Ordered the catfish and shrimp platter. I was disappointed by the portions. The 3 shrimp were the smaller than the size if a quarter, so about 50-60 per pound. The 2 fish filets were 3 inches long. When I bite into one, it was all fried corn mill. I peeled back the crust. The catfish was about 2 inches long and paper thin. Having owned a catfish farm, I estimate there was less than an ounce of catfish between the 2 filets. I followed the link on the receipt and reported my concern. I got a call from Miriam. She said she would replace the meal. After confirming when she would be at the store, I planned my return. I called that day to confirm what time she would arrive. I was told 4pm. Showed up at 4. Their tenders really shine in that they're juicy, crispy, and we'll spiced if you get the spicy version - maybe too spiced. The chicken is all hand breaded and complimented by wonderful sides. Seriously, they serve the best sides and rolls of any chain chicken joint. The rolls are perfectly buttery, the fries are just crisp enough, and even the dirty rice is good. Lunch can get busy here but you'll be waiting in a fast moving line. The interior is clean and spacious. It's an easy place to bring a fried for lunch or grab a quick bite alone. That changed today. We ordered the four piece tender Combo and a three piece chicken combo. Not the spicy versions. Both come with one side and a drink. We both chose fried okra. The okra is quite good. For that matter, the tenders are quite good. Nicely battered and not greasy. Same for the chicken pieces. Also, the plates come with a fresh hot roll. Sweet Hawaiian-like. Really good. The only mishap was there were no forks in the self-serve bins. Of course, when I asked, an employee came out and refilled the bin. They were underneath in a cabinet. If I'd of known... The employees are friendly and helpful. They do a big drive-through, come in and take to-go and curb delivery business. I'm glad we gave them a try. Go there. read more

It may have been the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. I thought I got it breaded, but then it looked grilled, but it turns out it was so lightly breaded it was like butter. The dirty rice was perfect, and the coleslaw was absolutely amazing. Good vinegar taste, yet not runny. Absolutely amazing meal. I will be back and 100% recommend. Because they won't let you add the sides at regular price on top of the $13.99. They charge you the family meal price. Wow. So this place definitely doesn't care if they give you the wrong order. We paid $40 bucks for our order and ended up with somebody else's $12 order. We called them to try to straighten out the situation and they stopped answering the phone. This is straight up theft. When I called to tell them about it they manager didn't offer any resolution to the issue and had nothing to say other than "I'll talk to me team. What do you want me to do about it?"
