to experience the area much. The street is so vibrant and I found myself already on my way here. Being so close to the ocean I knew I wanted some fish and chips. I did a search beforehand just for some local joints. Didn't really do much research on it, just, like I said, found myself on my way here. I like the approach they took here. You can either order at the walk up window or dine in. Definitely gives you that boardwalk vibe. But, do yourself a favor, and dine inside. It is kind of like an immersive experience. Especially for those that have visited London. The approach taken inside is to hit you with as much Britain as they can, specifically London. That bold blue is everywhere you look, British flags hang from everywhere and all along the walls you will see Underground Station's signs. Almost transports you to London. Many of the signs were recognizable to me. When I walked in the gentleman behind the counter asked me if I was dining in. When I said yes he told me I could sit wherever I wanted and he'd be with me shortly. I picked a two-seater that gave me a good view of the whole inside. When the gentleman came over I didn't have any doubt of what I was going to order, without missing a beat I said I wanted the Fish N Chips and off he went. While I waited for my food I just kept looking around the space. The mirrored wall makes it feel a lot bigger in here than it is. The Underground Signs had me reminiscing before my food got to me. I'd look at a sign and remember taking the Tube from there to visit an attraction or just move about the city. Then my food arrived. You get a big honking piece of fish. This thing is huge that is stretches the whole plate, and it's one of those oval plates. Of course it comes with chips, cole slaw, and tarter sauce. I'm gonna tell you a secret, I never use tarter sauce unless I am eating fish n chips. Can't tell you why, but it just tastes better, it's not logical at all. That fish was battered perfectly. Each bite there was a crispiness to it and each bite got a smear of that tartar sauce. Even when the fish would fall apart, I'd still do my best to get every morsel into my mouth. The slaw was a nice cool contrast to the piping hotness of the fish. And no, I would never overlook the chips. They were masterfully cut with that imperfect cut, course salt, and add some ketchup. I devoured this meal as I was being transported back to London in my mind. The neatest thing about this place is how you can pay. You have the option to pay at the register like at most businesses. Or you have the convenience of scanning the QR code on your tab and paying via that. I chose that option, it made it that much easier. On my way out I was asked by the gentleman how I enjoyed the meal. I told him it was amazing and took me back to London. He thanked me for that as he viewed that as a great compliment. And honestly, this is the closest I have gotten to true British fish n chips since I returned. I try the dish anytime I see it and none have compared to this place. read more

Had dinner here tonight after a fun day at the beach and so happy we chose this place. They are known for their fish and chips - and that's for good reason. The beer battered fish is crisp. We also got shrimp that was beer battered which I also recommend. We did get coconut shrimp and crab stuffed shrimp which both were fine but I wouldn't get those again because I'll stick with all things beer battered here and you should too. This cute little spot has all British decor and it's so quaint. On top of that the servers have incredible customer service. We also got some drinks which really paired well. Pretty decent! It's a real treat to find battered sausages on this side of the pond, so i ordered chips, battered sausage and curry sauce. Chips weren't exactly golden, but they still hit the spot. My only gripe is with the curry sauce, which was a half-full, half portion and was extremely watery, when it should be a thick, gloopy consistency (ok that might sound gross, but trust me- it isn't!), and ...er...well, filled to the top of the container... it was a nice surprise to get two battered sausages, when i was only expecting one though, so all in all - sort out the curry sauce and it would be a 5 star review! read more

I wasn't really hungry but definitely wanted to try this place so I just got the kids fish and chips at their to-go window. While I was waiting I took a menu and it looked fantastic. We didn't sit inside but took our fish and chips and ate them on the boardwalk. Hands down one of the best battered fishes we had while on the beach. The fish was flaky, crispy and flavorful. They don't skimp out and was worth every penny. The fries were good too but its a bit harder to stand out among the multitude of French fry establishments around.
