The space is stunning. So spacious, literally such an ideal workspace. However the coffee sadly missed the mark. I have nothing good to say about the coffee. I got a flat white and for me there are no redeeming qualities. The after notes of the coffee reminded me of manure. I wish I were exaggerating but I gave some to my friend to try and he said it tasted like coffee that was leftover from the day before. This is upsetting because I really wanted to like the coffee here. I was visiting from LA and sifted through tons of coffee shops on Yelp, landing on this one. I ordered the chorizo and cheese croissant and pear tree latte. The "chorizo" was just pepperoni so I feel a little duped, but the croissant part of it was still very good. The pear tree latte didn't have any pear flavor, but again the coffee part of it was good. The inside atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very sweet. The coffee here is smooth. In the AM, I enjoy my beautifully designed Flat White Latte. When I come in the PM, I usually get the Dopio which they provide with a cup of soda. The icing on the cake is the large space which usually guarantees a spot I can work at. This makes my drive worthwhile. Found: New coffee shop to do remote work at! I've been eyeing this spot on Yelp for a bit and finally had time to try it out! The interior of this place is super beautiful and unique. Very open space with tons of tables available to sitting + chatting, working, or just hanging out. They have free WiFi that works pretty well and some outlets scattered around too! As for food + drink, I was not disappointed! I got the avocado toast which came with sliced tomatoes and micro greens. It was also seasoned to perfection - sooo yummy! This place is cute. I am born and raised in Southern California but moved to AZ--we were visiting and looking for a coffee shop. Decided to try this spot. Coffee was good. I tried the nitro cold brew and the BF did the espresso tonic. It was decent. The food though--was delicious. I have the veggie provolone breakfast sandwich and my BF had the chorizo breakfast sandwich. We both were more impressed with the food. I ordered a caramel iced latte and a chocolate croissant. I've tried multiple different coffee shops in the area since being here for a week and i will say, this latte is the best I've had thus far - The croissant is just okay. The atmosphere it self was nice and very calm. My only complaint here is - two people behind the counter are not the most customer oriented people. The guy who was making the food was sighing the entire time and the girl who is taking the orders and making the drinks seems put out any time she had to help a customer. Amazing coffee shop shrouded in wood and brick. This place is very spacious and cozy with enough seating for a big group if need be. The food was delicious with the chorizo sandwich acting as a nice, heavy meal and the almond croissant sweetening it all out. Fullerton has some great coffee shops but this one is definitely my favorite. Drinks are always perfect, baristas are super nice and the food options are great as well. We've had the iced latte with almond milk, iced matcha latte, cappuccino and a regular latte - all were perfect during each visit. We also loved their gluten free banana bread and their almond croissant was fabulous. The garden provolone sandwich is a great breakfast option! There is tons of space to sit, ambiance is one of the cutest coffee shops you'll find with beautiful brick interiors and you can actually catch them roasting beans on occasion. The surrounding area outside of this coffee shop was a bit disappointing but I'm glad we decided to come in during our first visit because they do not disappoint. read more

I love Golden State Coffee Roasters! I first discovered this place almost five years ago and I come here almost five days a week because I think it's that good. I come for the coffee and leave in a better mood because the staff are always so friendly. They know what I'm getting before I get to the counter and make me feel like a regular. There's plenty of coffee spots closer to me but I make the commute because I know it's gonna be good. I have not been able to find another place with the quality of coffee, taste of coffee, and customer service that beats Golden State. She let me try their non-dairy PISTACHIO milk, which is the first time I've seen this milk in ANY coffee shop. It was seriously so delicious and such a unique alternative than soy, oat, or almond. Love these small details that set them apart! DRINK: ** they only have one drink size, all their coffees come with a double shot of espresso ** $6.25 SUGAR FREE VANILLA LATTE with pistachio milk: they don't up-charge for non-dairy milk, but they do up-charge for sugar free which I thought was odd. I'm a Golden State Coffee stan and to me it is one of my favorite OC coffee shops- especially for the roomy interior, good pricing, quality coffee and baked goods and mostly quiet ambience. In other words, you can actually have a small group conversation or work call here without having to shout over the typical coffee house clamor. Aside from baked goods, I do like their breakfast sandwich offerings esp the garden provolone. Coffee is tasty and not too bitter and priced very well given the scale.
