I purchased a house with three bathrooms, one had been finished with beautiful frameless shower glass. The quality and workmanship was excellent, the tolerances were very tight, for example with a very precise gap between the fixed pane and the glass door. I asked the contractor who built the house to refer me to the company that did the original installation, as I wanted to add frameless glass to the other bathrooms as well, and he referred me to Golden Glass. I got in touch with Jeff at Golden Glass, he came by to quote and measure the two bathrooms and gave a very fair price. A week or so later, the glass arrived, and his installer showed up to do the work (he was the same installer who did the original work on the one bathroom). Extremely professional, he knew exactly what he was doing. Took about 4 hours to do both bathrooms, including drilling, installing the glass, and sealing the joints. There was a small misalignment with one glass panel, so he took it back to the shop to get it cut down to size, and came back a few days later to finish everything (less than an hour of work). The finished product looks spectacular in all three bathrooms. Everything was done extremely well, looks very clean and precise, and is solid and high quality. I highly recommend Golden Glass and would not hesitate to have them do more work on my house! read more

"Open 8am to 6pm" Drove out the 20 minutes to get there on a Wednesday at 2pm, and the place was closed. No lights on and no closed signs. The hours on the front didn't change either. Not happy with the customer service...had glass installed in 2017 and it was beautiful initially. In 2018 the glass door started to touch and scrape against the stationary glass where the door closed beside. I texted and called Golden Glass for service and they never responded...My tenant eventually seemed to have fixed it but, it kept happening again over the next 3 years. Again, this year I tried to contact Golden Glass and clearly my calls and texts were being avoided. Out of desperation, I contacted another glass door company and they came out for $200 and temporarily fixed it. The issue as found by the new glass installers, was Golden Glass originally made the holes in the glass too big for the screws on the hinges and thus it would not stay in place and once the hinges were tightened the weight of the glass would slowly shift it away from the hinge. Golden Glass knew this was an issue as they put glue in-between the glass and the hinge to keep in it place (this should never be done as per the other installer)...this hack worked for about a year, then all the issues started as the glue failed due to the constant use of the door and the weight of the glass. The glue had to be cleaned up on the inside of the hinge and on the glass and the new glass installers tightened it to the best of their abilities...in the end I'm left with potentially chucking out $200 each time it needs to be adjusted (cost of the service appt....maybe once or twice a year)...OR resolving to replace the glass door...total waste of money. read more

The contractor who worked on my shower door told me to buy a 55X72 inch shower door. But I told him I wanted to wait until the tiles were in before committing to that measurement. It turned out that I actually needed a 52X72 inch door and so I started calling around. Only called two places as it was late Saturday afternoon as places were closing. The contractor rushed me and I couldn't shop around. I was quoted a price of $480 for a 3/8 inch glass semi frameless door with brushed nickel finish on the header and bottom track. When I got there, I was shown a model which had the lowest priced hardware on it. Jeff (owner)said that was what the quoted model. He showed me another model which I liked better because the towel rack looked like it was part of the door instead of just being screwed on to it. So that's what I ordered. It was ready for pick up in about 4 days but the contractor had taken the week off due to Chinese new year and didn't tell either of us about it. I got the door installed yesterday and it looks great. I am glad I went with the thicker glass because it is better than the 1/4 in that the contractor tried to convince me to use. I'm laid off so I am trying to save money but I want something that will last and look good. I would recommend Golden Glass and would shop there for my next remodel. Jeff will work with you to get you what you need. Four stars because I didn't really compare with any others in the area, but service here was great. read more

We are so disappointed in this company and strongly recommend that you go somewhere else. We ordered glass for our new home. Jeff gave us an estimate. We decided to upgrade the glass and Jeff gave us another estimate with a more expensive price. We then decided to order the cheaper glass. Jeff waited until the day our contractor picked up the glass to inform us that the cheaper glass was the same price as the higher estimate. He never provided the contract we requested. And the glass he gave us was poor quality; it is beginning to bubble. We talked to other glass stores and they say he has a reputation for doing this. We are extremely regretful that we chose Golden Glass. read more

Jeff cut a small replacement mirror for me on the spot. Then, the ext day when I returned to report that I had carelessly broken the mirror, he gave me another for free! Of course, he told me if I break that one, the next one would be double. Thats more than fair. A few years ago they cut and affixed two large beveled mirrors to closet doors. Although I didn't have the easiest time communicating with the owner, in the end, I was very satisfied with the worker who came to replace one of my broken shower glass doors. The installer, Tarnell, was very detailed and careful in his work and clearly an experienced professional. He carefully covered the floor and tub, handled the glass with a towel, and even fixed the placement of my shower door handles which were originally incorrectly placed. My shower door had fallen and broken which was why I needed it replaced. Tarnell made sure that the bottom rubber was replaced, added oil to the rollers, added silicone to the top and nailed the bottom track, to ensure the absolute safety of the new glass door. The price is also reasonable and scheduling was prompt within days. read more

I've worked with several glass shops over the years with mixed results, but lately my business has gone to Golden Glass. Why? First is that Farhad is very meticulous in making sure the job is well defined. He'll ask questions until he is sure you have thought everything through to get it right. And with tempered glass... it is worth the back and forth. Second is pricing. Very reasonable and with fast service. Third is that every job turns out exact, every time... for me at least. In our case, we've done some fairly wild projects including glass surround shelves that were suspended with wires from two ceilings. I only used this place thinking support the local economy. I ordered a front door for our building which was put in ok, but I had to do some of the additional work myself for complete functionality. What gets me is Jeff, the owner, would tell me nothing is in writing, that if he has to put it in writing, he won't come if there is something wrong with it, and that I am supposed to take his word of guarantee for it. We finished our master bath remodel with a frameless glass shower door. Our contractor called multiple glass door shops for an estimate. Golden Glass was the most competitive so we had them install the shower door in December of 2014. The installation was great and the look was awesome, totally happy. After 6 months the glass door had shifted and was touching the non-movable part of the shower glass and it needed an adjustment. I called and talked with Jeff at Golden Glass and he came out and adjusted it. It worked great until the evening, then it was touching the glass again. I called Jeff and he said he would send out an installer to look at it. The installer came out on time and I showed him where the door was and the problem we were having and left the room so he could go about his business. A short time later he came out and said the door is adjusted and good to go. I checked and it was fixed and working great. He left and I wanted to clean the glass and remove hand marks, no big deal. I sprayed the non-movable glass pane with some Windex and started to clean the smudges. To my surprise the adjustment that was made required caulking the panel again. Not knowing this I went over the fresh caulking and smeared it on the glass. I wasn't in the bathroom when the work was being done so I had no idea he caulked the panel. On closer inspection the caulk job that was done looked more like I did it than a professional. I called Jeff, letting him know I wasn't happy with the way the glass was left and for the installer not telling me to let the caulk dry for 24 hours. The original installer in December did a wonderful job and communicated to us not to use the shower for 24 hours. Jeff told me to get a razor blade when the caulk was dry to clean off the excess caulking. I took his advice and the caulking came off with some elbow grease. I would have given Golden Glass 5 stars if the second installers job was as nice as the first. I gave them 4 stars because they didn't charge me or make a fuss about coming out for the adjustment. Would I use them again, yes. I would request for them not to send the second installer. It's the small things, like not cleaning the excess caulking on the glass and supports and the lack of communication that makes an awesome job, just good. read more

This company advertised 24 hour service. I broke a sliding glass door and wanted it repaired as soon as possible. The person who answered the phone was extremely unprofessional and did not even answer with the company name. When I asked for the emergency service, he asked if I couldn't wait until tomorrow and quoted me $780. When I asked about getting it repaired tomorrow, he told me $280 off the top of his head without asking for specifics. When I asked for the free estimate that other companies advertise, he repeated $280. Wow. read more
