Went for a buffet... taste was mixed... some tasted extremely well, some ok and some were below average. Place is little mismanaged on a weekend buffet as it gets crowded. You have to line up and many of the food trays will be left with either no food or just gravy. Goat dishes tasted weird. read more

Amazing flavorful food. The owner, chef, and staff know what they are doing. Food is flavorful and allows for the flavors that Indian food is actually famous for. In the US, some morons have promoted that Indian food is "Spicyyyyyy". I have never found Indian food in India to be spicy. On the contrary the 100s of spices create a medley of tastes that one can savor. Golconda has that! Kudos to the owner and the chef, the staff is amazing. Went for the weekend lunch buffet. It was delicious. So many options so you can try everything and find out what you like. Appetizers, sauces, rice, so many entrees, and desserts. They bring Nan to your table. They keep everything warm & keep refilling so nothing ever runs out. The food was so flavorful. I was very happy with the spice level (I feel like other places cut back on seasoning and spices). I highly recommend this place if you want real authentic Indian food. Have to admit the Veg Dum biryani was full of flavor but very dry. Thanks to the Zalam ...it blended well. Basic cultural decency needs a lot of improvement. Myself and wife were the only one dining. No one else. The owner/manager was so busy entertaining his friends in the bar talking so loudly in local lang (its Telegu) and partying. We felt so isolated and I had to literally raise my hands to fetch attention also had to walk to the bar to ask for the check. It's absolutely ridiculous how they claim service is their differentiator. Desi Restraunt's like Chinese always let our guards down. Italian Restraunt's on the other hand are always on their top guard. This desi culture kills good Indian Restraunt's with hospitality experience. 5 stars for the cook and our server though. read more

The buffet had an broad selection of food, and was well stocked. The dosa station at the end of the buffet had a line, but it was well worth the wait. I have been to Golconda twice with my sister around lunchtime on Fridays. Each time I found the food to be excellent. I've had the Butter Chicken, the Gongura Chicken, the Chicken Korma, Samosas, and Veggie Spring Rolls which had a nice tang to them. I enjoyed them all. The restaurant was not too busy at either lunch time while we visited. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. I recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food. read more
