Supremely mediocre Chinese food. I tried the chef's special Emperor's Chicken. Although the sauce was decent, the chicken was way over-battered. I wish it came with a greater variety of vegetables as well. My fruitless search for great Chinese food in the Chicago suburbs goes on...

Eddie the owner is so funny. Love his friendliness and how he talks to the customers. It makes the establishment great. We ordered the crab Rangoon which is huge. It is NOT full of just cheese. He has the crab with some good stuff. Not too cheesy either. This location is next door to Oberweis ice cream.

Chinese bbq pork with bok choy, and 3 delicacies, big ass hot and sour, and a egg roll the size of...a really big egg roll

Service is not friendly. The young lady that takes your order is consistently unfriendly. This use to be our go to place, no more.

Good simple take out food. Fresh and tasty. Enjoyed the fried , egg drop soup and the dual delight.

Still solid entrees and unbelievable crab rangoon, but they changed their egg rolls -- so sad. not a fan of the new ones.

So sad to learn that you went out of business in the last month. You were really delicious. I do…read moreknow every time I went in there. There was a teenager running in the place unless the average teenager isn't gonna build a business.

Hey fellow Yelp users! I went to Forbidden Noodles in La Grange on 7/17/24 (Wednesday) with my…read morebestie. This was my first time coming here so I didn't know what to expect. My bestie has been here a few times, so I went with the Ramen should recommended I should get. Forbidden Noodles definitely exceeded the expectations I didn't have. Food: I ordered a pork tonkotsu with miso instead of the tonkotsu ($14.99). Since I was treating myself that day, I also decided to try their cream cheese rangoon with their spicy mayo ($3.99 for 3 pieces) and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly a great combo! Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. I went on a really hot day, so it felt nice walking into the cold. The place had low lighting which gave it a warm and cozy aesthetic. Perfect place for a date or catch up lunch/dinner. Customer Service: I thought the customer service was great. The cashier that took my order was really nice. She even brought out cups of water for me & my bestie even though neither of us asked for any. Parking: There's a parking lot, parking garage, & street parking which is all FREE. Street parking is hit or miss, so I totally recommend parking at the parking lot or parking garage. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a good experience at Forbidden Noodles. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving some Ramen but want to skip the trip going to Chinatown (although Chinatown does have a good chunk of Ramen spots). You can even watch a movie before or after grubbing at Forbidden Noodles at the nearby Classic Cinemas La Grange Theatre. I hope this review helps Forbidden Noodles & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!
