We love this place for all of our Chinese/Mandarin cravings! The food is consistently great! I love the spring rolls with the dipping sauce! I've enjoyed the Tomato Pepper Beef multiple times! The potstickers are mouth watering too! They only offer take out, but, everything manages to stay super hot when it arrives to our home. The owners are super friendly and really go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy! We were so happy we found an authentic Chinese restaurant when we moved to the area years ago! read more

Unfortunately the dining room is not open, due to staffing issues. We all enjoyed our meals tonight. The Mongolian Beef had the perfect heat and the egg rolls were delicious. Others enjoyed the chicken broccoli and beef broccoli. Small serving is definitely enough for leftovers. We had delivery from this restaurant tonight. I don't think it's their fault but it was delivered to the wrong address. My neighbor brought it over. Oddly,, , the same thing happened the last time I ordered from this place, and I got a refund from Grubhub because no one found it. I think it's their own driver, not a Grubhub guy. So the food just wasn't good. We had beef with oyster sauce; no flavor at all. General Tso chicken; not good. The chicken tasted like a sort of processed chicken, and it had no crunch at all. Fried rice was ok. I have never ordered anything from a Chinese restaurant that I I didn't even finish, so this is a first. I didn't even save the leftovers. Bummer to begin my adventure. The restaurant is only doing to go orders. Since Covid, the owner told my friend and me, he's down a chef and servers. ** This is my opinion based off of my preferences and prior knowledge/experiences eating Chinese/Asian food ** I saw all the positive reviews and was really hopeful for this place as I don't know any good Chinese food places in this area.... This was a huge disappointment across the board. I don't like being the person to write a bad review, but this was an expensive order and there were 3 of us who all had the same experience/opinion when eating the food. The chicken lo mein had absolutely no sauce on it and so it was just bland boiled noodles essentially. The crab rangoons weren't properly done or maybe just not what I believed was uniform because of so many other places. The filling was solid and not creamy at all. The pot stickers were more dough than anything else and just tasted super doughy. The bbq pork fried rice was over cooked and super dry. The chicken for the sesame chicken and general tso's chicken was a weird texture and not pleasant to eat. I was so overly disappointed with the lo mein, crab Rangoon and dumplings that I could barely eat the rest of it. Forget this place, seriously, don't do it. I used to LOVE this food, but something definitely happened. Not sure if change of ownership or something, but everything changed. I can deal with people being incredibly rude, but there's so much more going on. Before I even get to the food let me mention a few things. First, they don't deliver any more. Plus, when you place an order, they fail to tell you that they don't accept AMEX or Discover. And of the cards they do use, they charge a fee. I always love having to pay to pay. When I asked them about all this, all I received was some rude response and an "I could care less" attitude. Just horrible. Ok, let's talk food. I ordered chicken curry and it was 90% onions. Barely any chicken. Taste was ok at best. Then the worst...the beef lo mien as nothing but noodles! I honestly couldn't find any beef?????? To be fair, the chicken wings were pretty good but that was about it. AVOID this place. It's not worth the rudeness and below average food. I wish they would put more effort into putting out good food and less into trying to squeeze every penny out of the customers. read more

I served fried rice with orange chicken and a spring roll. The entire package was delicious. I really don't understand why it is rated as 3,5 stars. I usually don't like this type of food that much but I loved every piece of this meal. The portion was so big that I will have another meal for dinner. The hubs and I wanted something Asian for dinner, and were pretty new to Door Dash, so we decided to give GWII a try. My husband wanted a sweet and sour shrimp, but it wasn't on the menu, so he got the sweet and sour chicken instead. He said he wasn't impressed with the chicken. I believe it was too bready and the chicken was dried out. Although, he loved the egg roll that came with his combo meal. I ordered the crispy sesame chicken. I wasn't wowed by the chicken because when I cut open a nugget, it was hard to tell what was breading and what was chicken. It almost seemed like something from the frozen aisle at the grocery store. The sauce had redeeming qualities of sweetness and tang. I wish I had a bottle of that at home! The portion sizes are pretty huge. My sesame chicken basically filled a long container (it was heavy!), and came with a small side of white rice. This literally ended up being 3 separate meals. I will give them points for being generous with their portions. Our total Door Dash for 2 entrees (one of which was a combo that came with fried rice and an eggroll), free delivery on first order, and tax/tip was just over $30. read more

Sesame chicken and beef fried rice from Golden Wok II are my favorite dishes here . I dare you to find a place that can beat their sesame chicken flavor! This was a staple in my childhood. I didn't visit for years until I said out loud "there are no great Chinese food places in this area!". That caused me to revisit this location and I'm glad I gave it another chance. Good stuff. The western suburbs are hurting for good Chinese restaurants, so I was happy that we gave this place a try. The food came hot, and we are two towns away, so I was pleased with that. I had Singapore noodles and thought they were really, really yummy! Lots of shrimp and pork and just the right amount of green onions and peppers. My husband had beef fried rice and egg rolls. The fried rice tasted like the kind I had in Hong Kong, so to me, that screams authentic. I had a bite of his egg roll, and that was also good, but I can't get that excited about egg rolls. Honestly ... I don't go that far out of my way for bad restaurant reviews. I've worked in many restaurants and give the benefit of the doubt. But myself and two males tried one of the chicken dishes and none of us knew what 'meat' that was because it wasn't chicken. And you know when two dudes say they won't eat the meat you know it's pretty bad. Ahah 'eat the meat' I wouldn't eat that again if they paid me. It was like translucent almost and stringy. Ill start with the plates were dirty with stuff stuck around the rim when we asked for a new plate they brought new shiny dinner plates and said now we can't complain hehe And now with our appitizers. We ordered two egg rolls that were undercooked and a bit cold, crab Rangoon crust was good cream cheese filling was old looking & had horrible to taste, pot stickers dough was unusually thick and didn't taste fresh. For our entre we ordered general Taos chicken which had good flavor, Mongolian beef was also ok and an order of pork Fried rice a lil spicy and the rice tasted ok but tasting the pork alone disnt. Had them once at a friends place and it was great. Ordered it yesterday and it was horrible. The general tsos chicken was ok, but I got chicken fried rice and combination rice and it was so dry it was inedible. When I had the crab Rangoon at my friends it was some of the best I've had in a while, this time they were cold chewy, and 99% breading. I had one and threw the rest away with all the rice.
