Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

The two ladies helping me with that process were great, they were very helpful in explaining things. I was seen quickly, within 10-15 minutes of my arrival. Sergio helped with taking my vitals and noting my symptoms. He repeated my blood pressure test after the first one was pretty high. He encouraged me to relax in between and breathe deeply. Of course, the second reading was better. He was very professional and compassionate! I saw Dr. Victor Nekrasov, who did a thorough examination and discussed the symptoms I've been having. I felt that his questions were good, and I did not feel rushed at all during my time with him. He prescribed a few meds, and I was on my way. They confirmed which pharmacy I preferred, and I opted for CVS located across the street. I was encouraged to return to the clinic and/or follow up with my PCP if symptoms did not improve. It was a very good experience overall, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend this facility to others.

Well no need to wonder much longer if you should go or not, here's my experience I had when I went. Their assistant was super nice and helpful to begin with, the dentist that helped me call him "Dr Alec" he was really cool and down to earth. We spoke about what I needed and wanted to get done, the procedure went smooth and painless I was more than satisfied with the services that was done on my teeth! I had a missing tooth for quite a while now and it knocked my confidence out. But after going to see Dr. Alec he definitely made the process feel easy and worth going. My tooth is now fixed and I feel amazing and I couldn't be more happy that I went! Most definitely recommend going here! Dr. G was also very helpful getting my insurance to take care of it as well. Thanks Dr. G for taking your time to locate my insurance because at first it wasn't showing I was on the insurance policy but he called them a few times to handle that issue. My first visit with Dr. Alec was on 9/27/21 due to an emergency filling I needed. I was in a lot of pain due to an incident that had occurred the night before. He was cognizant of my pain and he was extra careful during the procedure. Due to the 9/26/21 incident, I was unable to wear my braces retainers(from 2012) at night for a few months and that caused my teeth to shift. I brought up this concern along with teeth whitening to Dr. Alec's attention and he asked if I'd be open to exploring Invisalign. I said yes but I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them in great detail. For teeth whitening, he recommended that I do it concurrently during the last few weeks of my Invisalign program since it cuts down the cost of teeth whitening. I decided to move forward with the program. After using his high tech x-ray machine, Dr. Alec sent me a link to a virtual transformation showing the gradual shifts that would occur each week. This was very cool to see and motivated me to stick with the rules of the process. The duration of the program for me was 15 weeks but it varies for everyone. I just finished my last set of trays and teeth whitening a couple weeks ago and I'm extremely impressed with the results. Golden State Dental has been by far the best dental care I have ever experienced. The ambience of the office feels very comfortable and welcoming and they have a lot of new technology to make sure I get the best quality of care. Dr. Alec Garoian has taken very good care of my teeth with great passion. From setting up my first appointment to get X-rays and teeth cleaning to starting my Invisalign treatment. It's such a relief to have Dr. Gary and Dr. Alec as my dentists. They are very personable, make you feel comfortable, and listen to your concerns. In the past, other dentists didn't want to perform work on me because they said it was too complex. Dr. G and Dr. A not only did an excellent job, but also my work has lasted over 15 years and it's still going strong. Over the years they've done my implants, crowns, bridges and fillings and I couldn't be happier to have them as my family dentists. His father-son team is the best dentist I've ever been to they treat every patient as if it's Donald Trump or some other millionaire you get an extraordinarily amount of attention from this dentist most likely both dentists will be examining your X-rays and your teeth. Big shoutout specifically to LaMont White, he was so sweet and even ended up giving me some life advice during my consultation. I went with my mom and at the end, the doctor herself went to go update my mom on my procedure and assure her very went well. Everyone was just so nice. Two weeks later, everything went well with the root canal and am back to healthy teeth. Hopefully I do not need any more procedures like this in the future, but if I do, I want to come here!!
