Ordered delivery via Grubhub and got the chicken with broccoli combination plate that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll, and added a pint of vegetable lo mein. It was pretty good, esp the egg roll, but the lo mein noodles were a bit overcooked. It's reasonably priced and huge portions. I liked that they give you fortune cookies to enjoy after which restaurants these days don't give anymore. Would probably order from here again.

Fair warning: before I regale you with my world travels in search of Chinese food, some of you may find my anecdotes pretentious or long-winded, but the tale of the global quest for spare ribs can't be easily condensed to 280 characters. Still here? Yes it is true, I have ventured to lands near and far, from the mall food court to the vast exurbs of the New York/New Jersey region. I have consumed exotic fare in the tiny mountain of village of Tuxedo NY, a scenic land, but so remote that there may be a 3 hour gap for the next train to Hoboken. I have traversed the thoroughfare sometimes known as The Silk Road of Flushing, Fresh Meadows and Jamaica Estates, Union Turnpike, in times so ancient that the Q-46 bus was called the Q-44A. The vast miles are accompanied by a wide range of emotions, tragedy to triumph, experiencing dinner at King Yum but never its karaoke, continuing to enjoy Dave's even though the shrimp with black bean sauce recipe from 1980 is no longer. The cuisine has delighted me when other places were closed due to holidays and has been the centerpiece of important moments ranging from a family dinner celebrating my acceptance to Elmira College to watching the Oscars in 2003 when Michael Moore got booed. TL;DR - American-friendly Chinese cuisine isn't the only game in town, but even though you'll find more authentic offerings in Flushing, this is an important genre that can vary quite a bit. Christopher's Golden Woks has been a success so far, with curry shrimp providing respectable heat levels and fresh vegetables. The fried chicken has far more flavor than grease and enticing crispiness. Roast pork with vegetables was good on my last visit, perhaps next time I'll venture into some less safe bets. The Uber Eats pickup speed has been great, making this place a recurring favorite for Hudson River picnics.

a west coast gal looking for ny style takeout and i found it here!! all of the food came in piping hot and so good. the fried chicken is hot, crispy, and very flavorful. fries were made perfectly, you really can't go wrong with this. they were crispy and they give a lot!! i had to try it with all of the sauces (ketchup bbq and hot sauce) combined. i would love to come back to try other menu items. wait was about 10 minutes so it was relatively quick

    Egg Roll was the bomb!

Excellent Food! Huge Portions and this is the ONLY place in NYC that I personally have ever ordered from that makes their own homemade egg rolls. Every other restaurant I have ordered from uses those awful frozen tasteless ones. If you are eggroll lover, you will love these! I am so picky about my egg rolls so I am very impressed with these! The sesame chicken was excellent as well and very FAST delivery. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

"How 'bout there?" he responded pointing to Excellent Dumpling House. It was directly across the street. I pulled up Yelp, saw good reviews and readily agreed. At 3:30, the restaurant was empty. There were a few takeout orders, but we were the only people sitting down for late lunch. And y'know ... it was pretty good. Wonton soup is what I'd expect in Chinatown. Wonton wrappers were thin -- my preference -- the stuffing delicious and the broth flavorful. They were generous with the beef in our chow fun. Good, but the noodles needed a jolt. So I asked for soy sauce which was sort of a solution. Shrimp with vegetables was great. A lot of shrimp, too. There are lunchtime specials on weekdays, reasonable prices, and nice people work there. Next time it makes sense to try dumplings since it is, after all a dumpling house.

Then the scallion pancakes which were crispy and airy paired with this very interesting sauce that was clear but tasted like sweet and sour sauce. For mains we got Kung Pao Chicken which was pretty delicious but my star of the show was the Crispy Beef. It was crispy asf and skinny too I didn't know you could make beef skinny like that. Sauce was super tasty and thick. On the side was broccoli which was fine and eggplant which was fine on its own and good with the chili sauce. Split the Fortune Cookie Red Velvet Cake which okay I thought there would be more creativity with adding fortune cookies somewhere in the cake but it was just a cake with fortune cookies on top. The food is all over the place but the main theme is that everything is over-seasoned to please the crowd of people who all were gulping down colorful sugary cocktails with dinner while wearing athletic clothing. Peking duck (for 4-5) had great accompaniments (rare to actually get bao with it) but it was a lackluster portion of duck. Salt and pepper shrimp were offensively salted. Special "mignon" was great. The hand-pulled noodles *gasp* weren't hand pulled. "BBQ" chicken in the other noodles was very dry. Sea bass portion was very small. Scallion pancakes were good. Shrimp dumplings were the highlight.
