I came to order take out last night, there were two men sitting inside, but other than that it was empty. I figured since there were only two people inside that I wouldn't be waiting much. I ordered two bowls of pho for takeout. A few people came in for Postmates orders and those came out faster than the two men originally stated in this reviews order. At this point I had been waiting for about 15 minutes. Roughly 4-5 people came in after us to order and there orders came out shortly. After 20 minutes of waiting, the young lady at the front who took our order asked what our order was and claimed I only ordered one bowl but luckily I had saved the receipt and showed her that I had paid for two. She went to the back and didn't return for a while. At the 30 minute mark I almost wanted to just ask for a refund. There was no reason I had two wait this long for TWO bowls of pho. A moment later, a young man came from the back and told us they didn't have anymore rare meat for one of the bowls and asked if I wanted cooked brisket instead. I was over it at this point and just took it. The order finally came out 40 MINUTES LATER. I live down the street, roughly 5 minutes, and when I finally got to eat, the broth was lukewarm and oily. Worst experience ever and I am upset because I've ordered through Postmates before and that's what made me want to return again. But this experience ruined that. read more

I've ordered from this restaurant many times. This last time i ordered from GrubHub and the rare meat for the pho was not edible. Super chewy/rubbery. i literally had to eat around the meat. We had ordered 3 soups and each one of us agreed that the meat was awful. The few pieces we did have are leaving our stomachs turning. We tried getting a partial refund, but they declined. We will not be coming back. Empty belly, empty wallet, upset stomach. Pure disappointment. read more

I'm giving two points for the order being correct and on time. But the food was not very good--we ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Sweet and Sour Chicken and House Special Pan Fried Noodles. The soup was "ok"--really not as sour or as hot (meaning spice not temperature) as it would normally be. It needed more vinegar and white pepper. the Sweet and Sour Chicken was unlike anything I've ever seen before--usually it has a sauce on it that you can mix with the rice--this was very dry and tasted weird--almost as if the green peppers were old or too strong. The noodles were "ok" but the sauce to put on them didn't taste good. I am going to try to add some stuff to the sauce tonight to make it edible. We both ate cereal before going to bed because it was not very good Chinese food at all--maybe it's because we ordered Chinese and it really is a Vietnamese restaurant? I've only been here twice before for the buy one get one free special on drinks and I'm a sucker for Thai tea. I was craving boba so I ask for thai tea with boba. The first time I went they were out of boba which was (I guess) reasonable because it was close to closing time. The second time I went I ordered the same thing and after I paid and already got my change back the guy tells me they are yet AGAIN out of boba -_- I said ok and waited for my drinks. Then he comes out with both drinks one with boba and one without. Apparently it was the last of the boba but I still wondered why he didn't just split the boba among the two drinks. The Golden Pho, a favorite of ours. Except last night. Ordered the family dinner for three. In the beef broccoli we found lots of metal shavings like a thick steel wool but as thin as staples. Also little BB like balls of metal. We called the restraint and they said it was off the wok. Doesn't matter. It was metal in the food. This morning my wife went by and the girl said it looked like a hair net. A metal hair net?. I guess if the employees are that dumb the health department is going to be our next call. read more

This is my third time eating here. It was time to give them a review. The staff is very friendly and attentive with clients. The food is fresh every time. For a Chinese food place, the food is not heavy. The portions are huge!! Every time it's too much food for two people. My favorite dish is the honey walnut shrimp *drools. The purpose of my review is to provide business owner a recommendation, first you should figure out a way to let customers know of delays, and secondly schedule additional drivers on Friday thru Saturday. Great little place with pleasant people and the food is freshly made. We've been here a few time almost once a week trying different food like the pho shrimp with vegetable broth is great just have to ask for the veggie option broth. My husband has the beef rare pho; also has tried the chicken pho and the meats are finely cut and tender yum. This is a wonderful place. The food is fresh and tasty. The service is very good. And the staff is friendly. The wife and I have been here several times now, and each time we are not disappointed. Our "go to" meal is honey walnut shrimp (may have a different name on menu) and pork fried rice. These two items are enough for us, with some left over pork fried rice. The owner makes it a point to visit you during your meal and ask about the food and how you are doing. He is a very nice man. Early dinner...Ordered Mongolian Beef and Orange Chicken, plus some egg rolls. You can tell the food was fresh and homemade. Mongolian beef was the best. I really liked the Orange Chicken, especially the citrus flavor...really popped. Although my partner said it needed a bit more seasoning, chicken was crispy as were the egg rolls and not greasy. Had the Thai ice tea with boba....delicious; even though the tapioca balls were a bit mushy, had a a balanced sweet flavor. Price was icing on the cake. Great customer service and clean all around. We ordered food for delivery via Yelp and everything was delivered early. MaPo tofu and salt and pepper tofu were good but I wish both dishes were spicier. Next time i will get the spicy salt and pepper pork chops which is loved by everyone in our family. I'm going to be generous here because I love seeing family owned restaurants where they take pride in ownership. Place is clean, service is quick/friendly, and prices are great! Food is just average at best (I've just had Pho, won ton soup, and several of the beef, chicken, and shrimp dishes). I haven't tried any appetizers. Its right off the off-ramp (so its convenient), prices are great, and food will keep you going. I'm not sure I would go here if it wasn't on the way home from work. Everything here was soooooo good. I got the combination soup, which is the combination Pho, and it was really good. My family, (there were 4 of us adults), had chosen the Family Dinner for 3 which was well worth the money and plenty of food to go around. The Chow Mein was probably one of the best I've had from any asian restaurant. The egg rolls were fantastic! They were so good my wife had place two more orders of it after the first one! The Orange Chicken was also amazing, it's just the right amount of sweet and spice and everything just tastes great.
