4-4-4-3-3-4-3-3-4 =32 light fog to start and cleared up. 11:30 start. Fast greens and had a burger dog. Great staff played in 50 min.

Golfed here last Thursday. Typical overcast that Sunset is known for. But a fantastic day for golf on a stunning course in great shape. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I was visiting from Boston and was very impressed with the conditions of the course and the layout. Definitely the best bang for the buck on a par three. Can't wait to come back! (also, 100 range balls for ten bucks!).

I've always loved playing this course. It's beautiful, quaint, and always a great experience until today 10/13/25. Disappointing because of an interaction with an employee who seemed really unhappy to be there with his stale, negative attitude/vibe. It changed the energy of the roun. I hope management can figure out that this guy hates his job or train on creating a more positive and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Commemorative souvenir hat and Regular Hot Dog that was really good after a round.

I heard this was newly rennovated and wanted to check it out myself. I started golfing 2 years ago and only told myself I would play SF courses when I have a decent swing and iron game. This course was beautiful. Hawks overhead and views of the city and ocean on the horizon. Well maintained and amazing greens. Hawks also hunting gophers was a sight to see while teeing off. The course play itself was really fun. Plenty of fun shots to take but beware of how challenging the putting greens are. Had plenty of bogeys from my three putts, but that's what makes it fun! Got paired with two great locals of SF like myself and they are the best reason why I love folks who play golf. They emphatized me being new to playing and gave me plenty of tips about the round and course etiquette and play. Super thankful for that. The pro shop was very clean and modern. You can find awesome parts 3 Sunday Golf bags here with logo of the course on it too. Pretty neat. I tried the hotdog on the menu and everyone on the staff was so hospitable and professional I see why many players hang there before and after a round. Got myself a commemorative GGP Golf Course Hat for my first time playing here. Will be back again with my normal playing buddies!

Awesome 9 hole course. It is walking but not too difficult. Brand new clubhouse and course.

I really enjoy this course. I'm a beginner golfer, live in San Francisco, and started playing when this course closed for renovation so I was excited when it finally opened up. I appreciate it as a well kept par 3, there aren't many! The course itself is short, I think the longest hole is under 160 and most of the holes are around 120, but the putting is tough! Lots of slope. Not flat at all so you'll have to bring your A game and where you land on the green really matters. My favorite holes are 5 and 6. One goes down hill and the other up hill coming back up. 2 and 3 are awesome too. The surrounding trees become more prominent there and it feels like you're not in a city all of a sudden but tucked away somewhere in the woods playing golf. It's perfect. I also appreciate the short game area here. There's one for chipping and another for putting and are relatively not busy, at least in the morning. My only advice, book early, it's hard to get a tee time as it's really popular. And if you're an intermediate golfer and above, get an early tee time as the pace of play can be slower later in the day. Shout out to the staff , super nice. They answered all my questions. Gave a good brewery recommendation too. Only feedback I have, is I wish they had earlier tee times but not a big deal.

Great 3 par executive course. Well taken care of greens. Clubhouse has a good selection of beer and some really cool swag. The rental caddies are top notch.

This is an older muni course (maybe 100 years old) but renovated within the last 25 years to make…read moreit PGA Tour sanctioned, so tournaments could be played here. Very rare for a muni course to be given these specs. So now this ain't your basic muni course anymore, it is now more premium...in greenkeeping, in price and demand to play. This was my first time playing on SF soil and I play almost weekly. I've played a few spots in Monterey, Half Moon Bay and this course has visually the same terrain, with coastal wet mornings and cypress trees all over. Now this course has no ocean views, but Lake Merced is visible from a few holes. I was enamored with the cypress tree lined fairways and the beautifully maintained grass all over. Now with all this high level groundskeeping, though beautiful is also where all the challenge is here. Because this course is fairly flat, they're using the cut of the grass to be the challenge or the penalty. The rough cuts here are borderline insane. A good challenge for a pro/near scratch golfer but very penalizing and difficult for an average to high handicapper. A 3 inch rough doesn't sound too bad, but it is long enough that if your ball touches this rough it will 1) be hard to find, unless you are on top of it; 2) lose any roll/distance as once in this rough, the ball will catch and stop, giving you a longer distance for your next shot; 3) it is hard to make a connection in this rough so that next shot will usually not be flush/ideal. So the basic gist of this place is 'stay away from the rough'. But for an average golfer that is just so improbable. Even a nice shot to a green that may miss just by a couple of feet could easily find this rough. And to be that close and to have a very difficult shot as a result, is just too much for me to swallow. Just took the fun out of the game...for me. So a tad too difficult for me, also pricier than what I could do on a weekly basis. $150 to walk on a weekend. My regular golf buds and I usually play much performance friendly courses for about $70ish. So this is definitely more of a special occasion type place. I still want to come back someday and see how I fare now that I know how things roll...or more accurately how they don't.

From the very beginning, the customer service was lacking. Before finalizing my event, I visited the venue in person to ask questions and get a better understanding of the space. The Hispanic male employee I interacted with was unfriendly, unapproachable, and unable or unwilling to answer even basic questions, repeatedly telling me to contact sales. While I understand that sales handles bookings, I expected someone who works at the venue to be able to provide some level of assistance or information. Unfortunately, his attitude remained the same during the event. Several things that had been requested were not set up as discussed, and the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. What upset me most was that some of my guests arrived carrying water bottles, and this employee openly told me, in front of my guests, that he would kick us out if he sees outside drinks again. I found this incredibly embarrassing, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. The experience became so uncomfortable that many of my guests left early. For what was supposed to be a special occasion, the service and treatment we received fell far below expectations. Considering the amount spent, I expected professionalism, hospitality, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, we received the opposite. I would not host another event here, nor would I recommend this venue to others looking for a place to celebrate an important occasion.

Combined with the nice weather, the course is dry and playing faster than normal. I wish they'd maintain the course like this year round because if the greens were as a good as they were this past weekend, it'd be one of the best deals for public golf in the Bay Area. Plus you can't beat the views on a clear day of the Golden Gate Bridge. We came here this past Sunday without a tee time and were able to get 2some out with minimal wait. Making a tee time in advance is definitely recommended but if you are looking for a last minute way to get out to the course, walking on is possible. Since it was a hot day, we decided to get a power cart which is $50 for two people. It's a cart-path only course, which is a bummer but since it doesn't typically drain well, it makes sense. $50 for a cart is kinda steep considering the carts are standard and don't provide any type of GPS or anything. The course is very hilly, so even with a push cart, it can be a strenuous walk. Like I mentioned in the beginning, if you were thinking about playing Lincoln, now would be a great time since the course is in great condition.
