The staff at this office is friendly, reliable and excellent quality. This review is exclusively for the lobby/waiting area for the parents. We dread coming to this office due to the incredibly uncomfortable seats. As with all orthodontic offices, there is often a long wait. Unfortunately, the chairs in the waiting area break your back after about 15 minutes of sitting in them. ALL other staff at the location have comfortable seating except for the parents who are waiting and PAYING. I've heard it mentioned to the staff MANY many times over the years we've been coming here. We have five kids, so we'll never be done. But, I dread going there. The chairs are soooooo bad, that I considered changing orthodontists for our most recent child coming for braces. The chairs are THAT BAD. No one at the office seems to care. I have written feedback notes to the team, in order to not make this concern public, but they ignore. I definitely won't be returning when our last child is ready for braces. It seems odd that the office would care so little for the families coming with their kids. I needed braces as an adult and worked with Dr. Oh at the Orthodontic Studio. The result was everything I'd hoped for. I had a fairly complex case, and he was able to straighten my teeth in only 18 months, which went by quickly. They look great. He was kind, explained options and decisions well, and adapted the treatment to my needs (e.g., I declined having teeth extracted, and he was patient when my teeth were sensitive). My dentist said Dr. Oh did a fantastic job with my bite, and my teeth whitener guy said he did an exceptional job removing the adhesive for the braces. The appointments were efficient. I was referred to Dr Babaan by my dentist for a consult for my overbite. This was my third consult over the past few years. The other two suggested that at my age and my current dental condition, surgery is the only practical option to address my overbite (just by looking at an x-ray and a physical exam); however, my dentist suggested that I should see Dr Babaan for another consult. When I saw Dr Babaan at my free consult meeting, he looked at my teeth and suggested That I need to do series of objective tests such as scans and X-rays at a $450 cost, so he can give me my options. I asked him what my options are without doing the tests. He said, my options are either leave it alone, orthodontics or surgery. So after he charged me $450 for scans and X-rays, he told me that I have three options to treat my overbite; to leave it alone, orthodontics or surgery!!!! As a health care professional, I found Babaan's practice extremely unethical and unfair. I discussed this matter with my general dentist and he referred me to the 4th Ortho. The last ortho consult, just like the first two, diagnosed and advised me by just looking at my jaw and teeth. She told me, "any orthodontist should have a very practical idea as far as treatment options by just looking at the teeth and an X-ray". This was exactly what Babaan failed to do. I would strongly advise against doing any procedure with this office without getting other opinion/s. read more

Dr. Babban is the best! He put braces on my son about a year and a half ago and consistently provides quality care. He is gentle, thorough and fast. Oh and warm and caring! I really appreciate that he always provides clear explanations on what they are doing and why. Whenever a brace or wire breaks, they always make time for us to go immediately. Truly a great pleasure dealing with Dr. Babaan and the entire crew of The Orthodontic Studio! I've experienced a breath of fresh air when I first met Dr. Babaan at the 2013 Glendale Health Festival and decided to sign up for a complimentary consultation. I would highly recommend to go with an orthodontist who is more knowledgeable about braces and especially Invisalign, such as Dr. Babaan, instead of consulting a regular dentist. A regular dentist will provide you with the bare minimum and "out of the box" product that they are not that familiar with. However, an orthodontist will go an extra mile to make sure those braces are doing exactly what whey are supposed to do, without hurting you in the long run. Basically, smarter people tend to go to Dr. Babaan because they realize the difference. Also, Dr. Babaan's lovely staff explained different avenues of financing Invisalign, a priceless lifetime investment. How awesome is Dr. Babaan you ask?!?!? #1 in my books. I'm being treated by Dr. Babaan and I'm half way through my smile transformation. It's always been a sensitive subject for me. Dr. Babaan and his team is awesome. I had my braces on for just over 2 years (just got them off last week) and the whole process was smooth. They work with your schedule for your appointments, have easy payment plans and did I mention, they're awesome :). The office is welcoming and beautiful, Dr. Babaan answers all your questions, the whole staff is so friendly and nice. I was told my braces were coming off a little earlier than I had expected and while I was happy I was going to be able to finally chew gum and eat a snickers, I was so sad cause I wasn't going to be able to see everybody, who I felt over the years became more of friends, every month. It takes a lot for me to give out 5 stars (check out my other reviews--places I gave 1 star CLOSED DOWN so I know what I'm saying), and I was highly impressed with this place the minute we walked in. We were greeted with a smile and welcome as we entered. I felt like I was on Star Trek because the place looked so modern with high tech equipment. Most of all, it was impeccably clean. You could eat off the floor--that's how clean it was. We were given a tour of the ortho studio, sat down to fill out paperwork, and then entered another room for pictures to be taken. I was already impressed with the staff and the place, but I was blown away by Dr. Babaan. The guy is a class act. He was trained at New York University (new yawk baby). He could quit and focus on just training folks in healthcare about bedside manners--that's how great he was. From beginning to end, Dr. Babaan took his time to patiently explain the dental pictures, what options we could do and what options we can't or shouldn't do. YOU HEARD DAT RIGHT! I am always on the defense when dealing with people because all they want to do is scam you into buying stuff you don't need or making a bigger deal out of your tiny problem to make you feel bad or scared. Not here! Dr. Babaan answered every single question and made us feel comfortable. Most of all, we could trust him with our choppers. We instantly decided to proceed with him to do our dental work. We ended our appointment with a billing specialist who clearly explained the cost and broken down payment plans. They thanked us in the end and we left. Did you hear that? THEY thanked US. I mean, I've heard of friendly offices, but dayum, they were happier than unicorns eating rainbow ice cream! Oh, they have complimentary coffee too there if you want (we got 2 cups). Clean. Professional. Modern. Safe. Comfortable. Classy. Don't waste your time with another orthodontist who is going to scam you into dropping $$$$ for work you don't need. Today both of my daughters (aged 7) got their braces by Dr. Babaan and we couldn't be happier with the experience. First, let me boast about the wonderful staff that Dr. Babaan has surrounded himself with. From the very first phone call, to the few times we have gone in before today, all the girls have been a delight-professional, friendly, sincere and genuine. I cannot say enough how happy we are with Dr. Baban and his great team. From the first visit, I knew my daughter is in good hands. He shows utmost care with his patients and I noticed it from day one ... when my daughter told him that she hates mint flavored toothpaste. I feel compelled to leave this review due to the amazing care provided at this office. Dr. Babaan is one of the best healthcare providers of any kind that I have ever encountered. I've had very crooked teeth for a long time so, finally, at 37 years old I decided to seek treatment. My dentist at the time gave me a quote, but seemed rushed and not that interested in discussing a treatment plan. I really wanted a specialist who would be thorough and professional. Dr. Babaan takes the time to listen and explain everything. He puts you at ease because he is just a genuinely nice person who has obviously mastered his chosen profession. Also, he has such integrity- he is up front and honest. He is not rude if you question a choice he makes; instead he explains his reasoning and asks if you're comfortable with that. He has personally responded to out of office questions I've had several times. His office is incredibly safe and clean and they have great policies in place to protect everyone.
