4/5 Passionfruit smoothie- really good- sour 3/5 Strawberry matcha- strawberry too sweet, hard to mix, can use more matcha 3/5 lemon yuzu tart- too sweet, expected sour 3/5 pistachio cake- all layers too sweet, esp white chocolate shell

We ordered a birthday cake a month ago for my daughter's 1st birthday. When we picked it up on the day of the party we saw gold leaves on two sides of the cake and a black minnie face missing. When I called the manager he said it was a decor and if i dont like it to remove it myself. When I removed it I saw the cake had a line which looked messed up. I was persistent as to what happened and they all tried to come up with excuses and then one of the guys who made it told me someone touched it by accident when he left it and he apologized for messing up the cake. He made an extra black minnie face which my husband picked up on the same day. One of the guys told me he will make another cake for free because of their mistake. Since it was around Easter time I suggested to have an Easter theme instead of the same cake again. I texted the manager and he was not responding. I stopped by in person to the store and gave him a picture of the cake I want. I gave them 1 full month to make it. When my husband went to pick it up the guy played dumb that he was not notified to make this cake. I texted the manager who was again not responding. When I called the store again the manager was not around. One of the guys was like "we wont make you a $500 cake for free" and that i was only supposed to get a regular cake. Nobody asked for a $500 cake and sure I wasnt going to get a regular cake from the store. I called twice to speak to the owner but he did not return my calls. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. They ruined my daughter's birthday cake. They all played dumb at the end and avoid my calls and texts. I do not want a regular cake! That was not the deal. I want someone to call me and give me a full refund asap. I will never order anything from this place again.

Ate here today during brunch today while working as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q. I had brought the berry napoleon cake slice and drink of iced cold berry hibiscus tea that it tasted super good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and pleasant. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time.

Ordered delivery a few times, didn't take pictures from the pervious times but the chocolate perfection tart is just that it's really delicious and the best thing I've had from oasis. In this picture is the black Forrest and the pecan amour both are good but the pecan won me over it had the deeper flavor and I couldn't stop eating it.

Crème brûlée

There's nothing like ending a day of cafe hopping with a sweet treat, and that's exactly what my friend and I did at Oasis Cafe during our study session in Astoria. As our last stop of the day, it was the perfect sweet ending. We arrived in the evening, yet the variety of sweets still available was incredible. I felt like a kid in a candy store as I gazed through the glass showcase filled with tempting options. I couldn't resist trying their crème brûlée, and it absolutely hit the spot. My friend went for one of their drinks, and it was nothing short of amazing. The only downside is the limited indoor seating, though they do have outdoor options. This makes it a bit tricky as a study spot, but if you're looking to indulge your sweet tooth, Oasis Cafe is a must-visit.

Delivery experience: My boyfriend placed this order from across the country to have a spread of baklava related sweets for my birthday I had previously never heard of Oasis cafe until they showed up as a surprise at my door, and I wanted to report that we will be back (I say will because we're making it a point to visit Oasis cafe when he comes to visit me). I've never heard of a baklava cheesecake and my mind and taste buds were blown! Everything was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and we both hope to be physically visiting soon!

Small Iced Matcha Latte (~$7)

Ordered: Small Iced White Chocolate Mocha (~$5): with oat milk (+$1) Small Iced Matcha Latte (~$6): with oat milk (+$1) Aya's take: After the great experience I had my first visit here and in an effort to support local businesses, I found myself back at Oasis! I have to say the service is quick and efficient and I like the variety their menu offers. The Iced White Chocolate Mocha was delicious! The sweetness of the white chocolate mocha balanced the espresso, and the oat milk made it super creamy. The Iced Matcha Latte was also pretty solid; the powder they use comes sweetened already so I wouldn't suggest adding anything else to it. 2 great tries, and I will likely come back!

LOVE this bakery only extension of the Bayside location! The desserts always hit. They have small desserts (truffles, mini cannolis, bite sizes pastries) as well as larger slices, tarts, and mini pies. Tried the Oreo Mousse and the Chocolate Strawberry Mousse at this location, but have had other desserts from the Oasis in Bayside. Never had one I didn't like. Also, one dessert is enough for two people to share--delicious but super sweet. They offer different coffees and teas. We love the Strawberry White Tea Refresher and the Peach Green Tea Refresher. Soo refreshing! The workers are also very helpful and patient. They'll ask for your preferences and give you suggestions on what you may like. There are two tables for 2 inside the shop and a few tables outside.

Oasis Café's third storefront in New York recently opened this week in Astoria. I've never been to their other locations in Flushing and Manhattan but decided to check out the one in Astoria. I had heard they had amazing coffee, but I was mainly coming for their Greek/European pastries. The interior is small, but décor makes it so bright and cheerful. Baked goods are nicely presented in cases, along the wall and behind the counter. Everything looked so good, but I noticed that there weren't prices posted anywhere. If you have their app on your phone or go online to their website, I guess you can find out the prices that way. For me I would rather the price be easily accessible on a menu or next to the items. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. They were offering very generous samples to everyone that came in. I ended up getting some Amygdalota cookies (Greek Almond cookies- $1.50 each), Whipped Mousse Strawberry Short Cake ($7), and a Chocolate Cookie ($3.50). All were great but my favorite was the Amygdalota cookies. It had a nice soft crunchy exterior and chewy middle. It was slightly sweet and very addicting. Some of the items were pricier than what I was expecting but luckily everything I got was tasty, so I wasn't too put off. I didn't try any of their coffees during this visit but will the next time around. There are some outdoor standing bar tables, but it does get quite noisy outside since they are located right next to the elevated trains. I do really appreciate that they have extended hours and are open very early (7:30am) and close late (around 12am most days). I will definitely be back to try more of their Greek pastries and Cold Brew Cans.

I am so excited to have a local Oasis, I'm a big fan of the OG location in bayside & the 2nd location in the the city! The place itself is so aesthetically pleasing, all the desserts are placed right in-front & it is so hard to resist! I have already visited a couple of times (oops) I tried the assortment of Greek cookies (melomakarona are my fav), tiramisu & decided to try something new called the "opera cake". When I tell you .. it was one of the most freshest & tastiest slice of cake I've had in so long.. the almond sponge, coffee & chocolate ganache just compliment each-other SO WELL. Also, don't hesitate to grab a biscotti (they always hit) & try out all the different coffee's. This will def be my go-to

The beautifully designed decor is an eye opener Aromas just really draws you to a display counter and racks of the best assortments of bakery delights And various assorted types of coffees latte's cold brews, all types of milk and exotic specialities The manager Stamatis and all the staff was very polite and gave samples of the various specialities The complimentary treats was given with the service and a smile . I definitely will be making another visit to order my special birthday cake. This is a Greek owned family business in the Heart of Astoria Queens with outdoor and indoor dining and parking

Berry Cream Cake.

Baked Goods. EXCELLENT. Ordered a Galaktoboureko and a Berry Cream Cake whose portions were huge. Both tasted GREAT. Pleasantly surprised 'cause I wasn't expecting the Berry Cream Cake to be loaded with so much Kreme Filling. RECOMMEND.

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.

The dessert is very smooth, barely a solid, and its ginger taste is very strong- which I like. Strong ginger but pairs well with the milk and good amount of sugar. It is a bit spicy but I like it this way. They do have a lot of other desserts as well as savory items on the menu. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier.
