If you need your screen door fixed these are your guys. They were able to rebuild us a new screen door that worked like new. Our sliding door frame was not the easiest to make it work but they took extra time and were meticulous to make sure the door worked like new. Don't be fooled by this company! They are nothing like Mobile Screen Service!!! At 1st they were helpful. They came to repair our screen that our dog ran through. Since they did a good job, we called them again the 2nd time around to replace a couple of other screens. Huge mistake!!! Their service guy ended up putting our screen backward with the lock outside. We asked him to switch it around. Service guy excuses was that our screen rollers were damaged. That was why he did it that way. Ironically we called Mobile Screen Service and they changed it out with no issue whatsoever. We had to pay another company to have our screen done right. My 100lb German Shepherd and 50lb Jindo basically destroyed the screen on my sliding door, so I shopped around and found Screenmobile to come in for a quote. Drew stopped by inspected and quoted a reasonable price so I agreed. He was able to replace the frame and the screen with the Pet resistant screen on site. My German Shepherd still scratches at it once in awhile but its still held up. He did recommend we install a pet guard to be safe, but since my dogs are a little older and wiser, they've become a bit more behaved. Fast forward to a couple of months later, I noticed some of my window screens were old with rips and tears. Contacted Krista who is very prompt and friendly, made another appointment for a quote. I needed a screen door that had a pet door in it. After doing ALOT of research, decided to go with Screen Mobile. (Be careful - there's so many similar sounding companies....it can get a little confusing.) I have a 95 pound golden retriever mix, that likes to occasionally go outside to do his business when I'm not home. The existing screen door was really flimsy, and was falling apart. They came out the same day I called, assessed the situation, and recommended the best option for me. I was having trouble with mosquitos being able to fit through my screens and security door. Enzo, the owner was very concerned when he saw the bites. They were able to change out several of my screens right away with a very fine mesh screen, but that didn't take care of my iron security door. I told him my idea of adding a screen mesh to that door with magnets. He thought about it for a bit and called me with his idea. He came back out measured and brought a prototype of his idea. Returned to his workshop and put together a screen that affixed to the inside of my security door. It works perfectly and looks great. I can open my doors and window again. So happy!! Here's the challenge: I had a rip in my screen at the bottom left corner. It was about 12 inches on the side & bottom. I called to have it repaired. They said on the phone it would be roughly $165 to rescreen it. Ryan came out and inspected the screen and both doors (it's a retractable screen). Said it looked ok but that he had to take the screen outside. I agreed. Then he comes back in and says he can't fix it. Ok, then just put it back. We have renters coming in in a week. He then proceeds to tell me that he can't, because it fell apart. He also says that the other side is gone too. So now I don't have any of the parts in my house for this retractable screen. He brings in a corroded part. Have no idea if it's from my door or not. Tells me it's going to be $925 because I need a brand new double-sided retractable door and there isn't anything he can do for me. Had I known that there was a chance that he would be removing both screens and both doors and not able to replace them, I would have passed on the service all together. It is a terrible way to do business. You should tell people the risks before they make decisions. It may have been legit, but sure feels like a bait & switch. Boo. read more
