They have exquisite burgers made with the freshest ingredients and a lot to choose from. They have burger meals with combo or without, hand spun milkshakes, cookies and all American goodies. I tried their Signature Cheeseburger and it was delicious! The presentation was beautiful and every corner of the restaurant is a nod to nostalgia from the 50's and 60's! If you have not been it's a unique building design reminiscent of the old style Happy Days burger joint. As always, P Terri's has the best tasting double meat cheeseburgers in my opinion. I get two of these as a lettuce wrap for lunch at each location I visit as my lunch and go back to work happy. Without a drink, I usually get water, i is just over $11 for a pound of beef. This location was a good experience. The staff was friendly and upbeat. My order was taken immediately upon getting to the counter and my food tasted excellent. That's another thing I like about this restaurant chain, the food is very consistent. I've yet to have a so so meal due to a staff off day. I went through the drive-thru, so I don't know what it looks like inside. However, the design of the burger stand from the outside looks pretty cool. It's kind of a futuristic design, to me. The service was nice too, the employees were very helpful and enthusiastic. I'm giving it 5 stars completely because of the food. This is the best burger I have ever had from a franchise, and it's one of the cheapest too! The ingredients all tasted fresh and the patty was well seasoned. The burger was not dry at all, it came with a good serving of toppings and a pretty thick patty. Each bite was just as good as the previous one, I loved it completely!! I also got their fries, they were good, but not my favorite. You still get a lot of fries tho, I almost thought I would not be able to finish my meal! Came here yesterday with my fiance. We had just an hour between appointments so we did not have much time so we decided to give this place a try. I didn't have any problem with finding parking. At the time we got in, there was no one else in line and we were able to be assisted immediately. We both ordered the Cheeseburger combo but I ordered mine without tomato. After we ordered, we found a seat and waited. They do have an outdoor seating area. All the seats seemed to be stacked inside at the time. Probably because it was raining at the time. We did not have to wait long for our food to be ready. They announced our number over the intercom. I went up to the counter and picked up the tray of food. On first note, they did not put tomato on my burger as I requested. I've seen many places get this wrong. The burger was tasty and the fries were crispy. I might not be a Michelin star burger but it was quick and convenient. I would recommend this place if you are looking to get a bite. read more

Todat I visited Stand #23 on Wurzbach in San Antonio. I was immediately greeted by "GUS B." Let me tell you, if this gentle giant isn't the manager or at least shift leEd he needs to be. So friendly, so professional and funny. Mind you my transaction lasted all of about 40 seconds, but I knew Gus was going to take care of me. I popped into the restroom, CLEAN AS ALWAYS, and as soon as I came out Gus recognized me again and let me know my shake was ready. In the only minute more I had to wait for my food I observed Gus kindly explaining the menu to a middle eastern family with a partial language barrier. Gus didn't even miss a beat, cheerfully and carefully answering their questions with the same attentiveness he offered me. 5 STARS, give Gus a raise! He and all the employees at that location are doing it RIGHT. Other fast food chains need to take note. read more

I'm not sure what is up with this particular p. Terrys but it consistently lacks the quality of others. The buns are consistently dry and stale. The fries are extra soggy. The shakes are almost liquid, and the service is very mediocre. Customers today were sweeping and bussing because there wasn't employees available. A pretty good burger for a pretty good price! I've visited this P. Terry's location a couple of times for a quick lunch and they're always super great, but P. Terry's in general has probably the most 'natural' tasting burger from a fast food chain I've had. The service here is quick, the employees are friendly, and the food is satisfying. The Hamburger patties themselves aren't too terribly thick but they make up for that in juiciness and meat quality. The Veggie Burgers are also quite nice and taste almost identical to a Hamburger, but the texture is just a little softer. The cheese on the burgers is good ol' American cheese and the veggies are never wilted or soggy. The burgers come with their Special Sauce which compliments the sandwiches really well, but you can ask for other condiments if you feel so inclined. Their sides and treats are pretty good too. The Fries are crispy, salty, and pretty addicting, and the Milkshakes are a little more on the average side but refreshing to drink, though their seasonal flavors are very fun to try. As for the desserts, the Banana Bread is surprisingly moist, fresh, and really tasty for a fast food joint that specializes in burgers, and the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies have just enough crunch and a satisfying chewiness to them. Meh. We recently moved to San Antonio and I've been wanting to check out P. Terry's after seeing them around town for the past several months. Unfortunately, it was not worth the wait. The place was maybe 75% full and they were clearly running behind tho only 3-4 cars were in the drive-thru. It was a 15-minute wait in between ordering and my food being ready at the counter. The Coke nozzle on the soda fountain was spitting out mostly foam so I wasn't surprised when the mixture / taste was off. It still hadn't been corrected when I left some 45 minutes later. When my order finally arrived, the fries were lukewarm and somewhat greasy. They looked like they'd been sitting for a while, but tasted okay. In contrast, my double cheeseburger looked and tasted great. But it was somewhat small when compared to what you get at Whataburger for the same price. And finally, the staff clearly don't practice their ABCs (aka Always Be Cleaning), as most of the tables were dirty and I had to pick the cleanest dirty table. All in all, not exactly a grand introduction to P. Terry's. That said, I really liked the burger and will give them another chance. But if the other shortcomings don't improve I'll move on to another spot. read more

I adore P. Terry's, so when my fam found ourselves hungry down in San Antonio, we swung by. The architecture for this one is quite striking-- the tall ceiling and long footprint is quite a lot more spacious inside than it appears from the outside. Lots of tables to sit at, as well as some outdoor deck seating (great for pets + a water bowl). The panes of glass let in tons of ambient outdoor light (they barely need the can lights in the ceiling during the day). Felt very fancy and modern (yet still a throwback to the 50's). The food of course was fantastic and ready quickly after we'd ordered. The fries were done to perfection and had ample delicious salt. I enjoyed crushed ice and ICB Rootbeer on tap from the soda fountain. The only improvements I can recommend are a more thorough cleaning of the indoor tables (some were a little messy from previous clientele) and enthusiasm from the employees. Most P. Terry's I've gone to have very happy employees, so I was a bit surprised these guys seemed a tad morose (maybe they were just having an off day though). When we were there one of the toilets had gotten clogged, but an employee was attending to it right away, which was great. They had two gender neutral restrooms, which I always appreciate. read more
