If you like a large selection of very mediocre food then this is the place for you. I tried a little of everything and was not impressed with anything. To top it off the one thing I really wanted was vanilla ice cream with hot fudge. Of course the ice cream maker was broke when we arrived. If you are in the area I am certain you can find a better choice for dining. read more

Good: Most of the staff, most of the food. (Cannot remember the name of the young man who helped me...really beautiful & "different" name and really nice! Also, Julie, my server, was AWESOME!) Bad: 1) The young woman who answered the phone. After she gave me the pricing, (which was wrong), I asked what they cut off age was for the senior pricing. She didn't know so she put me on hold. She left me on hold forever. When I finally hung up and called back, (~six times), there was no answer. When I got there, (at *least* 20-30 mins. later!), the gentleman who helped me said I was STILL on hold! He apologized. 2) The, (I believe?), roast beef was INSANELY dry/overcooked, and WAAAAY too salty! Suggestion/Request: Please remember that, (I'm fairly certain), a good portion of your customers are seniors, and, even if they weren't, high sodium content isnt good for anyone. *Please*, use less salt in your cooking, whenever possible? If I'm going to Golden corral you can definitely count me in to be there at breakfast and they started serving breakfast on Fridays so now they're serving breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am till 11am. Their prices are pretty reasonable considering that it is a buffet and it is all you can eat. They have a large restaurant so you can sit wherever you want in and their service is always great. read more

Liver and onions are available here. If you go during breakfast hours on a weekday, there is also bacon. (Breakfast buffet is offered on the weekends only but they still had a fair amount of breakfast items on the weekdays.) The biscuit was very fluffy and buttery as it just came from the oven. I should have gotten one more. Scrambled eggs, however, tasted like the commercial liquid eggs so add ketchup and hot sauce to taste. The fried chicken was still good as before. The coating and skin was crunchy and the meat juicy. Desserts were very fresh as I had come to the restaurant when it opened for the day. My server was very friendly and efficient. Plates were bussed quickly. She even offered to bring me a coffee as well with my meal. 1980s music was playing in the restaurant so that was entertaining. Senior discount for those age 60 and above. My mother LOVES Golden Corral, it's her favorite restaurant. When my family was planning a party for her 90th birthday she insisted on having the celebration at Golden Corral and we could not get her to change her mind. My mom kept telling us that Golden Corral has something for everybody. So we reserved the event room and sent out the invitations. The staff was very helpful although there were some issues that came up, they were resolved favorably. My mother and our guests had a marvelous time. The food was good. They allowed us to decorate the event room so we were able to create the perfect party atmosphere. They even allowed us to play music, so long as it wasn't too loud to disturb guests in the main dining area. It turned out to be the perfect celebration for my mother and though we were hesitant about having the party at Golden Corral, it turned out to be a beautiful, memorable celebration for our mother. She was sooooo happy! This is a late review but I wanted to stop and take out the time to say THANK YOU to the staff members that worked at Golden Corral on January 3, 2026, the day of my mom's party. THANK YOU... We haven't been to Golden corral in several years so we just decided to stop in to see what we have been missing, and it was a big mistake! First of all the line was definitely longer than anticipated and the prices have increased significantly. For two people the cost was right at $55 and that was with only one drink because I had water. The ambience was average, nothing special about the decor. I will say there were some plates chipped so they should be discarded. The food was very disappointing. I asked the server what was the top requested item and she told me the steak section. When I requested the steak, it was definitely overcooked and underseasoned. There was nothing on the buffet worth going back for I don't think I'll be going back to Golden corral in the future. read more

Sheyenne is management material!!! She is an amazing hard-working host. She constantly checked on us. I'm amazed how she worked the whole restaurant ; from our section to the section near the party room and a few times I caught her at the buffet area also cleaning after people serving themselves. We have dined here quite often every month for several years. We have seen a big decline over the years. Yesterday was the last time we will be coming here. When we arrived there were no glasses or large cups. After waiting several minutes they were replaced. The cashier was a young man that we had issue with the last time we were there and this time was no different. Lost our appetite and left. read more

We stopped in for lunch on the way home from Las Vegas. The staff was courteous and hard working putting out new food and cleaning and maintaining the prepared food area. Our dishes were promptly collected as we finished. They were the best part of our experience. The selection was good with both breakfast and lunch items available like French toast and scrambled eggs, baked potatoes, steamed vegetables, fried chicken, and a vast salad bar. But we felt some items had sat out too long and seemed dried out. The fried items were the biggest hits for our family as well as their rolls. Hubby and I decided to give this place a try and we will not be back. The customer service was great and our server was very attentive. The place was also very clean and it was not extremely busy. The issue was the food quality, not great. We tried a lot of different items and we kept being disappointed. We were two of the first few people there when it opened, and I'm unimpressed by this one. The outside and inside was clearly clean very well. The restroom (women's) was not clean, it smells and had no tissues or seat covers inside. Brooms and trash was still in the open while dining inside. Been coming here for just under a year. The staff here is always welcoming, upbeat, and extremely helpful. We had the privilege of having Heather as our server for the second time, and she's just s dynamo. Very professional yet friendly. She makes you feel at home every time. And then there's the staff at the grill. Normally I see a man cooking the steaks. But today they were understaffed and there was a young lady named Yadira working the grill, and she was running on all cylinders. She and her supporting staff were doing a fantastic job, and it needs to be recognized. I will definitely continue to visit this place in the future, because they make you feel like family. read more

The nice waitress Amanda asked if all was ok and we told her our concerns, she then summoned the manager. Marvin the manager with dreadlocks came to our table and we expressed our concerns. He then walked away by the food then kept walking . I went to get more food and the manager was behind the food counter and expressed to me the food that was cold was being handled. I responded to him that the fish and another entre was the same from before. Marvin then snapped at me and said," it's being taken care of !!" This was an unfortunate experience to the tune of $50.00 and that was the lunch price with a Senior discount! Sadly, the floors were dirty and nearly every unused table needed to be bused - to no avail. In the 45 minutes we were there no one ever approached our table to take used plates or refill our drinks. I had to walk back to the entrance and fill them myself - twice! The liver was overcooked, dry, and cold with the onions raw rather than sautéed. The catfish was not cooked all the way through. When we first arrived, I hesrd the District Manager speaking with a person saying she was overseeing 11 stores. She had a broom and dustpan and I thought it was refreshing to see a hands-on manager. I checked after he placed them out, they were like hockey pucks. Burnt beyond edible consumption. A dog would not eat it. The soup was so watered down at was like a broth and it was clam chowder. I would love to give this place 5 stars for a buffet. But on a Thursday night I just can not. Very disappointing. But I can say was the salad was great I made it myself. Haha. Buffalo chicken wings were lukewarm had a great flavor but sat under that heat for so long that it was hard. My husband liked his baked chicken, oh and the shrimp not the shrimp pieces but the fries shrimp was cooked perfectly. I tried that stuff they called stew, nope don't do it. The mushrooms tasted really really bland no flavor or at all. My guess is they close at 8pm. Be there for fresh food by 5pm because anything after has been sitting too long and it is not good.
