    Hamachi Kama (Yellowtail Cheek)
    Gawon L.

Two thumbs up! The AYCE selection has a lot to offer, but the a la carte dishes were definitely the highlight for me. Their hamachi kama was one of my favorites--grilled perfectly with that rich flavor and tender texture, and the grilled prawns were another standout. Their carpaccios were really well balanced. The sauces complemented the fish without overpowering it, which let the flavor of the fish and its freshness come through. Overall, a great spot whether you're in the mood to go all out with AYCE with a group of friends and family or go with a la carte on a date out.

Too hot and searching for ice cream in Pasadena, I discovered this sushi restaurant called "Go Go Sushi". I didn't realize this restaurant offered All You Can Eat sushi. My family and I just got a few rolls and items. I spoke to the workers there, and they are very welcoming and friendly, even offering us free spicy edamame. Now I've found another All You Can Eat Sushi restaurant that I'll definitely try next time.

    Scallops, salmon, and yellowtail nigiri

Solid sushi place! $32.99 for AYCE lunch. Came here on a whim because we were in the area. Fish was fresh. Mostly had nigiri because that's what we eat. My boyfriend enjoyed a $3 beer because at that price, why wouldn't you? Lol. Server was super friendly and helpful and the chef was hustling and doing a great job. Tempura shrimp and calamari both had too much breading for my taste, and I think the sauces were a bit underwhelming, but overall the value is through the roof. Seems like a nice little local spot. Clean. Comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

    Special Carpaccio!!

This was easily one of the most memorable dinners I've ever had. We started with the tuna tataki and the salmon carpaccio. Both were sliced beautifully, and the citrus-soy dressing was light enough to let the fish speak for itself. The nigiri platter was the highlight of the night. The toro melted the moment it hit my tongue, and the yellowtail, salmon, and shrimp were all clean, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The baked jumbo prawns were unforgettable -- creamy and smoky, topped with masago and green onion. Every plate was presented with real care, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. I honestly don't think I'll ever forget this meal, and we'll definitely be back.

    Super dragon roll

Came for a quick lunch. Was thinking of the ayce sushi but decided to try rolls instead. They have a special of buy one get one 50% off rolls. Overall everything we got was yummy. My favorite was the super dragon roll. The spider roll was also very yummy with lots of soft shell crab inside. Great place, nice ambience and good service. Will come again to try the ayce.

The new owners have better quality food and it's more modern inside. I got the bento box with chicken and tempura and it was very good. Service is superior. They are attentive and fast to assist you. Easy parking in the lot. The chicken was tender and flavorful.

the teriyaki salmon was the best fresh and the tempura was perfect love it i Can wait to try there all you can eat menu

Service super fast nice music and good food. I will came back for more thank you for my delicious lunch

    Tuna carpaccio and albacore roll

Well this is my 2nd time here and hands down, the food, service and ambience is so delightful. The sushi chef's work diligently to ensure your order is fit for a king. I was blown away with the sashimi salad and tuna carpaccio. All this for $36.....you can't go wrong.

Sushi was really good and fresh tasting. The all you can eat option is well worth it. Service was great and they are very kind. Clean space and cozy ambiance. Definitely will come back! Mười trên mười!

A hidden gem AYCE sushi restaurant in Pasadena that really close to Arcadia. The fish was really fresh and we ordered a lot. Ordered all the limited sushi and we loved them. The no-rice rolls were really good too and we enjoyed it. The carpaccio it's similar with sashimi and loved the salmon and tuna. The service was great and we enjoyed our dinner. There is sake and beer on discounted price and we drank a lot.

Paul. Where did you Go Go!? This was an old review with 5 stars that I am reviewing and It Hurts me to say write this but... I have been coming here for almost 20 years and you can see most of the negative reviews... have a similar pattern. I understand change. I understand giving it a chance. But I echo what all the long time GO GO customers have said. Every single thing where words taken right out of my mouth. Brought my daughter like we usually always do... and we're shocked. Gave it a chance. We're shocked again. There was no win here. Like I said everything that the old clients complained about is true. By daughter literally she's a tear because this was our spot. Literally live up the street. I hope New Go Go will hear the cries. Keep the upgrades. Bring back the old. Incorporate the new. Do something. Because we're permanently here. Strong support. Long time support. Consistent support. What else would you want as an owner than several long term customers. They'll bring you the business. Will try and convince her to come one last time. If not I will and see how it goes.

2/13/26 I Love this place! I've been going here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Sometimes they can get very busy and service slows down a little but they really put in a solid effort to keep up. They are under new management and I like the improvements so far. This was our Valentine dinner (3rd year in a row) and it was excellent. We started with the Broiled Mussels. This has been one of our favorites for many years and we were a little surprised that they had changed it up.....and made them even better. The Mussels are huge, very tender and now topped with Scallops and Roe. Wow! Much, much better! I am a huge Unagi fan and this was incredible! A bigger portion than before and so incredibly tender and full of flavor! We finished the night with a beautiful order of Bluefin Tuna. Oh my God.....unbelievably delicious! This was a great night at Go Go. Stellar service. Baba and Freddy are great Sushi Chefs, very personable and very on top of things.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Got the lunch all-you-can-eat for the decent price of $32.99, which is cheaper than the advertised price posted outside. Ordered mostly sushi and sashimi and the food is very fresh. They also have a large variety of à la carte options. Will definitely come back with my kids next time.

There are a number of small boutique stores located here. This Japanese restaurant was a great find when I was out walking. I was actually going to pick up some food at another place. I read some of the reviews to get an idea of what to expect and was pleased to find that the food here is very good. This is a takeout only restaurant. They cater and also Chef Maezaki teaches sushi techniques in the surrounding area. I entered the front door and walked to the large counter. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. I asked a number of questions and realized that I must be talking to Chef Maezakl. He showed me the menu. He also showed me specials that they were offering. After taking some time I decided to order the special wagyu beef entree, and a spicy tuna hand roll. I sat down in one of the chairs available and waited. I could smell great aromas from the food being prepared in the kitchen. I was happy when my food arrived about 15 minutes later. I could sense his pride in what he had prepared for me. I enjoyed the complete dinner that was the wagyu beef entree. There was rice, pickled cucumber, California roll sushi, a special piece of fried chicken, and chicken gyoza. It came in a perfectly packed & arranged container, ready to eat. I'm happy to say the taste translated to a great experience in dining. The marinated beef was tender and flavorful. The chicken was moist tender with a crisp exterior. The cucumber salad was bright and refreshing. The fresh sushi was a nice touch. I went back another time to try the cold chicken ramen, a three piece chicken appetizer, and the tiramisu. I was happy with the fresh flavor of the vegetables in the ramen. It was a nice change. All I can say about the tiramisu is that it has an addicting flavor! I can't wait to have it again. It's nice that the parking lot accommodates all the small boutique businesses. There has always been plenty of parking when I was there. This shopping area with its boutique stores is a good find. I look forward to my experience at CM Ghost Kitchen.

Overall hits the spot for sushi fix. The only drawback is it's priced the same as restaurants which would have served two pieces of each fish plus uni and ikura etc. Although I will say I was pleasantly surprised at the tiny squeeze bottle sauces provided and that it tasted homemade (ponzu, yuzu, unagi sauce). May order again if there's a deal.

My friend and I shared the following dishes: -Carlos Jewel Box: My favorite dish here. I just loved the variety. Sashimi and fried seafood on a bed of fluffy and seasoned rice. Also a nice umami kick from the ikura. The sashimi was tasty and standard, but I really enjoyed the fried seafood bites. The tempura batter was great and the seafood was nice and plump. -Tendon Combo with Cold Udon: Same notes for the tempura here, the batter was great and the tempura here is on another level. I also liked the half boiled egg and breaking the yolk into the rice, so delicious! The cold udon dipping noodles were also tasty and refreshing. Great for hot weather. This place looked really popular, with a lot of people coming in and out, so we decided to give it a try. The girl seating people when we arrived wasn't particularly friendly, she seemed like she was just going through the motions. Inside looked really busy, so we decided to sit outside. Even with the crazy heat, there was plenty of shade where we were sitting, so it was actually bearable. There was a QR code near the entry way that I had scanned but the young lady ended up bringing us menus, which was helpful. I ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura bowl with wheat noodles, but actually wanted the Undo noodles but I let it go. My mom ordered the all-vegetable tempura bowl. We also added a piece of chicken breast tempura to each of our meals for some extra protein. The tempura was different from what I'm used to. The batter was very light and flaky, but it was delicious! We both really enjoyed the vegetables. My favorites were definitely the zucchini and pumpkin. Overall, the service ended up being decent as well. Now here's the part I feel bad about mentioning. About 40-60 minutes after we left, my stomach started cramping really badly, and I ended up in the restroom. No need to go into details--it was horrible. I asked my mom how she was feeling, and she was completely fine. We pretty much ate the same meal, with the main difference being that I had the shrimp tempura and she didn't. So naturally, I wondered if maybe I had gotten a bad piece of shrimp. Of course, I can't say for certain that the shrimp was the cause. I'm not going to write this place off as a bad restaurant because of my experience. It could have simply been an unfortunate one-off situation. The place was clearly popular, and by the time we were getting ready to leave, there was actually a line of people waiting to eat. Overall, I think this is probably a good spot and we genuinely enjoyed the food while we were there. Unfortunately, after the way I felt later that day, I just don't know if I'll personally be coming back anytime soon.

The karaage had a solid fry, and wasn't greasy at all while being both crunchy and juicy. The sauce was a creamy and spicy and paired well with the chicken. The tonkotsu ramen was delicious although a bit on the sweeter side - the egg was very well marinated and the chashu generous and flavorful. - Tokyo set with tuna don (5/5): Also came with soba noodles, miso soup, and tsukemono. The tuna don had a generous portion of tuna and rice. It tasted fresh and was a simple and well executed dish that satisfies your cravings. The soba noodles were a surprise to me. I didn't expect the soba noodles to be in a sauce with a string sesame oil consistency and taste. It was refreshing yet a bit heavier as a result. I also love the variety of fish provided with it. Overall (5/5): Disclaimer - we came here late April. But this is a gem in Pasadena that we wished we visited sooner! The lunch deals have very generous portions for the price and we were super stuffed after. We also were quite impressed with the execution of the tsukemono which looked like canned vegetables mixed with mushrooms that were pickled together for an unexpectedly rich flavor. The vibes of the establishment are modern and tasteful, and we really liked how spacious it was. Service was also solid. Overall we hope to be back to further explore the menu!

It came with a cabbage salad, miso soup, bowl of rice and surprisingly some Mac salad. I honestly thought it would have had more sashimi cause the dish was kinda small but no worries. Next time I'll try the sushi lunch combo cause my coworker got that and it looked like a good deal - it came with 5 pieces, a California roll and a spicy tuna roll. She only got miso soup and not the salad though. Food was pretty good. I did get a stomachache later but I think maybe it was just too much fried food or I just ate too much cause the fish tasted fine when I was there. There's only two bathrooms though - one for men and one for women. The one for women was out of order so they let me use the men's. It was clean. I just note this cause I dislike having just one bathroom for a fairly mid size restaurant. We also walked here so I'm not sure about the parking situation but I didn't see a lot so I'm guessing street parking on green or Wilson is what you'll have to do. The only other downside was that the couldn't do separate checks which always sucks in a group setting. Anyways, it's better than the other sushi place near our workplace so I'd give this place another chance.
