We wanted the 3 Chinese zodiac animals incorporated into the cake, and she executed it in an amazing fashion (she hadn't done it before for her clients). Erika's professionalism shone through, as she not only crafted a stunning cake but also provided instructions on caring for it until the right moment--an above-and-beyond touch in my extremely humble opinion. We were so impressed that we returned to her for our baby's 1-year birthday (a significant occasion in Asian culture), and once again, she exceeded our expectations! My wife and I never had a single criticism of her work; it was always just "wow, this cake is perfect and how the heck did she do this." Erika is incredibly talented, professional, and personable. I highly, highly recommend choosing her for your special occasions. The taste matches the impeccable appearance, and I'm 100% certain we'll be turning to her for all our future cake (and cupcake, we haven't tested it out yet) needs!

Yay! They finally open the yelp account! I was waiting for this because it is the world best cake…read morethat I've ever tried. I went to my friend's b-day party last year and saw the cake by Peory L'atelier for the first time. I am neither a cake lover nor sweet tooth, so I am not interested to have cake at all. However, how can I not try to have a piece of cake while the appearance of cake is so gorgeous and fancy?! My friend told me the flower on the cake is also handmade EDIBLE BUTTERCREME, not fresh flowers. Before I tried a bite, I did not have any expectation about the flavor because I assumed it may be too sweet and buttery. But it was neither too sweet nor buttery. It was just perfectly and enoughly flavorful and mellow. I started to order cakes from here to celebrate special events, so my beloved ones also can try what I have experienced. They reply very fast once I submit the application and they also deliver occasionally depends on the date/time and location which is great! If you have not tried this cake, if you are not sweet tooth but want to have some cake, if you are a sweet tooth but want to try mellow and flavorful cake, and if you want to make celebration or your day more special, this cake is the one.

Saw huge logs of strudels,…read morelintzers, cannolis, butter cookies of all shapes and sizes and beautifully decorated special occasion cakes. This is not a place to get trendy or fusiony style things (bubble tea, matcha desserts) and they don't have vegan or gluten free goods. However the classics they make are solid. Had an Oreo cupcake. The batter was rich chocolate cake. The white cream icing had massed up Oreo cookies in it and a thick layer (removed some of it). A whole Oreo cookie sat on top of the piped icing. A good treat.

I stopped in last week for the first time in over 30 years and still the same delicious products. I had to get their infamous Pecan Bavarian ring cake ( see pic) which was so good. Grabbed a few pastries called Lobster Tails which is a crisp, shell-shaped Italian-American pastry with hundreds of paper-thin, flaky layers, resembling a lobster's tail. This version was filled with whipped cream ( as others are with French or custard cremes. ) Always a safe bet when you need good bake shop goods. Only thing off to me was on a recent Saturday afternoon there were only 2 clerks working and between the phone call orders and the 2 people in front of me it took almost 30 minutes to get a few items. Still worth the visit and I wasn't leaving without !

Small space, but the vibe is so on point--very Korean café…read moreaesthetic and super photogenic The hot matcha latte had the cutest latte art--clearly made with care Tried the traditional Korean tea dessert set--beautiful presentation (10/10 for photos), but some flavors (ginger, savory sesame, cinnamon) were a bit hard for me to get used to. My Korean friend said it's very authentic though! Soufflé pancakes took ~15 mins but came out soft and fluffy The fromage (matcha + chestnut) looked stunning, with a unique honeycomb-like topping Overall, a great spot to chill, catch up, and take cute pics. Sad the shaved ice machine was down--next time!

I would say Service is pretty nonexistent as you order on the counter and you see yourself with no waitressing. The cashier lady was also pretty rude and not accomodating to my request (make my drinks less sweet) so they lose a store for that. Atmosphere is cute and vibes are great, definitely has modern and traditional Korean vibes. However, I would not say that this is like a traditional tea house? Having been to A LOT of tea houses in Korea, their menu and concept is definitely far from what a traditional teahouse is like. For instance, a traditional teahouse would have assorted rice, cakes and traditional, Korean desserts, however, I feel like this place used modern French pastries, and put a Korean twist on them, which I would say is not very Korean in reality. Baked goods were OK. It tasted stale. Losing a star for that as well.
