We had several appliances give out on us several months ago, including the washing machine and water heater. Both live in the garage. The water heater had been slow leaking for a while and was soaking into the walls, which we didn't realize until we smelled mold. That meant that we had to empty part of the garage and quick to get full access to that area. I called around and Go Mini's won our business handily. Not only did they have the size we needed for a lower price than their competitors, but they were able to deliver the same day. What?! The driver did a great job of maneuvering the pod up our driveway and making sure that we could access the doors without hitting the roof line of the garage. He also leveled it out so that it was situated securely. On the flip side, we rushed to get it emptied yesterday and finished at 9:30 p.m. I then wrote an email to office manager Lorie at 10 last night and asked if they could pick up the pod today or tomorrow. Apparently their driver came at 7:30 this morning and very quickly and silently took the unit away. I never heard a thing and I was up. I didn't realize that it was gone until I saw a text from Lorie that they completed the pick up. Stellar service, and professional communication throughout. I love how much thought, time, care and energy he puts forth in his work. He's passionate about what he's doing and strives to make the customer happy! Use Go Mini's...not only do they have the largest storage pod (20 feet!!!), but they are true professionals who strive to do their very best. What a great experience!!! From the GATE Go minis has been amazing (already)...Christine in customer service was so great in helping me & expediting our order. We were in a pickle & needed a storage unit delivered to our office immediately (we had product LITERALLY sitting in our parking lot with no where to store it-full warehouse) Every other company i contacted for portable storage containers would take at LEASTTT 2-3 days for delivery and charged an arm & a leg for not only the monthly rent but a CRAZYYY amount for delivery & pickup charges. I put in an online quote around 3pm Monday...was contacted by christine for further help literally 10 mins later, placed the order and she even honored a random $25 dollar off coupon i had found online!! She went to great lengths to be helpful and so sweet I couldnt have asked for better customer service for such an urgent & panicked request. The storage unit was just delivered (the very next day) and the driver Kerry was so efficient!! He called when he was on his way & when he got here he maneuvered that little container into a tinyyyyyy spot!! He even unloaded the storage unit to turn it around & reload it again so that the door to the unit was facing the correct way...pretty great of him to do that! It was kinda awesome watching him wiggle that flat bed truck into a spot and then control the flat bed all perfect to gently carry the storage unit to safety lol....it was quite a show since the spot we had to put it in was veryy small and kinda inconvenient for a huge truck!! but thank you so much again to Kerry (driver) & Christine (customer service) and GO minis for pulling me & my companys butt outta a sticky situation!! I needed a large container for my upcoming move. I called '1-800 PackRat,' 'PODs' and 'Go Mini's.' The service at both PackRat and PODs was atrocious. I was put on hold for lengthy periods of time while each of the customer service reps fumbled through my estimates over the phone. When I gave them the price I had been quoted from 'Go Mini's' they simply could not compete. This solidified my decision to reserve a container through Go Mini's and I have not been dissappointed. 1) Go Mini's is the ONLY container rental service with a 20' container. The 'lesser' competitors max out at 16'. 2) Go Mini's is LOCALLY OWNED and every person I've dealt with has been both PLEASANT and PROFESSIONAL. 3) Their pricing beats out everyone else. We had a fantastic experience working with Go Mini's. I was booking storage for my mother-in-law's move, and Lori in the main office was quick to respond, very clear in the quote, and offered extremely helpful advice in the process. We had to shift dates a few times to line up movers and services, and she was always flexible and clear in communication. A few different folks picked up or dropped off our units and all were friendly, kind, and helpful. One driver must have moved the pod two or three times to get it in exactly the right spot where we could access the entrance and still open our back-yard gate. Cannot say enough amazing things about these guys. Following a TERRIBLE Saturday experience with the "big-name" guys (see my profile for the one-star review I just wrote them), I didn't think there was a very good chance we'd be able to get anyone to deliver a container the next day - on a Sunday. Thankfully, I was wrong! Called the national number around 7pm Saturday wondering if there was any chance we could get next-day delivery. The young lady on the other end said she couldn't say for certain, but would get in touch with a local location immediately. Within 15 minutes, I had a call from Mike in Simi Valley from his personal cell phone. I asked if there was any chance we could get a container delivered the next morning. "There isn't a chance," he said, "there's a guarantee." Nice, Mike! Next morning, Mike was there himself unloading the container in front of our house. It was clean inside and out; I had no qualms about putting our house-full of belongings into it. We had a broker's open house scheduled for 11AM Tuesday; told Mike we'd need it gone by then. "No stress," he said and he was back to take the container away at 6AM on Tuesday. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Great service AND amazing customer service! read more

not happy. This Go Mini's website claims to move you anywhere. I started filling out the online info. and upon completion, it say that they can't give you an estimate. You have to call them. Ok if you are moving use these guys. They have 3 different mini storage sizes. Alex was extremely helpful in scheduling you and helping me with the rates. We had to be out of out place in a hurry. They totally accommodated us with our schedule. When the driver Caesar came to drop off the mini he was on top of his game. Had to park the mini under our carport. Loaded the mini up and two days later off it went to storage. I had to change the new delivery date no problem they squeezed me in. Again when it was time to drop off our stuff caesar was there and is extremely professional. I highly recommend these guys if you are moving. Great customer service. read more

We used two of their containers. Mike, the owner, was always awesome to work with. Valerie, his assistant (I believe), takes care of MUCH and was just as awesome. From the day we began using our first container until the day we needed to vacate, this company was incredible. The lower rating is because the actual day of our vacate was the worst experience we could have had. I have even emailed both Mike and Valerie about it and received no response. March 19, we vacated both containers. 1 container was out front and ready for us (but this is where it had been stored anyway). Our second container was in the back. The yard supervisor and I had spoken more than once. The first phone call was at least 2 weeks notice. The yard supervisor KNEW our second container need to be moved up front (it had another container in front of it), so as to facilitate our vacate. We arrived and the second container was never moved or unblocked. The ONLY answer we ever received from the yard supervisor was that the forklift could not move the containers due to the crumpled black top. I asked more than once why the flat bed truck they use to transport these containers wasn't used (and we were not notified of any of this in advance) - I was never answered. In addition to our being so inconvenienced as to have to back a 26' UHaul to the back of the yard to vacate our container in the back and blocked by another container, we were also asked TWICE to move our 26' UHaul (while in the process of moving our belongings) so that their driver could access a container for another customer that the UHaul we were transferring our things to was blocking. Twice we were interrupted and twice I flat out refused and TOLD them they HAD to wait. We still had to get from Ventura County back out to San Dimas, pack for a short term trip and drive another 7.5 hours to where we had been in the process of moving to since the last weekend in February. I have no question believing that both of our containers would have been transported to where we were moving to had we been paying for our containers to be moved. It is clear to me that the container we were horribly inconvenienced over - due to crumpled black top, was due our vacate and no more money to be made by us. I will gladly repeat that the owner, Mike, and his assistant, Valerie, were always very accommodating and helpful. The yard guys - not so much, and - unfortunately, Mike was out of the country at the time of our vacate. I am truly so sorry that we were put through what the yard guys subjected us to upon the day of our vacate. (I was told "thank you for your business" and "sorry for the inconvenience" AFTER we were done vacating the container in the back of the yard and were working on the one out front. By this time, those words were just words). I hope Mark and his truck driver, the yard employees, have received some kind of disciplinary action for their treatment of us upon our vacate. I don't know because no one has responded to me. read more

These folks came out to our place to drop of 2 pods so we could begin a pack up and relocate. Since we have a narrow access way to the designated landing spot they needed to maneuver carefully so as not to cause damage to some of the hardscape of the home we had sold. There was only a couple of weeks before we were to close escrow so we needed immediate delivery and cartage. Things did not go well both on arrival and departure as damage to block and brick items was substantial. The two drivers were relatively young and likely did not have much experience. When the damage occurred the tension heated up pretty quick and the drivers were VERY, very uncooperative in providing copies of licenses, registration or insurance liability for the vehicles. They kept insisting we call the office and speak to the office manager or owner. Bear in mind they were on private property not on the public thoroughfare when the damage occurred. In short we found out they have had problems in the past carrying the appropriate licenses to operate their trucks at all and we had to make an insurance claim to get the $$ to fix the retaining wall and mailbox they smashed up. The owner Michael Lohman was absolutely not helpful or responsive to any of our phone contacts or letters. Many thanks to State Farm who got an adjuster out, handled our claim quickly and eventually chased down this company's liability insurance to get their money back. We managed to close escrow but it was a bit later than expected and the repairs didn't match perfectly. Lucky for us the new owners didn't make a huge fuss. BEWARE of this company and their business practices as they appear to think they are above the laws of the state and only want your money. read more
