FAMILIES: SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE SO RUDE TO KIDS. Y'all are you for real?!?! So the cashier was SO much nicer today when I ordered, and the food came out pretty quick. I used the Cash App to check in to use the reward for the first very expensive visit. As I said before, the food is good but the first time we visited it was HAPPY employees and no one treated us like crap. That was February 2020. As you can see byy review from then, we loved it. It was ONLY my husband and I at the time. Clearly THAT matters here. After spending $150 plus here...yes on two visits but over $80, our first, and $74 the second...why do you have to treat kids like crap? I would be glad to see VEGAN kids. Y'all apparently just hate. I'm so disappointed and so sad that this once super friendly business has turned. My daughter had a bathing suit on, having just come from the beach, and had to pee BADLY. She was told she needed pants and shoes (she had on sandals. I mean I get it "no shirt, no shoes...blah blah." But 1-there was NO sign marking that and 2-she is a very polite and kind kid. I hope y'all either recognize how rude your staff is or you receive no more family business. Because with attitudes like that you don't deserve it.

Stopped here, thanks from a plug from Ilovetheburg (instagram). Ordering: window/outside Price: 1 meal w/ drink = $20 Seating: outside only! Food: BUFFALO TEMPEH Flavor: a bit on the salty side Overall: I would recommend. Unique to the experience. Narcan Emergency contraception

Came again recently for the first time in a while-- so good, we actually went twice in the same week! The cuban is one of the best in the area I would say. Also a big fan of the birria Crunchwrap we had on the taco Tuesday special! The staff is so nice and friendly. I love all their outdoor seating, very big beautiful patio which is nice. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Super bummed I was really looking forward to trying Golden Dinosaur out. I had heard good things. Unfortunately I didn't have a good expierence. The best part of our visit was that the staff were really nice and the place is cute. They have bad squirrel spray, which is really cute. I orderd the Harvey on pumpernickel, fries and a chili dog for my friend . My total was 24,82. Thats high for a mediocre sandwich, hard fries and a chili cheese dog. The Harvey had Tempeh bacon, lettuce, and avocado. The tempeh was black and tasted burnt. The avocado was hard and black , the lettuce was wilted because they press the sandwich with lettuce on it. As for the fries, they were so hard. :-( My friend said the chili cheese dog was good but his reuben was also burnt and there wasn't enough sauerkraut and all he could take was a burnt flavor. No one checks on you to see how everything is. You order your food at a window, sit down and they bring you, your order . Very casual. Super disappointed and I probably wont go back.

My chicky Caesar salad was quite toothsome and got the pint of mimosa which was equally refreshing. Only weird part was there's no explanation of water but it's cooler strapped to the railing out on the porch area - help yourself to that. Also I purchased a side but when we didn't get it with our food, we mentioned it the server and they insisted we did not order it. I'm like mmkay no biggie, lemme make sure I didn't order it like they said but when they checked I did pay for a side so please double check that you get what you pay for! Great outdoor seating area and in order to use the restroom check in at the paying window so they can let you in.

It's vegan.. all if it.. doesn't mean healthy. So many fried items, not a lot of healthy to choose from. This would be great hangover food when I was in my 20s. Yuc of fries would serve that purpose well. That being said really enjoyed the flavors and the chickpea salad and the woman at the front had recommended that as a healthy choice. I asked for it on romaine lettuce which I prefer not much of an iceberg girl. It was good.. The music makes for a fun vine and they have great outdoor seating.

OMG. I have a vegan friend who was in town for just a couple of days so I took her to Golden Dinosaurs for lunch. We had so much fun trying and sharing a few of the sandwiches that she hasn't had an opportunity to taste in 20 years. Turkey Reuben? Wow. Steak sandwich with blue cheese? Who knew it was even possible. Nice shady outdoor patio. Friendly staff. Verdict? She said it was the highlight of her trip (and she was in town to attend a wedding on a yacht so...)

This is truly a gem in Gulfport for vegans or anyone interested in delicious comfort food. Everything we tried is decadent and very filling with nice portions and even nicer staff. Everything seems to be made from scratch with fresh ingredients, which sets it apart from many vegan burger/comfort food joints. The outdoor seating in the shade is quite nice with the breeze making the summer weather surprisingly bearable.

This place is so great for fast casual vegan cuisine. I am kind of glad I don't live closer to here because I would be more tempted to come here all the time. Just the vibe of this place is cool also. I am a huge fan of their vegan sandwiches and most of their baked goods. I did have a seasonal donut that slightly missed the mark for me in terms of the yeast doughnut part but it was still good and edible. My daughter LOVES their Mac and Cheese and even though I appreciate they adorn it with parsley I asked for it without and they were very accommodating (child refuses to eat anything green out of principle because she states, "kids don't like vegetables"). She was none the wiser that it was made with plant based ingredients and gobbled up the whole thing. I've had really cool specials so if you are interested to try, please look on their social media for rotating menu items. On my most recent trip there I tried their Cuban sandwich and it was really excellent without even being a mayo fan (I forgot to request to omit). GDVD has great COVID procedures in place where you order online via their website and engage in contactless pick up on the patio when it's ready (an estimated time is given).

Nice atmosphere and yummy vegan options!

This place was in a super cute area. It seemed like you could only eat outside or to-go which was fine by us. The Mac and cheese was good. Maybe needed a sprinkle of salt. My tofu wrap was super hearty and flavorful. My husband got a chickpea sandwich of some sort which he enjoyed. We split a pastry which wasn't our favorite. The outside was so hard. I'm sure it would be delicious fresh. We enjoyed the garden and walking around the area. Worth the trip over. They also have beer and wine to help you cool off.

Always fantastic and as an update just tried the lemon sprinkle and the cinnamon bun The LS was very good but unfortunately after one bite of the cinnamon bun and I have forsaken all others! It is a mouthgasm of delicious

What you'll find inside the cuban sandwich.
    D R.

I want to love this place more. Love the clever name and the playlists. But while tasty, there's hardly any protein on the cuban sandwich, which is really just a glorified grilled cheese: seriously, it's like a 2-3mm sliver. And it's not evident from the menu that it's sietan not pork. Yelp really ought tack "Vegan Deli" on the end of "Golden Dinosaurs," as the establishment itself does sporadically ... like on a single trash can. And the beer - at least the "unbranded guava wheat" I had is just no good. Maybe next time I'll try something else and get a canned beer.

We wanted to eat something that would be filling, comforting, grab a few drinks but not necessarily need a whole sit down experience. So we stumbled upon Casita Taqueria. Thanks to the other awesome reviews, we knew this was the place to go! It literally feels like a casita when you walk in. They have lots of outdoor seating, picnic tables and such. Inside had a bit less seating (especially when it's raining and most of the people want to stay indoors). Either way, we found a table for 5 in no time. The ordering is easy, you go up to the register, order what you want and then they bring the food to you. No servers no waiters just easy. Highly recommend ordering a pitcher of margarita, we got the spicy jalapeño one and it was so refreshing! The food was delicious, freshly made, quick, and perfect for a lunch break. We got the tempeh nachos, rice and beans bowl, chips guac and salsa plus everything else the rest of our table got. We left full and our hearts happy! The ONLY THING I wish I would see was a super spicy house sauce. Which btw, they have a little fridge of their house made sauces for you to grab and enjoy. I just WISH there was a spicy one, the sweet one was pretty good!

I see in another review a Yelper complains that it's not a tiki bar, but if you understand proper English, they're not claiming to be a tiki bar. The name says Pub & Grill. The bar's OWNER is Tiki Tim. That's his nickname, not a description of the bar. Yes there are some tiki type decorations, and yes, the place is actually a dive bar, But they have an absolutely fantastic kitchen so Tiki Tim's is well worth visiting. I ordered the Loaded Crab Cake Bloody Mary ($26.99). This exceptional Bloody Mary comes with a Bloody Mary Chaser! The chaser had 6 green olives. The Bloody Mary itself had: 4 pcs Celery 2 slices of Bacon 3 Mini tomatoes 4 lg shrimp 1 Crab cake burger It's a meal as well as a drink. Nice kick, too. The menu has several different Bloody Mary options. I also ordered the Blue Crab Fries ($14.51). A huge dollop of blue crab dip on seasoned fries. Enough dip for all the fries. Wing Man Gary (USAF pilot, retired) had the Tiki Burger ($14.51). Gary reports the burger was good but not exceptional. The menu has some fantastic offerings, I'll be back to try more!

My wife wanted to try the crab cake but the bartender (the fabulous Carolyn, aka London) sold her on the fresh-caught snapper sandwich. She got it blackened and said it was the best snapper sandwich she's had in a long time. The bar and grill is far from pretentious and is a couple steps up from dive bar status. Well-versed on the menu and a very pleasant lady. It's certainly not a fancy place and it looks like it's been around for a while, but it's the kind of place where you might like to hang out at the bar. Everyone there seems to be friendly and you get that comfortable feeling. We had a variety of food items, some better than others but nothing below average. Really good salads, as you can see by the pictures, a nice job on the chicken wings, a BLT that was pretty tasty; the butternut squash soup was OK, pretty thick and not hot at all. One was returned to the kitchen to be heated up. There was a chicken dip that really didn't hit the spot, and the tortilla chips that came with it seem to be past their prime. As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars. Like I said it looks like a nice place to hang around and have a couple of beverages and a little something to eat.

I have noticed this place for years and there are always cars out front when they're open. I've also noticed that a lot of the people going in and out are Mexicans. Now I know why. This place is authentic! It is a cheerful little Mexican restaurant with knickknacks brought across the border by the owners and proudly displayed everywhere there's room. I was greeted by Mama Nina as soon as I walked through the door and told to sit anywhere I liked. I was immediately served with chips, salsa, hot sauce, a large glass of ice water, and a menu. Mama Nina saw my interest in the little house plaques behind the register and proudly pointed out her favorite. The salsa is smooth and easy to pick up with the paper thin homemade chips. Neither salsa nor chips were too salty. A lot of places will serve you salty chips and salsa so that you will drink more. Señor Taco isn't trying for the cheap sale. This is the real deal. I immediately ordered Guacamole and Chips ($10.99). The guacamole is obviously homemade, had just the right amount of spice, and was topped with a sprinkle of pico de gallo, instead of having it mixed into the guacamole. Easily matched the best guacamole I've ever had. For my entrée, I ordered the fajita trio ($29.69). This was also the best fajitas I've ever had. Large slices of steak, chicken, and perfectly grilled shrimp, smothered in green and red peppers and onions. Brought out on a hot metal plate with a wooden under plate and still sizzling from the grill. You can see the steam in the photo. A separate plate held yellow rice, scoops of sour cream and guacamole, two different kinds of cheese, lettuce, and pico de gallo. The beans were served in a small crockpot because it was almost like a soup! I mixed the rice with the beans and ate it with the spoon provided. There were easily enough mixings to make 8 fajitas but I was only given 3 flour tortillas, although I'm sure I would have been served more if I asked. There was no way I could eat everything on the table. When I was full Mama Nina deftly packaged my leftovers to go. This was easily the best Mexican meal I have had here in Florida. Well worth the $50 including generous tip. There is a business for sale sign in the window. I hope they are moving to a better location. It always surprises me to find excellent restaurants in little out of the way holes in the wall. I'll be back!
