place is as packed as ever, it seems like they have a lot of regulars and i'm not suprised. when i visited as of july 2026 it seems like they are now cash only so bring some change!!

I saw this spot on TikTok and knew I had to try since I'm a big dumpling fan and the price is such a steal for being in NYC! My friends and I ordered the fried chive & pork dumplings as well as the chicken boiled dumplings. Both were good, but I definitely preferred the fried dumplings. I felt like the dumpling skin on the boiled ones was a little too thick. They provide vinegar and sriracha, but if you want their chili oil, it's a small added price. If you're looking for a good bang for your buck, definitely recommend coming here and trying their fried dumplings!

I came here for a quick bite and it's a great cozy and affordable spot in Chinatown for some comforting food! I got their pork and chive dumplings (pan-fried is $4.50 for 10!), their pan-fried buns, and their sesame pancake with duck. Everything came out practically immediately, and the portions were huge. So good and worth your money.

Stopped here while walking around Chinatown for a snack and it was a great choice! About $5 for a box of delicious dumplings that were made fresh! Cash only spot that is pretty small but it was perfect to go and we didn't even wait 30 seconds for our food!

This spot will aaaaalways be a classic. $5 for 10 dumplings. Though it used to be $4, can't beat it. I went boiled this time instead of pan-fried in the name of health, but found it's worth it to treat yourself to the fried dumplings. Veggie noodle soup (fried egg included) was a nice complement to the shrimp dumplings, very simple and not super flavorful but good together. It's nice if you do find a place to sit to watch all of the people come in, it's a bustling place. It's an extra $1 for two chili sauces, which is fine, they're soo spicy but delish. I do think the pork and chive is the best dumpling they do, it's the thing to get here.

What it is, that's there main order of Pork chives for $4.50 is ready to go when ordered! It basically it's not hot cause it's made ahead of time , but if warm up again in a microwave for 30-45 seconds it could be good enough to eat ! , the have seating inside basically it's a to go place but it's on the corner when you enter! They greet you at the table , the menu is above the counter so you know what you're getting!

Great meal. Definitely a large portion! We decided on the vegetable dumplings and the pork/cabbage dumplings. It's not fancy but don't need to be when it's all so fresh and delicious. Loved watching them make the dumplings behind the counter.

Great prices for very good dumplings. Thick dough if you like that. Shrimp dumpling filled generously. Pork and chive dumplings just right 5 bucks for 10. Can't go wrong here.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Vibe 3/5 Another little gem in Chinatown NYC with the best cheap eats. Their pan fried dumplings were sooooo juicy but crispy on the outside as well! DELISH!

We went on a Monday at 2:30 and no lines. Small little spot on the corner. Cash only. You can see the mound of dumpling filling and the ladies making dumplings in front of you. Pork and chives dumplings are amazing. These dumplings are hot and ready in minutes. The bottoms are crispy and the tops are soft and pillowy. Perfect ration of meet to chives to dough. 10 for $4 is a great deal. Big on taste and big bang for you $.

    Brandon Y.

The dumplings here are pretty good. Decent amount of filling and flavor and the crisp ain't bad either. I grew up eating dumplings from all the places around here though, so I remember when they were crispier, with more juice and filling haha. Still, not a bad deal though. $4.50 for 10 pan fried pork and chive dumplings.

I absolutely love all dollar dumpling spots in Chinatown and this is one more to add to this list. I went on a Thursday night and it was crowded in this small corner store and for a good reason. We were still able to get one of 10 seats in the main table and enjoyed some dollar fried pork and chive dumplings (think it was 8-10 for $4 which is amazing). Dumplings came out within 2 minutes and they have the classic soy sauce and siracha on the table. Together it was truly wonderful. Love all dollar dumpling stores NYC has to offer. I would say some of the other places I have visited may be a bit higher on the list of best dumpling spots but this one also doesn't miss. I also got the seseme pancake with duck. It was also $4 but I would note that it was some what disappointing. It was filling and did taste relatively solid, but I think there could have been more filling. There are also better places to get similar foods, but at that price I simply can't complain. I love all dollar dumpling spots and this place matches that vibe. It's quite efficient as food comes out within minutes. There might be a bit of a language barrier when ordering food, and to note it is also cash only. The service is very fast pace and rushed but I loved it, so def will be back.

Solid frozen dumpling option. I went with pork and chive. Very good and reasonably priced even at $13 for 50.

It's right down the street. It's not the rice roll place that opened on Eldrige/Hester (rightt across from MS131) if that's the place you're thinking about.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

I missed a call and literally two minutes later the call came through again and the woman yelled at me - "hurry up hurry up, hurry up, hurry up!" said the driver was waiting 10-15 minutes for me, which was simply untrue - I got a call literally two minutes before- just rude. Added a screenshot in case the owner doubles down that it was 15 mins. Guess the first call was from the delivery driver, and the second was from the restaurant itself. ‍ But the really disappointing part is that they didn't pack any soup separate from the noodles! - So my chicken dumpling noodle soup basically had no soup - don't know if they forgot it or if it was absorbed by the noodles but most restaurants at this point know to pack the broth and the noodles separately,- so I ended up having to add some of my own vegetable broth, which totally was not the flavor I was hoping for. So - love the food, but delivery service leaves a lot to be desired - next time I'll try giving instructions to pack the soup separate from the noodles and see if that helps!

Located within the historic Chelsea Market building--a former Nabisco factory where Oreo cookies were first produced--the restaurant feels theatrical in the best possible way. The soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and energetic atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you walk in. It feels less like simply going out to dinner and more like stepping into a beautifully staged production. I started with a Botanist Gin Martini with a twist, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The surprise star of the evening was the new Cucumber Tiger Salad. The balance of flavors was exceptional: bright acidity, a pleasant touch of heat, and just enough mint to make each bite feel fresh and exciting. Every so often the mint would come through and suddenly all the flavors would click together in a way that made me immediately want another bite. This is a dish I would happily order again. Next came the Edamame Dumplings. They were delicate and comforting, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying broth. The broth adds depth and richness that elevates the entire dish. My only suggestion would be the slightest touch more salt, perhaps even a finishing sprinkle of black volcanic salt for both flavor and presentation. I also found myself wishing there were a bit more of that delicious broth because it contributes so much to the overall experience. For my entrée, I ordered the Glazed Alaskan Black Cod, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fish was rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully the accompaniments were composed. The pickled cucumbers brought brightness, acidity, and crunch, while the black bean and eggplant relish delivered deep savory notes and unexpected complexity. I'm generally not an eggplant fan, but this relish was outstanding. The cucumbers and relish sit at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, yet both somehow make the cod even better. Looking back, I think a glass of Sauvignon Blanc alongside the cod would have been the perfect pairing. I finished with the Miso Caramel Milk Bar, which was spectacular. Decadent, sweet, salty, and touched with just enough umami to keep every bite interesting. The chocolate crumble underneath added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy ice cream and luscious caramel sauce. Every component worked together perfectly, creating a dessert that was both indulgent and sophisticated. From start to finish, the meal felt polished, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you!

Then we got a handful of apps - everyone else swore by all the ones they'd had - but I just tried the Salt & Pepper Shrimp and... sweet baby Jesus, this little plate had a wicked amount of flavor from every angle.  "Aggressively seasoned" might be an understatement.  Wild. Onto the mains and I ventured towards their Spicy Drunken Noodle (my go-to whenever I'm hitting a Thai restaurant on my home turf) and... yeah, you probably guessed it - incredible. Not the biggest portion but they made every single component sing with flavor. With so much going on - of course I needed to indulge with another drink (hey, I wasn't driving!). There were six of us, it came to about $100 a person... welcome to NYC. But we did get a wide selection of plates/food and those two drinks accounted for about $40 of my tab. (And you'll never see such a heavy wine pour at a restaurant... they filled the glass almost to the rim - which was not even something I'd do for myself when I'm home.) Definitely recommended.
