Highly recommend this practice. I made an emergency Sunday appointment at Gold Coast Dental in Glendale when I cracked a molar on a popcorn kernel. It was the only practice that advertised weekend care that actually picked up the phone when I called the day before. I was nervous about going to a new dentist, but it was smooth from top to bottom. Dr. Aaron was very attentive and gentle. He determined that I needed a root canal and laid out my options clearly. This included him doing the work himself, but he noted that there were root canal specialists and I could afford to wait a few days. He didn't push me to have the work done then and there. Both my dentist and the specialist who performed the root canal said Dr. Aaron had done a good job with the temporary filling he gave me. I definitely made the right choice. read more

My normal dentist wasn't open and I needed an emergency extraction. They took me in right away and Dr Corey took out the tooth. He was super nice and made the process really easy. While dental work always sucks and is painful, the team did what they can to make me as comfortable as possible. The whole staff goes above and beyond beyond. So happy I found a new dentist. For years I neglected my oral health but due to circumstances I was in need of a dentist. I was able to get a same-day emergency dental appointment for my mom who was experiencing gum pain and a swollen cheek. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and give her the correct treatment. We then had a follow up visit two weeks later and her gums are healing, the pain is gone as well as the swelling. Dr.Caroline was really very nice, Obviously no one wants to get dental work done and I had to but she was quite informative and knowledgeable and they had all this cool new technology that saw that I needed work done so I'm really grateful she was able to help me with preventative measures. Let's start by saying I was really scared to get my tooth extracted but I was reassured I was in the best care, really helped when the manger Christian and Marco helped me as I was already in tears. I got called in and the dental assistant Maggie help me calm my nerves even more, that I was SO thankful for the distraction. Best part was Dr Corey Elias, he knows his stuff, made sure I didn't feel a thing at all but slight pressure and some cracking. I was shocked how fast everything was very smooth. Update: THIS OFFICE SCAMS! they charged me for TWO X-rays I never received and I had to file a grievance w delta dental. Below is my original review I wrote on google 7/4/25. Now 4 months later I'm seeing a bill for not just one xray I never received but two. I reported them for false claims. Another review mentioned not to trust Christian and I have to agree. He completely contradicted what another person in the office told me. He also kept referring to the dentist I had an appt with as "his dentist". He said say "I'm not going to let my dentist, I won't allow "my dentist". He was speaking about a grown professional woman like she was his dog. When I asked him to double check w her he asserts himself and announces my name is Christian I am the manager like a kid proclaiming he's king of a dirt hill. Relax. I'm just clarifying something bc YOUR office that YOU "manage" gave me completely wrong information. I left, called another dentist, who could see me right away and confirmed they can use my recent X-rays from another dental office. Yes all of this bc he refused to use another dental offices brand new X-rays. Which is fine if that's your personal protocol, just train your staff better and start referring to ppl as humans and not objects you control. I had such a great experience! I was really scared because i have not been to the dentist in a long time but from the moment i walked in the staff (Christian) was super friendly. When i was getting my x rays done, the dentist came in and asked the staff if they wanted something from coffee bean. She even asked me if i wanted something, lol. I appreciated seeing the doctor taking care of her staff. Dr Caroline was super gentle and kept reassuring me while i was doing my many procedures. And Maggie, her assistant, was excellent as well -- she held my hand during the numbing injections. I got a deep cleaning and my teeth look very nice. I was so grateful that they were open on a Sunday and gave me a same day appointment. A crown came out and I wasn't able to eat or drink. My dentist said as long as the tooth was intact all they had to do was re-cement the crown. So I drove all the way to Glendale. Without any examination, the receptionist told me they would not re-cement the crown bc it's their "policy" not to do so. They managed to make a bad situation worse. I asked why they didn't tell me that on the phone before I made the appointment and drove all the way to Glendale. No response. Shady. read more

The most awful experience I've ever had at a dentist. First they take 90 minutes to do simple X-rays (they had to redo them twice because the tech didn't know what she was doing). Then I'm seen by this woman who I don't even think is a dentist there - she's not listed as DDS on their website, but I was told she was the dentist. She doesn't even give me a full examination before telling me I needed a crown, possible root canal, and my gums were pitted (none of which was true, nor visible on the x-ray). Super creepy vibe, I was the only patient in the whole office. Christian (the office manager) then came over after 90 minutes and told me one filling + a "deep cleaning" would cost me $845 out of pocket - AND they're in-network for my insurance, AND I'd called them beforehand to verify the insurance. They actually didn't run it through my insurance at all, but "discounted" $2,000 which "brought it down" to $845. Ended up going to another dentist in-network, and paid $80 for 3 fillings + a cleaning. DO NOT go here, the scammiest place I've ever seen in my life. read more

I was a former patient of Christian from Western Dental and he helped get situated with my HMO insurance for exam and cleaning. I was seen my Dr. Caroline and she educated me on what I needed to be done and was straightforward and kind. The dental assistant Ashley and Maritza made the process smooth.
