I love the fact that golf center Des Plaines exists for so many reasons. To start off, they have a two story driving range that is covered from the elements so you can use the facility year round and they have heat warmers above when temps are on the chiller side. The balls are set on automated tees and can be configured to specific heights via the control box. Everything is enabled by the range card that you load with funds at any of their machines. This card is like a reusable gift card that when placed on the box at each range stall, enables the automated tee to appear with a golf ball ready to hit. They have several real grass tee areas as well along the side of the automated ones. Inside the main building, they have a golf merchandise store as well as an area for golf instruction if you're looking to learn. There's also a restaurant on site. Lastly, the have a par 3, 9 hole course to practice at as well.

***Fall Hours have been updated to opening hours of 8am starting September 1, 2022*** I caught a red eye to Chicago for a golf tournament and was able to hit some balls at Golf Center Des Plaines early in the morning (830am). It was hot last week (9/2/2022) and unfortunately it was pretty hot and muggy that morning on the range. I got a range card for $15 and there were 3 levels of driving range stalls with a nice open range to hit into. The artificial flooring out in the range did reflect the sun into your face a bit and that made it warmer (so go later). The automatic range (using the range) card was cool. Automatic range ball dispenser and use the machine to raise or lower the rubber tees for your drives. Balls were pretty average, new and old range balls. Nice, clean facility. I did use their free practice putting greens which had 4 putting holes, real grass. The chipping area was $8 for the day (all day usage). There's also a small golf course at the facility. Plenty of parking, was a quick in and out for driving range and putting use. The facility was a quick 15 minute drive from my hotel in Rosemont (ORD).

A fun place to come and relax by going to the range. Service here is always fast and helpful. The cafe is pretty nice too.

Love that you buy a card that will last more than one trip. Always busy so finding a mat can be time consuming.

5 stars for Topgolf in Schaumburg!…read more This was my first time here, or at any Topgolf location for that matter. I had a great time here, you don't need to be Tiger Woods to have fun at Topgolf - all skill level players are welcome. You can pick multiple golfing games on screens in your section - you can do ones that only count if you hit the holes, ones that count your distance, ones that incorporate fun app games like Angry Birds and Sonic and more. Our server was very friendly/attentive at our section while golfing, she checked up on us a lot if we needed help or if we wanted to order anything. I didn't bother ordering food or drinks as it's all extremely expensive (eat/drink before you go). If you like mini golf, but regular golf isn't your thing, I think Topgolf is somewhere in the middle where you can have a great time at. Definitely check it out at least once, the earlier you go in the day, the less crowded it will be - especially early mornings.

We were told it would an additional 25 minutes so we sat in the bar, ate and after about 45 minutes went up to check and was told it would be another hour because we were moved down because we weren't platinum members... There was no communication, no text alert. We took our kids there for a birthday and ended up walking out to play mini golf. Our 7 year old was bummed out. I never write a review but was upset and how the situation was mishandled

You can also book a private room, as great place for an event. We didn't get any food, but definitely want to try next time, looks delicious. Now for the golf. The simulator is more high tech than I've seen. It automatically detects your terrain and changes the ground to fit it (fairway, rough, and bunker). I've never seen something like this before and it definitely enhances the experience. Another cool thing is during practice it shows you how you swung, by not only showing a model of your swing but a video recording playback. 10/10 recommend

This is the perfect place to have fun and enjoy indoor golf with no pressure. Sure there are pros in there practicing but the environment is so welcoming, we didn't feel intimidated. The employees are super kind and helpful. There are food and drink options to enjoy as you play. You get to rent by the hour and if you don't have your own clubs, you get to rent them as well. There are options to play games or simulate a real golf course. They also play music throughout which adds to the fun vibe. I really enjoyed the afternoon here and highly recommend coming by with a group of friends or family for some chill golf.

Outside t may have looked really awesome in the 80s but it looks like they've made no changes or updates since. There is one ramp from the one side of the building, but I'm not totally sure the parking on that side is related to the country club and it's not super close for folks who might need the accessibility accommodations to being with. I've only been to a country club once, so perhaps it's exactly what it's supposed to be, but this seemed to just be a golf course and then their clubhouse, which has a pro shop and I'm not sure if they have anything in there when there's not an event. That's where the event I attended was held. The sound is not good, and I'm not sure if that's due to the sound system or because we were a bit further in the back of the clubhouse on the other side of the bar, with the bar in the way. But we could barely hear a thing when they were using the mics, so it's something to keep in mind if you plan your event here.

Luckily it did not go through an open window where my husband sat. Left a deep ding on hood. Called course and was told that they were not responsible to call the cops. Rude. It is irresponsible for the golf course to be open if they do not protect the street from stray golf balls. Should not be open in winter. Be careful. The starter also seemed to be well aware of his attitude problem when we left the clubhouse completely baffled. Management- my recommendation is that you encourage your employees to treat guests with respect and kindness. Tom seems keen on judging players by their sex or anticipated skill level, coupled with a superiority complex, and it's a disgrace to the game of golf.
