No nonsense company. Quoted me via Yelp, showed up on time, finished in 30 minutes. Tech showed up, asked me to point him to the screen and got busy fixing it. No chit-chat, no attempts to upsell, just got to work and provided good results. I would use them again and recommend you use them too. Other companies wanted significantly more money, or wanted me to take the screen door to them, or refused to give a quote without a "site inspection". On that last note, all the trades seem to be pushing their "site inspectors" lately. And, they typically charge a fee to give you that estimate. So, they show up, apply their high-pressure sales tactics and rampant up-charges while also reminding you that you've already sunk costs into them, so it's a losing proposition to get any other quotes because it'll cost you hundreds to get several bids. It's a disturbing trend. They all clearly have a price range in mind, but they don't want to publish it so they can surprise you and try to trap you. Don't fall for it!!! read more

The whole process with Golden Screen from first contact to installation was fair, efficient, and smooooooth! I was able to get a guaranteed quote before he came over. I didn't want to waste time having a bunch of companies come thru to give me an estimate then decide. One company wanted to charge me $89 just to come out and give me an estimate. Sure, it would've been waived if I went with their services. But, they wouldn't even give me an idea if they were in the ballpark of my budget or not. They swiftly lowered it to $49. I still declined their estimate. I booked an appt over the weekend for Monday 10am. Allan arrived at 10am on the dot. I appreciated that he asked if he should remove his shoes! That was a nice touch. He was very mindful of my pets. I've had workers come thru who would leave doors wide open after I asked them to close doors so my pets wouldn't get out. He was very quick to do 4 windows and a slider. 3 were replacement screens. 2 needed new frames and screens. He finished by the time promised as well. Overall, I can't say enough about Golden Screen's service. They've been in LA and San Diego, and now they're new to OC, hence not a lot of reviews. Everything was fantastic- Alan arrived on time, quoted 2 hours work time but finished in just over an hour, and the work is of good quality.

We needed 15 new window screens made and our slider rescreened. It was easy to make the appointment via the Yelp app and got email confirmation of who would be coming and when. This company had fair pricing after contacting multiple companies. The employee arrived but in a personal vehicle not a work truck and had to review the job then leave to buy all the materials so the actual work started an hour later. He was very polite and worked very hard. He asked to work in our garage for the shade which we allowed but if he had a truck he could have had an easy up - I would imagine not everyone would be ok with giving access to their garage. He did have to redo and tweak a few frames as his measurements were not 100% accurate. The price on the slider with pet screen was quoted $125 but I was charged $135 and when I had asked if they could install my doggie door into the screen they said yes but never told me it was $45 to do that which was irritating as I could have done it myself for free. He also did not haul away our old screens which I had assumed they would (my bad). Time will tell if the screens hold up for now a 4/5 star job. read more

I just had my screens replaced when my dog got scared and jumped through a window, knocking out the screen and bending it all out of whack. Max and his team were so quick to come out and repair it! Allan came out the same day and I got a new frame and screen. I also asked him to look at the kitchen window because flies were somehow getting inside. He was able to find the bend in my window frame and seal it up for me. It wasn't the screen, but the gap caused by the frame. Thankfully, problem solved! I really appreciate how he broke down the debris and put everything in my trash bin outside. And he reiterated that I could call them if I had any other issues.
