Matcha was so good. Color was perfect. The barista was super proud of that COLOR ugh she slayed and was so nice. I love that they have outdoor seating so that my pup and I can sip outside and enjoy the weather. I have to try the loukoumades next time! Edit: came back 2 days later for another matcha mm MM I love her so much. I got the loukoumades and it was a true sweet treat. The barista made them fresh so they were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and when you dip them in that syrup ouuuuu that'll do it. 10/10 no notes.

So delightful! I will crave Greek donuts for the rest of my days tbh. I thought they would be overwhelmingly sweet but was so pleasantly surprised when they were mildly sweet and fried to perfection with a soft inside and a light crunch on the outside. All of the sweetness came from the fact that they were drenched in a generous portion of delicious honey. Mine were made fresh and they were amazing warm, especially on a chilly day. Order at the counter. The gals working there were cute and friendly. The space itself is small and it seems many people take it to go, but they do have a few tables and a high top counter. Enough room for 3 or 4 parties I would say. If you can't snag a spot, they're located right by Astoria park and these babies would be lovely to take for a stroll.

I loved this. If I want to go somewhere to depression eat and put myself in a diabetic coma, this is the place. It's just a damn shame I don't live in NY anymore because this would be a part of my weekly rotation. Only thing I'd complain about is having a little too much ice in my iced coffee but no one really gets that right for me anyway.

We were looking for a churro place and Im goad we found Gold n Honey cause they made really good sweets! The churro loukoumade was delicious ! They were super nice! We ordered the Dulce de leche one too for home and even tho they were about to close they gave us extra Loukoumades for the take out order! I would definitely recommend this place after a nice walk in the park We also tried the Hot Matcha and it was okay!

Stopped by this small, cozy coffee shop with some friends, and it was the perfect place to hang out. They have a few chairs outside where you can wait or chat, which was a nice touch. We ordered their famous Loukoumades (they're like Greek-style donuts), and wow--definitely worth the hype! We got ours with chocolate and strawberry toppings. Keep in mind, you'll need to wait about 10 minutes for your order, but trust me, it's totally worth it. They come out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The portions are HUGE too--8 Loukoumades were more than enough to share between two people, especially with a coffee or tea on the side. The staff was super friendly, and the location is great if you're in the area, just a short walk from Astoria Park. Perfect spot to grab something sweet before or after a stroll in the park. Highly recommend!

Loukoumades. OKAY. Believe it or not I've never had Loukoumades before and have nothing to compare them against. Sure I like a fried piece of Dough but the Loukoumades were not worth it with a Box of 8 costing $6.50. Adding Nutella, Walnuts, Pistachios and other Toppings to the Loukoumades will cost you more. Also had a sweetened Black Coffee with my order. WALK DON'T RUN.

Been wanting to try Gold N Honey for a while. I really loved the crunchiness of the Loukoumades with Honey, the walnuts really make a difference. Definitely giving this place a try again. Would love to try other flavors

Deluxe Sweet Loukoumades (~$8).

Ordered: Deluxe Sweet Loukoumades (~$8): Loukoumades with milk chocolate, white chocolate, Biskotti, and fresh strawberries Aya's take: Fried, sweet, and soft. A great and messy dessert. Only thing is I wish more of their options already came with fresh fruit or that they had more than just strawberries. Great addition to the Astoria area!

Wow. The only sole Loukamades spot in astoria. The menu is short and sweet and let me tell you so are the loukamades! I tried a few of them and they were all absolutely delicious. They're filled with nutella, i was blown away. The sizes are just enough, not too much and not too little. The nutella cappuccino was also delicious. I do have the say the espresso was not that good, please change it. Overall a great experience - there's some seats inside and a lot of outdoor space including benches wrapped around the tree. 10/10!!!!!

This place is ABSOLUTELY INSANELY AMAZING! The loukoumades are literally the best I've ever had IM IN HEAVEN. So so beyond delicious best dessert ever

sweet loukoumades (great!), nutella cappuccino (so good), and iced latte (good)

Great dessert spot! Came here with my boyfriend and we shared the Sweet Loukoumades, which were amazing! They had a great chewy texture and the Nutella dressing on top added the perfect amount of sweetness. Washed down with an Iced Latte and I was good to go. I got to try the Nutella Cappuccino that my boyfriend got and it was really good. Quite sweet but delicious. Definitely worth the visit!

First time trying loukoumades with my friend and they were delicious. We had the chocolate and pistachios toppings and it was so sweet and the nuts and chocolate had a great contrast. The loukoumades were quite chewy and really warm. I would def recommend this place as a delicious local dessert spot. The service was great and quick and the staff was super friendly! The ambiance of the restaurant is that of a fast casual dessert spot. There's also a nice front patio with outdoor seating.

Nothing bad to say about loukoumades! We get our favorite 20 piece served with Strawberries and Nutella. So airy, fluffy, crunchy in places. Its a textural party in your mouth. Didn't think to take a pic before diving in.

If we wanted to get a table in the main dining room, the wait was estimated to be over 2 hours (we went around 8pm), so I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to go. The staff were very quick with service and very friendly. We were offered toasty bread with some lemon and an olive spread while we waited for our food (which also came out super quick!). We ordered the octopus and lamb chops. The octopus was incredibly tender, the meat was very soft - I personally would've preferred a little more bite to it, but it still tasted good. The lamb chops were flavorful. The medium here is on par with medium rare at most other places, and one of our pieces was borderline rare. At the end of the meal we were also offered complementary desert, which was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our meal overall, but just know that it's a little on the pricey. The octopus and lamb chops came out to $80~ pre-tax and tip. Would recommend if you're a fan of seafood!

The fried smelt was very disappointing, no flavor no crunch on the outside. I was told that the scallops and the shrimp were great. They looked great. The appetizers we disappointing. The babaganoush, the tahini, the beets, the eggplant and the salad all lacked flavor. The bread was just heated up pocket pita... the mint limeade was fine. The fries were fine. The service was very attentive, and the decor cute.

I recommend booking a RVSP for their indoor garden area if possible as that portion of the restaurant is stunning (pic included). Nonetheless, both their regular indoor and indoor garden area is very reminiscent of Greece. Service was great. We got their fried calamari, dakos salad, spinach pie, and safritos. Everything was great. While I thought that their fried calamari and spinach pie was pretty standard, I truly enjoyed their safritos and dakos salad. Their safritos beef shoulder was so tender and you had the option to eat it with beans, lemon potatoes, or fries. We chose their lemon potatoes and thought that it paired so well. Their dakos salad was also light, refreshing, but so flavorful. Amazing meal and probably my favorite Greek restaurant in NYC.

He mentioned grilled meats, fish, and modifications that could be done to sauces to make them gluten free. One big difference I noticed on this visit was that there is no longer the kerasma / treat offered at the end of your meal of the portokalopita or gluten free yogurt with orange syrup, so that was a bummer. The change in portions is also noticeable, particularly from the Sofrito having less meat on the plate. But, the food is very tasty and presented well! I can easily eat their Greek salad and Octopus & fava on repeat.

It is a quaint, dare I say charming, supremely authentic Greek spot (#1). You know those Eastern European restaurants that don't get a ton of traffic on the weekdays but host all sorts of private parties for families and various local gatherings on the weekends? That's a bit how this place is: old school vibe, motherland approved. Maybe I lucked out each time while dining and and doing take out, but the food has been really good each time. I am hooked on their kolokithokeftedes (fried zucchini balls) and literally cannot stop ordering their moussaka or pasticcio. The roasted lamb is divine and their sheftalia (pork and lamb sausage) is as juicy as it is tasty. Even rhe spanokopita is good. Their seafood selection is also excellent and I appreciate they have their own take on cyprus mezzes. Service has been kind and their delivery js on point. Everything was solid and great for sharing. We also got grilled octopus as an appetizer -- super tender and really well done. For my main, I had the grilled deboned red snapper -- absolutely delicious. It came with a creamy lemon sauce on the side that you can pour over the fish, plus oregano fries and grilled vegetables. The veggies were amazing, especially the grilled onions that just melted in your mouth. We also ordered takeout: kefte kebab with fries, which was maybe smaller portion but it was good flavor. Drinks at the bar beforehand were also a highlight -- sangria and a gin, lavender, elderflower, cucumber cocktail that my grandma actually loved.
