This a takeout only place, there are benches outside and waiting chairs inside. The service is quick and they were all so sweet. They have lunch specials and offer catering! The food is flavorful and juicy. I would like to come again to try other flavors

Our family absolutely loves this place! If you're craving great Korean food in Claremont, Go To Go Chicken is the spot. The star of the menu for us is definitely the soy garlic boneless chicken -- perfectly crispy, super flavorful, and not greasy at all. It's the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after you finish. Everything we've tried has been fresh and delicious, and you can tell they put care into their cooking. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the service is always fast. This has quickly become one of our go-to family restaurants. Highly recommend!

Korean approved That's Korean chicken alright. Shocked that they have good authentic Korean fried chicken in Claremont but I'll take it! Classic flavors with also newer trendy ones which was very nice. Thought the pricing was very reasonable and the menu has everything you need on it.

a family owned chicken wing joint owned by a super nice family worth going to just for the friendly interactions. I go for the boneless wings. Spicy isn't too spicy and mild isn't too mild. they offer ranch, other yummy sauces and pickled daikon radish in convenient to-go containers. In fact your whole order comes in convenient to go boxes that'll just barely contain your urge to start chomping down. Lastly, if the pricing is intimating just know that they are not greedy with their wing count and usually throw in more than what you ordered. scratch that, not usually, they always do. totally worth it.

My family wanted to try a new Korean wings place that's closer and we found this place with great reviews. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We decided to order the Soy Garlic & Korean BBQ Mild 10 PCS wings, Onion Rings & Sweet Potato Fries, and Crispy strips 5 PCS. All the food was delicious and wasn't too spicy thankfully. I was able to save some of the leftovers for work and it was more than enough food where we could've just shared 5 PCs for the wings instead. The food prices were very reasonable. I would definitely come back again to try other dishes and my family is already asking to go back there.

For trying this place on a whim, I would say this place is worth it. I had a craving for comfort Korean food and they delivered! Service was really kind and efficient and the store itself was minimal but you know the food is made with love. I got the Tebboki with sausage and the lunch special (I got the boneless chicken + side) and it tastes perfect. Go try this place! Everything I got was around 25$ and the portion is great.

PROS: - Crispy, crunchy goodness 10 pc chicken wings 5/5 - Thumbs up on the Combo special wings (garlic soy) and crispy wings with sweet potatoes & soda; the garlic soy was finger-lickin' good 5/5 - Loved the pickled radishes 5/5 CONS: - no dining room, mostly to-go - no restrooms within sight - I noticed the size of the flat wings are a bit smaller than the regular flat wings 4/5

But honestly? The food was so good, I had to leave a review. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the smothered fries, and both were absolutely amazing. What impressed me most was how well everything held up during delivery. Even after sitting for a bit, the sandwich was still crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. And the fries? Still delicious--cheesy, saucy, and totally crave-worthy. Not all comfort food travels well, but Egg N Bird nails it. It's not trying to reinvent the wheel--nothing overly fancy or overhyped--but the flavor combos are on point, and everything just hits the spot. I've been craving it ever since, which says a lot. Honestly, it's the kind of food you could eat fresh or as leftovers and still be just as happy. Highly recommend if you're looking for solid, feel-good comfort food that actually holds up on delivery. Will definitely be ordering again.

I don't know what is going on with Egg N Bird, but my visit this week was completely different…read moreexperience than my past visits. First off the menu is pretty much gone. There used to be 9 breakfast food options that are no longer available. There were 5 rice bowl options that have been reduced to 2, and the 5 sandwich options are now down to 3. I'm sure for operation costs, they've had to cut down and just sell their top sellers? That's what I'm assuming because why else would you eliminate 75% of your menu? I was hoping to get some of the breakfast options for my kids and a few of the rice bowls, but since breakfast was no longer available, and I didn't really have many rice options, I just picked up the Korean bowl. I came home and ate the bowl and it was awful. The chicken was so so dry, it honestly tasted like they had gotten a leftover piece and threw it in the fryer again to warm it up. I'm so sad because I loved this place so much. But, with such a limited menu (we mainly came because my kids enjoyed the breakfast menu) and the food being so bad now, I don't think I'll be back.

She was incredibly attentive and accommodating, especially since we were dining with a toddler. That level of service definitely made the meal even more enjoyable. For dinner, we ordered the Ribs & Two Meat Combo with Memphis Ribs, Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausage, and Brisket, plus the Chicken & Two Meat Combo with Brisket, Original Smoked Sausage, and Southern Fried Chicken. Our daughter had the BBQ Chicken Kids Meal, and of course we couldn't leave without ordering the Cast Iron Cornbread. Everything was delicious, but a few items really stood out. The jalapeño jam served with the cornbread was absolute perfection, sweet with just the right amount of heat. The Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausage was easily one of my favorites. The Southern Fried Chicken was incredibly crispy, and both my toddler and I couldn't get enough of the mac and cheese. Gus's offers great value for the quality of food you get. The portions are generous and we had no complaints when it came to flavor. Parking is easy thanks to the nearby parking structure. Most of the seating is on the patio, while the indoor dining room seemed fairly small. Even on a warm Father's Day evening, the outdoor seating was surprisingly comfortable. We'll definitely be back, and next time I'll be ordering that cornbread all over again.

You can feel the history there and but don't judge it on its aesthetics. It may look a little run down, but the food and service make up for it. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome by the host. The menu was pretty easy to navigate but I had heard this place was known for their fried chicken. So of course I had to get the half bird. The chicken was juice and crispy. I loved that the batter was light but not oily. What really surprised me was the waffle. I normally don't like waffles but this waffle was AMAZING. Literally one of the best waffles I've ever had in my life. I just love that Day Day's felt like a home cooked meal rather than a gimmicky experience. I will note that they do not take card here. They do take cash and Zelle, so be prepared for that. Other than that, I had an amazing time.

Okay, I want to make it clear that I am not her to frivolously review a neighborhood restaurant…read more Small businesses are the backbone of our country, specially important and black, woman and minority owned. So here's my good and not so good. Good: the service here is amazing, friendly attentive and I watched every dine in customer receive extraordinary care. The portion sizes are huge and the whole restaurant felt like you were in someone's own kitchen on a weekend morning with all of the right smells in the air for a great brunch. Here's the not so good: it took 4 minutes shy of an hour to get lunch for 2 (2 order of chicken tenders, side of red beans and rice and an order of hush puppies ) prepared. Although the booths were full, most of the tables had their food, so it didn't appear to be a lot of tickets stacked up. When my order was finally delivered, and I took the10 minute drive back home, I opened the bag to fund 3 brown paper bags, wet, soggy and soaking in grease. Because the food hadn't been allowed to cool a bit and it was placed in a plastic bag with no way to vent out steam, every item was soggy and falling apart. The fries were wet and soggy, the chicken had all of the dry coat falling off and most the seasoning was pulled off of the batter that was left because of the water and steam. Additionally, the red beans and rice were so wet, they were almost soup. One of the orders had potato salad as a side, but to received overcooked soggy fries instead. The hush puppies were way over cooked, they had passed the golden brown cook level and were a black brown color and were sort of flavorless and really soggy from the heat of the plastic bag. I'm sure that most of this could have been avoided if I hadn't placed a to go order. But I'm leaving this review so that when you order from this little gem, you consider dining in or asking for the foot with plenty of lead time so that they don't rush, improperly pack the food for transit (let it cool off a bit) and have the time to make sure the order is correct, and cooked to a standard that best represents the business. Pomona needs Day-Days as a locally owned, black owned soul food restaurant. Switching from plastic to paper bags and giving the food time to vent will go a long way with quality for the customer. In the end the food tasked good, I'm sure was prepared with love, but fell flat on the delivery. All of that said, patronize this restaurant!!!!
