They responded quickly and set up and appointment for Jim to visit. When Jim arrived, I explained what I wanted and he got it - no monkeying around. Within an hour, I had a quote which I promptly approved and we were off to the races. Jim gave me an install date about a week out - he had to order pavers or it may have been even faster. A week was fine though. On install day, Jim and the crew showed up and got right to work. Two days later, my vision realized, the work was complete. My backyard looks awesome! Here's what I liked about the my dealings with Earth Design: Jim was on time, great communicator, listened to what I wanted and executed the plan flawlessly. Crew was great. Hard working, respectful of my property, performed high quality work and cleaned up after they were done. Quality of turf is excellent (I purchased a very realistic looking, high quality turf.) Nice design. I showed Jim a photo of what I was thinking and he knew what I was looking for and it turned out GREAT! It's been almost a year and the turf has held up extremely well, no matting or turf coming up. *Of note, I have three small dogs that use the yard, but I spray with Simple Green Outdoor Odor eliminator weekly in warmer weather, bi-weekly in cooler weather - no smelly yard. I called Earth Design and Owen came out for an estimate. Owen is professional, knowledgeable, punctual and answered all of the questions I had. The work crew is really good and these guys are experienced. They all seem happy working and minding their own business. They knocked out the work in the amount of time they say they will. My lawn was 90% weeds by the time I had realized that I needed professional help reclaiming what the weeds have stolen from me: my sanity and some much needed curb appeal. Guadalupe and his crew were very prompt with answering my call for help. I've learned with time that most contractors are terrible communicators; Guadalupe and Casa Verde proved to be an exception to the rule rather than the norm. He updated me each day on the progress of the project and showed up on time each day. He and his crew cleaned up every day as well. As the project sort of evolved , he was very very very accommodating towards my limited budget. He worked with what I was able to spend and even went above and beyond by planting new plants in our planters and setting up automatic watering for us. They also added stepping stones to the lawn and made everything mesh and look really good together. He also redid the drains from the planter (a previous contractor didn't do a good job with that so Guadalupe went ahead and fixed it on his own volition.) it felt like he ultimately prioritized getting a good job done over making as much money as possible. You can tell that he cares and takes pride in his work. My neighbors noticed that he and his crew were very diligent with their work too. Because I had a poor experience with another turf company years ago, I did a ton of research on which product would be the most ideal for my needs, and this time I found Cocoturf and met it's proprietor, Olivier. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. I called as a cold lead just after finding the website, explained my needs, and Olivier came out to meet me, see the main project, brought a ton of samples, and made the perfect recommendation for my needs. He's a great guy, I felt that he cared about the product that he sold me, and he's extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of turf. Sean was very patient with questions and my suggested modifications, and was very quick with responses - both before and during the installation. Price wasn't the lowest, but was far from the highest of the quotes we got, and there was no hard sell (unlike a few others). The crew was quick and very courteous, and did a great job of cleaning up everything before they left.
