Aisle of selectors with seating area

This is a mini version of their other built as Golden Corral units. It seems theyFlying Jack converted existing other food service restaurant in their this gas station/ convenience/ restaurant concept. Aisle for select of items are narrow and require " excuse me' to move around. Selection of salad components are in one isle so I had good time getting what I wanted as well as small selections of desserts . Other veg item without pork added beans/ rice/ cooked veggies are almost none. Yet those other baked cooked fried meat items as I noticed are about same as other stores. This is in truck stop parking area next to Motel 6 so it was busy after 7 pm.

First time to any buffet since this pandemic,on my way home to NY from SC. My family wanted to stop at a Golden Corral for brunch. Our server was very attentive , the food was excellent for a buffet, the only thing I could not swallow (sorry for the pun) the plates are atrocious with stains, cut marks and stains ,they're clean but don't look like it. I took 20 minutes to find 4 clean plates without any stains or cut marks on them and kept them with me through my entire visit. Maybe they even should consider paper plates. So be prepared to hunt for plates that will make you feel comfortable eating off.

This way magnificent I love this place. It's better then my disheveled old grandma's cooking and that's an understatement. The service was just magnificent I love this 11/10 recommend.

Food was not as good as it use to be. Asked for a well done steak it was burnt with blood running all over my plate. Chicken tasted like air, the cornbeef hash taste like ugh smh. 41.00 dollars wasted.

    My cotton candy... hee hee

I have always wanted to come to one of these restaurants and was not disappointed. The location is rather large. There is a lot of seating inside. We came during a weekday and there was actually about half the restaurant occupied and more people coming in. This told me the food was good here. When you walk in, you have to walkthrough their little store and get seated. The place also looked clean and there was plenty of parking outside. Everyone was friendly and I even saw the Manager handle a difficult man who even cursed at him with such class and professionalism. I was caught off guard this happened. Be careful with the little store! They have some many nice little knick knacks that you will get in trouble quick. I found several small gifts to bring back home. The food was good. Country style fried chicken with gravy. This is not food I am used to but it tasted great. It came out hot too! The server was a sweetheart and very tentative to us. I will have to come back to Elkton in the future and I can assure you, I will be making a dinner stop at Cracker Barrel one of the nights I am here. If you have not made your way here you should!

Staff was friendly and on point from beginning to end. They do take the dress code seriously, I saw people get turned away for athletic wear. It's clear on their website and not asking too much for an upscale night out. Prices weren't ridiculous, especially since portions were plentiful. A lot of people were leaving with leftovers. The specialty drinks are a bit pricey tho. The cornbread and Mac n cheese are a must order the moment you sit down to start things off. Both served in a small skillet, perfect to share. The cornbread bread was flavorful and the butter that comes on top you def want to let that melt right in! The Mac n cheese noodles were a little softer than I would of preferred but the blend of cheeses and the crisp crust on top made me not worry about the doneness of the noodles, it was top notch! We went classic with the entrees - catfish with gulf shrimp. The catfish was cooked perfect super tender and flaky. I wasn't thrilled with the shrimp, for "gulf shrimp" as they listed in the menu they were a lot Smaller than I expected and a little tough. The sauce they came in was nice. I would have liked some kind of sauce on the side for the catfish. The collard green rice was delicious and the broccoli that came with it was prob the most delicious broccoli I've ever had, just cooked well in lots of butter! The other entree we got was the fried chicken. Really delicious and tender. It came with a sweet potato side that was yummy and a classic collard greens Even tho we were stuffed we had to try the bread pudding, it was served with a Side of delicious ice cream. The bread pudding was perfect! I would definitely return even just to eat and try more menu items but the jazz club is a must do! Beautifully decorated and classy establishment all around

The Blueberry Shaker was only 3 dollars more than the regular drink and it yielded a total of 4 drinks for my partner. The drinks were good. For our meals we had the Steak and Shrimp Bourbon, Bourbon Street Burger, and a side Caesar Salad. Everything tasted very good. The decor is New Orleans Style although not completely authentic. First, my girlfriend and I arrived to the restaurant. We requested a specific table, and the host was gracious enough to do so. We then waited 8 minutes before our table was even touched, and it was just our (server? No intro, nothing) ASKING us if we'd like water. We say yes, and then waited an additional 5 minutes just to receive water in PLASTIC cups. Again, this person never told us his name, and we weren't even sure if he was taking our order or not. He appeared to be about 18, and was most certainly high Then, we requested glasses, and since it had been 15+ minutes since we sat down, said we were ready to order when we got the glasses. The guy took our order. We both got cocktails, which also took about 10 minutes. Finally, our appetizer came. We weren't even halfway through before the entrees came, we probably had about 10 minutes to finish it. This all could have been negated if our order was taken correctly, and things could have been staggered correctly. The "two bite" check occurred within 30 seconds of our food being dropped, and by then I hadn't even touched my food. It was way too early and felt like he was just trying to get it out of the way. At that point both my girlfriend and I were just ready to eat and we said everything was fine. I had to ask the guy for a bag on the way out, rather than him giving me one after our food was put into 3 boxes. I want to be empathetic of whatever was going on at The Social that Sunday. Yet, if you are going to make your steak $42, the service needs to justify that price. I will not be going back to The Social, and encourage their management to speak to their server who flubbed the ENTIRETY of my experience there. Myself and my girlfriend both work in the service / restaurant industry, and we know what good service is. We also understand that there are bad days. This was just abysmal. 4/10.

It took almost an hour for them to make my food (and I'm assuming other orders as my Dasher made 2 other stops and provided updates on the wait time). By the time I received my food it was in a grocery bag that was soaked inside due to condensation. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and the cheesesteak eggrolls. The eggrolls came in a proper takeout container and tasted OK, though I should've removed the bed of lettuce before saving them for later. After sitting for a while, the eggrolls absorbed the flavors of the lettuce and became bitter. It was not pleasant. The chicken sandwich came wrapped similar to what's expected from Burger King and was messy to eat, but it was better than I thought it would be. The hot honey didn't provide any heat, but the chicken was so crunchy around the edges. Last, the fries weren't great as they were placed in a paper envelope (also similar to what Burger King provides in a to-go bag) that was completely soaked. They were soft, but cooled for too long to hold any flavor. As mentioned it was an OK meal, but I wouldn't recommend it. Dining in the restaurant would likely provide a better experience.

If you're coming from Philly and you're coming up Hector Street I suggest turning onto Ash Street and parking along there. The walk to the restaurant is short. They have a small patio and outdoor seating. Service: Sydney was awesome! She knew the menu and gave me suggestions as well as the special of the day. Danielle and her trainee were very engaging. Drink: I had the peach bellini and it was good. It had peach pieces! They also offer a mimosa tower for three or more people for $70. Food: I ordered different dishes. Their menu reeled me in. I ordered the following: Fried pickles because I love pickles but I wasn't a fan. It came with a red and white sauce which was good. I think it was the type of pickles used that I didn't like. Fried green tomato tower which was pimento cheese, zesty aioli, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic reduction. I didn't like this selection either. The tomatoes were not ripe. They were too hard. The sauce was good. I like saucey but this was too saucey for me. Fried Shrimp & grits: fried shrimp, cheddar grits, smoked gouda cream, sunny side up egg. This was good. Creamy and just the right size lumps. Great flavor. If I ordered this again, i would prefer grilled shrimp. It reheated well at home. I ordered a shrimp and grits flatbread to go for someone. It looked very interesting and messy, but I was told that it was very delicious even after reheating. They have weekly specials. On Wednesdays they have a dinner for 2 special for $45. That's awesome! they have a murder mystery dinner! I can't wait to check it out! Overall even though I only liked 1 out of 3 dishes, I would definitely go back to try some other items. I'm looking forward to it.
