Chicken from wonton soup All the pieces where mushy this doesn't even look like chicken

Terrible photo came form chick wonton soup all the pieces were mushy and mysterious looking just gross

The drink was okay, but not as tasty as expected.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! The food is terrible! Tasteless, plain and it may even be expired. We were very hungry. My first bite of the kunpao Chicken threw me off guard because it didn't taste as expected; the was no sauce, no peanuts, and the chicken had the taste of old chicken. The beef in the broccoli beef was also bad, my husband spit it out as soon as he took the first bite. We tried fixing the food with soy sauce and hot sauce, but the hot sauce is not even a good brand, it is very sour, high in vinegar. The table was sticky, and the ambiance and decor were poor. The service was ok.

Orange chicken and mushroom chicken. Too much food.

Very good Chinese food. Staff very friendly and nice. I had orange chicken and another chicken. I only eat some of the chow mein. There was too much food. And I only got a two item. The food was super fresh. I would totally recommend this place. But, you need to be hungry. It's good food. And for all you wild people they also have spicy Chinese food.

I actually enjoyed this place but after tonight I can never come back. Ive never made a review before but I just paid $36.48 for a wonton soup and a 3 entree plate and this was going to be my second bite. Someone please tell me that's not a maggot (on the cabbage) I almost threw up Good thing I looked at the spoon before I put it in my mouth.

This filled me up for two days! I have nothing bad to say about this place. High quality, delicious, warm chinese food at a great price, and they serve you so much you kind of feel like telling them to lay off a little. Only issue, i prefer my orange chicken on the crispier side but it's still gold standard. Great place!

Staff is fast to serve, you go in and and out real quick. Portions served are very generous. Some entree favorites of our entire family are spicy orange chicken and jalapeño chicken that other Chinese restaurants don't usually have as a choice. Parking lacks safety is dark and hardly ever have any available near by. Definitely recommend to try.

SERVICE: when we first walked in, the guy bussing tables onto his cart made eye contact, then COMPLETELY IGNORED US despite it being obvious that we were there for dinner. off-putting, i ALMOST WALKED OUT :/ Once we chased someone down and got seated, our waiter was super FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. Food came out quickly and piping hot. FOOD: PORTIONS-what stands out is the HUGE PORTIONS, one plate could probably feed to and perhaps three moderate eaters. QUALITY-unusually and OVERWHELMINGLY OILY. Way more than I would've expected, and detracted from the eating experience. **Cheese WonTon-wrappers were FRIED CRISP AND TENDER, but the decent dollop of cream cheese filling was overwhelming. **KUNG POW CHICKEN was the BEST DISH we had, barely spicy but it hid the oiliness better somehow. **NOODLE (?chow fun) SHRIMP was difficult to eat, and the EXCESSIVE GREASE COATED MY TONGUE so bad the i couldn't taste the shrimp or veggies. **BLACK BEAN BEEF was fair. OILY BUT FLAVORFUL. veggies were nicely cooked still crunchy, but the HARSH ONIONS were overpowering. sweet or milder onions would let me taste the other ingredients more. the beef itself was tender and tasty. I personally won't be returning, but I see the value due to large portions and moderate prices. i'd gladly sacrifice quantity for higher quality.

The demeanor of both our server and the owner was noticeably cold and unwelcoming throughout our visit. We were simply there to order food to go and expected the same basic courtesy and respect that any paying customer should receive. What really stood out to me was what happened when I was paying. As I was handing over my credit card, the owner snatched the card out of my hand, and then also snatched the charge slip from my hand. I found the manner in which this was done extremely rude, unnecessary, and disrespectful. As a Black customer, I have unfortunately experienced situations where I have questioned whether the treatment I received was influenced by my race. I cannot say for certain what motivated the behavior we experienced at Golden Palace, but I can say that the way we were treated left us feeling uncomfortable, unwelcome, and disrespected. We don't expect special treatment. We expect basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect when we spend our hard-earned money at a business. I am sharing this review because customer service matters. No customer should leave a restaurant feeling like their presence was an inconvenience. Based on this experience, we will not be returning. .

When you arrive, be sure to write your party size on the sign-in sheet to secure your spot--there often isn't staff at the door to assist, so you'll need to manage it yourself. We visited after a long day and only had to wait about 30 minutes. Overall, the food was pretty average--or "mid," as the kids say--and I didn't feel it lived up to the hype. Here is a breakdown of what we ordered: * #26 Shanghai Style Chow Mein ($13.99): This was the standout. The noodles are thick, almost udon-style, and it's great comfort food. I would definitely come back just for this dish. * #1 XLB Juicy Pork Dumplings ($9.99): These were just okay. Not bad, but not great, and I'd likely choose somewhere else for dumplings next time. * #16 Spicy Wontons with Pork and Shrimp ($11.99): These didn't "wow" me, though I did enjoy the chili oil. I might order these again. * #62 French Style Beef Tenderloin ($17.99): The meat was very soft, but I've had better versions elsewhere, so this will be a skip for me in the future. * #83 House Special Fish Fillet ($15.99): It was very crispy with flaky fish, but the batter was quite heavy. It was enjoyable at first, but I got tired of it quickly. While the Shanghai Style Chow Mein is worth a revisit, nothing else stood out enough to make this a regular spot for us. It's a 3.5/5 experience, but I probably won't be back anytime soon.
