Staple found in my food!! Chicken was old. I would never recommend. And the food is way over priced for the quality

    Inside

Wow so many years haven't been here. Quality hasn't changed. Lunch special $11.25 with soup. The hot sour soup has alot of ingredients. The wings are large size. The chicken brocolli has enough sauce, that I wanted to order another rice. Delicious

Saucy and delicious shrimp chow mein. No bean sprouts as per my request.

This is the place to go for Americanized Chinese esp if you grew up in NYC or the burbs in the 90s and earlier. The place is take out or delivery via an app only. It's nasty looking inside with boxes and the like piled up and no seating at all in the spring of 2022. I ordered a boomer's meal of spare ribs on the bone , shrimp chow mein, pork fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was perfectly crispy and greasy with the perfect combination of cabbage and meat. One the the best in the city. Spare ribs where only slightly charred so I'd say Wo Hop still wins the best spare ribs for that. The fried rice is very yellow and has no scrambled eggs but it's sooo tasty !! The chow mein, as per my request with no bean sprouts, was very juicy and what I mean it had a nice amount of chow mein sauce which I love. Oh- and fyi , remember there's 2 kinds of chow mein, the veggie one with the crispy noodles on the side that is more prevalent in NYC. Then there's lo mein. They will ask you which one you want. The star off of bc of the extremely measly sized crispy noodles that were provided for my chow mein. It was about 15 crispy noodles in the bag. And a half star off for no scrambled egg in the fried rice. But still , it's a solid old school Americanized Chinese take out or delivery. The best In the LES and EV.

Ordered the large sweet and sour chicken to pick up. Chicken was nice - crispy batter and juicy not overly oily but the sweet and sour WSS basic and not flavorsome.

Solid American Chinese food. General Tso's was okay, pretty bready. Reasonable price, cash only but they have an atm in store.

Best Chinese food spot in the entire LES no comparison. Anyone complains is a yuppie from OT and doesn't know how things are done out here.

Solid, well-priced takeout! Chicken and string beans are good. A classic neighborhood spot to check out.

Food is tasty and affordable. The portions are very generous in this day and age. The combo is my favorite, comes with a side.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

Service is very fast and they kept the water flowing (spicy dishes really are spicy!), and the portions are huge. Though you have to pay extra for white rice ($3 a bowl), the overall value was reasonable for the main dishes. The grilled pork spare ribs was good, but it was too little meat for the price. The scallion pancake was bland. The Peking duck was ok. The pork xiao long bao was bad. The skin broke easily with the included forceps and with chopsticks. It was hard even transferring it to my plate. The mapo tofu was bland. The la zi ji (spicy crispy chicken) was too spicy to eat. I have good spice tolerance, and I always eat la zi ji, but it was just too spicy. This was the only meat dish that was barely touched at the end of the dinner. The best dish was the cumin lamb. It was seasoned well and the lamb was tender. I wish they gave us more lamb though. The meat pieces were small. I've had much better Chinese food in dallas. I would not recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone.
