Saw the place when I went to pick up my subway order..lol. I saw a line out the door and decided the next time I wanted some Chinese food, I would try it out. Lucky for me it was quick and easy. LOVE THIS PLACE!! They give you huge portions (way more than Panda) and the food is always fresh. In fact, they've asked me to wait a few minutes in the past because they had new stuff coming right out. I was more than happy to wait an extra minute or two to get it. I've lived in the area for years and the quality is always consistent. They always hook it up and the pricing is always lower then the other chains. Living in Temescal Canyon does not offer many food choices, so when my wife said she spotted a Chinese food restaurant off Ontario Avenue, we spun the wheel of fortune and found a place disguised as a restaurant but actually is rubber mill that churns fool-like products drenched in traditional sauces. We asked for orange chicken and barbecue pork, something that should be heavy in rotation, hoping the meal would be fresh. Wrong! What we got was something that had the look and smell of Chinese food, but had the texture of a rubber dog toy hidden in 100 ml of sauces (maybe the sauces are a plasticizer, meant to to turn the resins softer). Drum roll, please So if you find yourself parked in Taco Bell's drive thru, and think to yourself 'hey Chinese food sounds good', my advice is to either grab the taco, or park and search Yelp for a restaurant with a higher rating. read more

I don't understand some of the positive reviews. Don't believe them. Food tastes bad. They give big portions but if it doesn't taste good then it doesn't matter. Everything is soooo salty, Kung pao chicken just tasted like only soy sauce for seasoning, orange chicken had a lot of breading and was soggy, bbq pork was dry and just gross. Why is are their chow neon noodles and fried rice so dark brown? I've gone to other places with less yelp ratings and it tastes so much better. Won't ever go back here. read more

A first impression is a lasting impression. For starters I found this restaurant on Yelp, there prices say one thing but when you go to the restaurant it's another, probably an honest mistake. Then when it came to pay for my food the cashier probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed ( a lady ) she reminds me of the owner of the nail salon on the series "Better Call Saul" extremely rude, when I paid she turned around and shood me away with the back of her hand! Great way to treat a paying customer I just chuckled & it would also be nice for them to announce / post the extra fee for using a credit / debit card, with the real fee providing full disclosure! The food I would have to say substandard with small portions. I believe the consumer should be treated with some level of respect, especially if you're ordering food from a dingy restaurant. lol read more

Have been searching for a good Chinese fast food place. After our normal places have gone down hill. This place has the best Chinese food ive had in awhile. They also have pork and beef which most places only have chicken. They also pile it on with huge portions. Top would barely stay closed and a decent price to top it off. Hands down this is my go to place for fast food Chinese food. Not sure what took me so long to Yelp this place but for the price, service, quantity and quality you won't be disappointed. Beside having there fast food items you can also order soups but be prepared to wait 15 min or call ahead. Even with covid they take precaution and wear mask. I used to love this place when I was a kid. Their shrimp fried rice was literally my favorite food. It's bland now and they don't even cover the shrimp with egg like they used to. Today I went in again and tried to order something different (like honey walnut shrimp or aromatic shrimp, staples at most Chinese places) but they don't have ANY breaded shrimp. I've never had a worse experience at a Chinese food place. Walking in the smell alone made me physically ill. My mother-in-law assured me the food was good. Perhaps it's time we talk to her doctor about possible senility as she couldn't have been more wrong. The person taking our order was as rude as can possibly be. She yelled at my husband for taking my order wrong, assured us twice she got it right, and yet it was wrong anyway. We watched her be insanely rude to those after us as well. Get a new order taker. The food I did get was a disgusting gelatinous pile of slop not good enough to feed to pigs. They don't require masks and had no problem with their restaurant being packed with selfish morons without masks. NEVER AGAIN. I'm not sure if they got a new cook or what but the food was disgusting and it made my husband and kids sick. I ended up trashing mine. The orange chicken had no flavor and was just crust. Im sad to have to leave this review but today the food was terrible. And it was also terrible 4 wks ago but i gave it another try even though the ladies were NOT the same I've been ordering from for the last 6 yrs. The bbq pork was awful and tough of which I've NEVER experienced from GC up until the last month. I had a hunch it was new owners but tonight am certain this is no longer "our" golden chopsticks. The one where you were greeted with a smile, fresh food ALWAYS no matter how close to closing you walked in and the bbq pork was moist and tender. The woman is not friendly and would not accommodate the customer in front of me or me for that matter and because of that I will no longer give them my business. Went there twice in last 2 weeks based on recommendation from a friend. Service okay/polite or nonexistant, with or without masks, depending who is working. Great authentic chinese fast food, makes it one of the best in Corona. I love pairing the fried rice with teriyaki chicken or brocolli and beef. So much flavor packed into each dish and for the cheap price of only $6! You get so much in your plate for the low price, too. I think one plate is big enough to feed 2 people or even have enough left overs for your next meal or two! And not to mention, the staff here is super friendly. My son and I went here tonight for the first time. We walked in and the tables were full (busy restaurant is a good sign) the two ladies working were very polite and helpful. HUGE portions. The customer service is great, the price was great, but the food was horrible! I ordered beef and broccoli and it was hard and didn't even taste good, the orange chicken I ordered was 90% breading not even chicken, the chow main was soggy and mushy, the rice and cream cheese wontons were the only good part of the meal. I decided to stop by for some Chow Mein, but they thought I said fried rice. I didn't realize that they were repeating fried rice back to me instead of Chow Mein due the wind and their accents. I realized there had been a communication error and made them aware. They told me that I had to take it because they made it spicy and no one would want it and they didn't offer to fix the order. They also denied me a refund. After they handed me the bag they just walked away from the window. While the order being wrong is disappointing, I'm more upset about the poor customer service despite the fact that I wasn't mean and I did not raise my voice. My favorite Chinese food in Corona!!! I always try to make sure I get there after the lunch crowd or right before dinner time that's when they are putting out all the very freshly made food. My favorite is the spicy chicken with string beans so wonderful but it is very spicy and the Jalapeño chicken wings. I've tried most all of the dishes in the case that are already prepared and they are delicious. The chicken egg rolls are very special I've never seen them anywhere else they never make it home I always eat them while they're hot in the car they are soooo good no sauce is needed. Everything is great especially the price!!! A large combo is $8.99 includes 3 entrees fried rice & noodles, it's a lot of food. Everyone who works there is so nice and they always remember you and want to know how you are, sweet ladies they work so hard! Thank you!! You don't need a full wallet to eat here but you will have a full stomach for sure. I don't really want to tell everyone about this place because I want it all for myself, but I want them to be very successful and maybe open more locations closer to me I drive pretty far for this food it's so good.
