    Unagi!

2/13/26 I Love this place! I've been going here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Sometimes they can get very busy and service slows down a little but they really put in a solid effort to keep up. They are under new management and I like the improvements so far. This was our Valentine dinner (3rd year in a row) and it was excellent. We started with the Broiled Mussels. This has been one of our favorites for many years and we were a little surprised that they had changed it up.....and made them even better. The Mussels are huge, very tender and now topped with Scallops and Roe. Wow! Much, much better! I am a huge Unagi fan and this was incredible! A bigger portion than before and so incredibly tender and full of flavor! We finished the night with a beautiful order of Bluefin Tuna. Oh my God.....unbelievably delicious! This was a great night at Go Go. Stellar service. Baba and Freddy are great Sushi Chefs, very personable and very on top of things.

Paul. Where did you Go Go!? This was an old review with 5 stars that I am reviewing and It Hurts me to say write this but... I have been coming here for almost 20 years and you can see most of the negative reviews... have a similar pattern. I understand change. I understand giving it a chance. But I echo what all the long time GO GO customers have said. Every single thing where words taken right out of my mouth. Brought my daughter like we usually always do... and we're shocked. Gave it a chance. We're shocked again. There was no win here. Like I said everything that the old clients complained about is true. By daughter literally she's a tear because this was our spot. Literally live up the street. I hope New Go Go will hear the cries. Keep the upgrades. Bring back the old. Incorporate the new. Do something. Because we're permanently here. Strong support. Long time support. Consistent support. What else would you want as an owner than several long term customers. They'll bring you the business. Will try and convince her to come one last time. If not I will and see how it goes.

I'm on the fence and a bit confused stepping through the door. It wasn't that long ago me and my sons came here and now it appears they have changed ownership. The last ownership had a certain personable charm to the place and they remembered their customers. Inside is a bit more decorative, lots of blinking light ropes. I do like blinkies. The music is fine as well. Again, nothing negative on the new ownership, I'm just thrown off a bit by the change. I guess in all fairness a new ownership deserves a chance. On first impression though, I'm a bit disappointed as for years when coming here I would get a lobster roll, which is no longer available. I defaulted to bento boxes of all things, which I have never ordered something like that. The menu was mostly text but I can read. Prior establishments menu was highly visual. It's also now canned soft drinks and a glass of ice, budget, where prior was from fountain and there were refills. I'm sure the cost and hassle of soda fountain was likely why the change. The food was ok but I didn't finish it. The fish was ok but a little dry, the dumplings were deep fried, I'm on the fence with regard to their tempura shrimp, salad was good. Not forced to eat here by any means but I feel I had to settle for something rather than being able to order a favorite. Such is life. There is nothing at all wrong with the restaurant, I'm just unclear if I would return here over other sushi places in Pasadena. I normally went out of my way for Go Go Sushi. Hope this new Go Go does well.

Someone please explain to me why have a conveyor belt for food and drinks to be delivered and not use it?! This was just the first tip off that this place is not trying, the food was next. I guess I should have known that any All You Can Eat place is going to have lower quality fish. Stupid me. It was not great cuts of salmon, sushi or escolar. The escolar carpaccio was drowning in a sweet sticky sauce. Yuck. Then we got a mango sexy roll or something and it was chunky and the mango was inside the roll with the crab which overpowered the mango. All of it was just meh. Maybe our expectations were too high in the first place, but we won't be back. We'll go to Kura next time.

The new owners have better quality food and it's more modern inside. I got the bento box with chicken and tempura and it was very good. Service is superior. They are attentive and fast to assist you. Easy parking in the lot. The chicken was tender and flavorful.

the teriyaki salmon was the best fresh and the tempura was perfect love it i Can wait to try there all you can eat menu

A hidden gem AYCE sushi restaurant in Pasadena that really close to Arcadia. The fish was really fresh and we ordered a lot. Ordered all the limited sushi and we loved them. The no-rice rolls were really good too and we enjoyed it. The carpaccio it's similar with sashimi and loved the salmon and tuna. The service was great and we enjoyed our dinner. There is sake and beer on discounted price and we drank a lot.

The fish quality is fresh and the portion was big. Fast, attentive, and kind service. Highly recommend, best quality and value for all you can eat in town!!

Delicious food and great service! .

Fresh and clean fish with good quality. The restaurant is clean, and parking is easy and convenient. Overall, a good place for seafood.

mayo and mayo and mayo stacked on top of the roll? wow!!!! gonna throw up!!! and I threw it all away.

I have been coming here for 20 years. I never leave reviews. Today on memorial day 5pm I order six rolls on Uber eats. it looks disgusting tastes disgusting and there is even more unpleasant taste inside the food waiting for you. I paid a hundred bucks and I am angry as hell. this place has changed and it will go down within 3 months.

I tried the Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Margherita Pizza. My most candid thoughts: Margherita Pizza: This resembled more of a flat bread than a pizza. The sauce they used tasted like tomato pasta sauce from a jar and not necessarily pizza sauce. The dough tasted somewhat undercooked and thick, and the sauce and cheese did not stick well to the dough. Very bland in flavor. Huge portion though for the price. 5.5/10 Chicken Caesar Wrap: Very underwhelming as the chicken tasted dry and rough. I really liked the Spicy Caesar sauce though. It really spiced things up and added more flavors to the bland wrap. Portion was great and lettuce was fresh. I loved that they added avocados. However, it was definitely not the best Chicken Caesar wrap I've ever had and I would most definitely not be dying to order it again. 7/10 Parking is convenient as there is a free lot nearby. No seating inside as it's take out only.

It consisted of lettuce, avocado, corn, black beans, jicama, tomatoes, onion, quinoa, krispies, kale, cilantro, and cotija. The lettuce wasn't too fresh and there were some that were yellow green but not a big deal. It was packed with flavor even without the chipotle vinaigrette (relieved I got it on the side because I wasn't s big fan). The avocado was very fresh and plentiful. I added chicken for extra $4.74 and it was very tender! Overall, I enjoyed the salad but a bit pricey so it was a good one time experience! The Chicken Pesto Caprese ($14.10) was pretty good. It consisted of chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, pesto, and mixed greens. The greens were very fresh and the sandwich was packed with flavor. The chicken was a little dry but not a big deal. There was a lot of red pepper and it was a bit overwhelming so I wished there wasn't so much. Really enjoyed the pesto since it it wasn't too salty and was the cherry on top to the sandwich! I also really liked that the bread was soft and fresh. Got the "Not so Fried" Chicken Sandwich ($13.68) - 1/2 portion and it came with a side (paid extra $1.26) for tomato basil soup. It consisted of chicken, krispies, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, onions, and herb aioli. The bread was very fresh and soft. I'm glad I got this in half portion because I thought this was just ok and nothing special. The tomato basil soup was very oily and salty so wasn't too enjoyable. The Pomegranate Mint Lemonade ($5.10) was sooo sweet. It was refreshing but the mint was a little too overpowering. Definitely recommend adding ice and/or water otherwise it's way too sweet! Overall, the sandwich and salads were a bit pricey but definitely one of the better spots for sandwiches and salads in terms of quality and quantity!

5/5 - Outstanding Italian Dining Experience…read more Italian Deli Company in Pasadena exceeded our expectations in every way. The ambiance is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating that creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The mellow Italian music in the background added to the authentic dining experience. The food was exceptional. We ordered the Tagliatelle Polpette, Pollo e Prosciutto, Burrata e Prosciutto, and Salsiccia e Peperonata, and every dish was delicious and expertly prepared. The quality and freshness of the ingredients really stood out. From the fresh arugula and Parmesan cheese to the prosciutto and wine selection, everything tasted high-quality and carefully sourced. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. A special touch was Chef Lalo coming out to greet us personally, which made the experience even more memorable. The portions were very generous and offered excellent value for the price. We ended up taking food home because there was so much, and every bite was worth it. As for the noise level, there were a few families with children, but everyone was respectful, and the overall atmosphere remained calm and relaxing. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and outstanding hospitality in Pasadena, Italian Deli Company is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

I was pleasantly surprised at the welcoming staff and warm ambiance. Going to slide one complaint in here, the noise level in the upstairs portion of the restaurant is LOUD. We sat upstairs and it was pretty difficult to hear my friends talk from just across the table. We powered through, and by the second half of our meal, most diners had finished and left us upstairs with only a couple of lingering parties. THEN this place became GREAT! Here's all that we stuffed ourselves with during the cacophony of chatter: Panee Olio - Fresh baked ciabatta, olive oil, mixed olives - the bread was GOOD, nice crust, soft inside. It does make me sad that bread is no longer complimentary in 90% of all restaurants I dine at. Insalata Bietole - Roasted organic beets, wild arugula, strawberries, candied pecans, burrata, red wine vinaigrette - MMMMMM, this was a delicious salad. The burrata added such good creaminess to the dish. I love me a red wine vinaigrette, great balance of acid. Prosciutto Rucola e Tartufo - Ricotta sauce, fresh mozzarella, truffle shavings, arugula, shaved parmesan, white truffle essence - it's a nice light flatbread dish. I think I personally would have enjoyed the prosciutto baked crispy on the flatbread instead of fresh for more saltiness to the dish. Lasagna - Bolognese, bechamel, mixed mushrooms, parmesan - my friend loved her lasagna with the white sauce instead of red. I'm definitely coming back to try more of the menu. Street parking is found at a premium here, there's a small structure with a handful of subterranean parking around the corner and up the street.

On May 7th, 2026 at 3:30 PM I ordered for pickup my usual meat and potatoes plate. Weirdly, the order was ready for pickup in a couple of minutes when usually it would be ready in 10 minutes which would have been less sketchy. I should have trusted my instincts. I walked in to pick up my order and there were zero customers around, usually there are a few customers eating at the tables. Sign that the quality has dwindled and the regulars aren't retuning. I get back home to treat myself (I spent $28 for the meal plus a drink.) Much to my dismay I opened the plate and was so disappointed. It was half of what normally comes in the box but the potatoes were stacked high and of course extremely oily. I was like ok let's just eat this because I don't have more time to find another place to get food plus I've already splurged. The chicken was undercooked and rubbery and came with no chicken breast like it normally does just some boney legs. Since I was so hungry and paid the extra money for "light" chicken I still ate it. I'm sick now, the night of May 8th I'm still on the toilet. Save your money and go to Zankou if you want good rotisserie chicken they've been doing it right in LA since the 80s.
