They have small desserts (truffles, mini cannolis, bite sizes pastries) as well as larger slices, tarts, and mini pies. Tried the Oreo Mousse and the Chocolate Strawberry Mousse at this location, but have had other desserts from the Oasis in Bayside. Never had one I didn't like. Also, one dessert is enough for two people to share--delicious but super sweet. They offer different coffees and teas. We love the Strawberry White Tea Refresher and the Peach Green Tea Refresher. Soo refreshing! The workers are also very helpful and patient. They'll ask for your preferences and give you suggestions on what you may like. Oasis Café's third storefront in New York recently opened this week in Astoria. I've never been to their other locations in Flushing and Manhattan but decided to check out the one in Astoria. I had heard they had amazing coffee, but I was mainly coming for their Greek/European pastries. The interior is small, but décor makes it so bright and cheerful. Baked goods are nicely presented in cases, along the wall and behind the counter. Everything looked so good, but I noticed that there weren't prices posted anywhere. If you have their app on your phone or go online to their website, I guess you can find out the prices that way. For me I would rather the price be easily accessible on a menu or next to the items. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. They were offering very generous samples to everyone that came in. I ended up getting some Amygdalota cookies (Greek Almond cookies- $1.50 each), Whipped Mousse Strawberry Short Cake ($7), and a Chocolate Cookie ($3.50). All were great but my favorite was the Amygdalota cookies. It had a nice soft crunchy exterior and chewy middle. It was slightly sweet and very addicting. Some of the items were pricier than what I was expecting but luckily everything I got was tasty, so I wasn't too put off. I didn't try any of their coffees during this visit but will the next time around. There are some outdoor standing bar tables, but it does get quite noisy outside since they are located right next to the elevated trains. I do really appreciate that they have extended hours and are open very early (7:30am) and close late (around 12am most days). I will definitely be back to try more of their Greek pastries and Cold Brew Cans. read more

I am so excited to have a local Oasis, I'm a big fan of the OG location in bayside & the 2nd location in the the city! The place itself is so aesthetically pleasing, all the desserts are placed right in-front & it is so hard to resist! I have already visited a couple of times (oops) I tried the assortment of Greek cookies (melomakarona are my fav), tiramisu & decided to try something new called the "opera cake". When I tell you .. it was one of the most freshest & tastiest slice of cake I've had in so long.. the almond sponge, coffee & chocolate ganache just compliment each-other SO WELL. We ordered a birthday cake a month ago for my daughter's 1st birthday. When we picked it up on the day of the party we saw gold leaves on two sides of the cake and a black minnie face missing. When I called the manager he said it was a decor and if i dont like it to remove it myself. When I removed it I saw the cake had a line which looked messed up. I was persistent as to what happened and they all tried to come up with excuses and then one of the guys who made it told me someone touched it by accident when he left it and he apologized for messing up the cake. He made an extra black minnie face which my husband picked up on the same day. One of the guys told me he will make another cake for free because of their mistake. Since it was around Easter time I suggested to have an Easter theme instead of the same cake again. I texted the manager and he was not responding. I stopped by in person to the store and gave him a picture of the cake I want. I gave them 1 full month to make it. When my husband went to pick it up the guy played dumb that he was not notified to make this cake. I texted the manager who was again not responding. When I called the store again the manager was not around. One of the guys was like "we wont make you a $500 cake for free" and that i was only supposed to get a regular cake. Nobody asked for a $500 cake and sure I wasnt going to get a regular cake from the store. I called twice to speak to the owner but he did not return my calls. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. They ruined my daughter's birthday cake. They all played dumb at the end and avoid my calls and texts. I do not want a regular cake! That was not the deal. I want someone to call me and give me a full refund asap. I will never order anything from this place again. read more

We ordered a few options to share: Dulce de Leche Cheesecake - I am so picky with my cheesecakes, but this one was made to perfection. There was just a tiny bit of tartness, but otherwise filled with so much flavor Chocolate Raspberry Mouse Cake - Divine flavor and simply sublime. The flavor of the lemon is really delightful, it isn't overpowering and the sweet and tart ratio makes it the perfect dessert. Their "milky tart" was surprising! A yummy euro pastry shop in Astoria that's small in interior space but huge in its assortment of delicious euro pastries from baklava , tarts , slices of different pies , croissants , eclairs, cannolis, almond cookies, Greek sweets and more . Stopped by with cuz and grabbed a dozen of different sweets and while he grabbed a seat outside enjoying his coffee and eclair , I was browsing the display cases with all the goodies until I was able to make my selections . The train flying by can be a little annoying when you are outside enjoying your sweets but the tasty sweets makes you forget that very fast . Not in a main area of Astoria but worth the visit without a doubt . 4.5 stars on my yelp meter . New Greek Cafe As it happened, the N train was working, so I walked to them. OASIS is a Greek coffee shop located at 3507 31st Street. They are at the old location, which was Under Pressure. The cafe has a much smaller layout, but the desserts looked delicious in their displays with very few gaps. There is no seating inside, just two tables outside. I ordered my first hot chocolate of the year with marshmallows and a raspberry tart The tart was not too sweet and the raspberry flavor stood out. Total cost approx $9.50 My Rating would be 4.5 stars, but alas, I have to rate it at 4. The ambiance needs a little more work Perhaps one or two indoor tables might work? read more

I was amazed that this turned into an Oasis cafe!! I'm so happy they expanded to Astoria, as I am a returning customer to the one in Bayside. The service is friendly and they will manage to put a smile on your face!! My friend and I shared a caramel cheesecake and chatted outside where there was seating. I do warn you, the train is right there so you might be screaming at each other haha. Overall, the desserts have a variety even though it is quite small. Sadly, I would not recommend relying on Oasis Cafe for an event. We ordered and paid for a two-tier cake for our wedding day a month in advance. Two days before our wedding we reconfirmed the cake delivery time with both the bakery location and the individual that we placed the order with. The cake arrived to our wedding reception 5 hours late, and 2 hours after they were informed of the issue and were persistently chased by our wedding coordinator. Not only was it late arriving but it arrived unfinished and completely frozen. It was iced with whipped cream instead of frosting, which was soggy, melted down the sides during delivery and had to be repiped upon arrival. When my husband and I cut the cake in front of our guests we couldn't get a knife through it as it was frozen solid, and the kitchen at our venue had to use a butcher's knife to slice it. We had several pre-ordered deliveries and pickups that day, and Oasis Cafe was the only business that we worked with that failed to fulfill the order. The woman we spoke with at the Astoria location during our reception to inform them that the order had not arrived was incredibly rude and difficult to work with in rectifying the issue, which caused unnecessary stress during our wedding reception. Oasis Cafe apologized and quickly issued a full refund. We will not be giving them our business in the future. read more
