I was gonna turn around and leave but decided to give it a try. Had wedding soup and a small spaghetti the wedding soup was average no meatballs just small teeny chunks of meat. And the spaghetti was just again average meatball was small spaghetti portion very small all in all I'd say pass on this place. It looks like they're going out of business to me.

The hostesses were also so friendly, and they were able to sit us an hour before our reserved time so we didn't have to wait at the bar! This place had the BEST people watching! It wasn't too loud, or too bright, and all of the old photos on the walls were so cool to look at (as well as the vespa above the kitchen)! I would highly, highly recommend this place. This place is a MUST SEE in Youngstown! When you walk through the doors, you are transported to a simpler time. I have eaten there for over 30 years, and not much has changed. That would be a bad thing for most places, but it really works at the Golden Dawn. LOVE their pizza! read more
