Keeping pace the entire round and guess how many times the PA/Marshall came to talk to us? THREE TIMES! 1 time is plenty, 2 times is fine, 3 is ridiculous. And the Marshall that stopped us the third time literally wouldn't stop talking for like five minutes about how we need to pick it up and now I'm thinking to myself is if you want us to play faster maybe you should stop talking to us.. by that time we group behind us was not waiting, and they hadn't been waiting for the majority of the round except the first three holes when we were getting our momentum going for the start of the round. And this lady comes up to us on hole 14 and tries to tell us that we're 30 minutes behind haha, laughable. You were perfectly on pace and she said " well it says here on the sheet that technically you guys are 30 minutes behind", I just laughed and told her we're good and she wouldn't stop yapping. I almost called the golf shop right then to complain but I resisted.

There is a lot of trees for shade, cute little animals (bunnies, squirrels, geese, etc). The fairway, green quality is overall nicely maintained. They have carts, a driving range and a fairly nice club house as well. Overall definitely enjoy golfing here, the ground are pretty and the course a nice challenge!

While I was waiting to pay, the pro shop was getting lots of calls for tee times and they had to turn them down due being all booked up- makes sense. All of the employees I came in contact with were very nice and upbeat, even the guy that I told I was looking at his nuts when I was looking at the snacks they had for sale. Snacks are limited, chips, nuts, cookies and pre-made sandwiches but they have the Von Ebert Brewery on site where you can get food too. They are beer and claws in the pro shop to keep you loose during 18. IMO, the course was very well maintained. It was obviously pretty wet and muddy but it's March in Portland so to be expected wherever you go. The greens are well taken care of as well as the carts. I paid 46 for 18 with a cart. I really enjoy Glendoveer and will look forward to playing here soon!!

No pets allowed to keep the wildlife safe. They have a driving range, and even a course for disc golf too. They have quite a lot of tournaments here for everything- even HS cross country meets. The fitness trail is 2 miles and relatively well maintained; there are Porta-potties around which can be a life saver. Free to use the fitness trail. I've seen people be here very early in the am- open sunrise to sunset. There is also the restaurant Von Ebert on site- We haven't been in a few years but they have happy hour and daily specials. Pretty large parking lot and street parking too.

Amazing time!!! One of the best days ever! Truly made my Summer!…read more Pay to park all day. We got the adult unlimited rides wristbands which we found worth it. We loved the Cosmic Crash bumper cars, the Ferris Wheel which had an amazing view of the park, the Go Karts of course, the fast Rock & Roll ride with great music, and the Carousel. Our favorites were the rollercoaster which we did twice, I did the Zero Gravity ride twice which was fun and surprisingly relaxing too, and we loved the adrenaline rush of the AtmosFear ride. We chose the 180 option. Definitely will try the 360 option next time. Great they have those two choices. We stayed for hours. Clean park. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of food and beverage options available. Merch for sale. Kiddie rides, family rides, adult rides. Great for groups, family, kids, teens, adults, couples. Soooo fun! Such a relaxing time but a super fun day and a great date activity. Waits for rides were not long, people were respectful, and staff were efficient. Can't say anything about the food as we ate before coming to the park so we didn't try anything but next time I would love to give the classic elephant ears a try! My day spent here definitely felt like an escape. A place to leave your worries behind and just have a good time. Such a thrill! Highly recommend Oaks Amusement Park. I would love to come back, I had an amazing time!

The staff were nice, and the park honestly exceeded my expectations for a local amusement park. My only gripe was the wristband pricing. Kids under 48" still need their own wristband ($23.45-$26.45), and adults accompanying them need a companion wristband for the same price. The companion wristband only covers rides when you're riding with the child, so I thought that was a little steep, especially if both parents want to take turns. Still, seeing how much fun my toddler had made it worth it. Also, the carousel is free to ride! We also enjoyed the arcade. It didn't feel ridiculously hard to win prizes like some places. And our lunch and desserts were good, with pretty typical amusement park pricing. There are also plenty of bigger rides for thrill seekers. Overall, we had a great family day and I was pleasantly surprised by Oaks Park.

Judging from other reviews and what I witnessed, Kaleen might be a great 1-on-1 coach but her camps are not managed well. She looked angry/frustrated 90% of the time while her teaching assistants appear scared at her; perhaps it was due to dealing with such a large group of students. The younger and older kids are separated into different groups. Kaleen and another teaching pro (Paul?) concentrated on teaching the older students while they had teaching assistants (high-school minors) babysit the other half. I saw several young kids just standing around bouncing balls and doing nothing tennis-related for quite some time. I went up to talk to Kaleen and the teaching assistants to ask for feedback, and I did not get anything useful. Toward the end of this camp, my child doesn't even know how to hold a tennis racquet. I spent about an hour correcting things she learn and didn't learn, now she can properly hit a ball and have correct foot work. This proves that the teaching assistants didn't provide enough attention and inexperienced to teach others. I regret sending my kid there and I would never enroll at their summer camps again. Save your money for private lessons and don't expect your child to learn anything at their camps, especially if you think they will be part of the younger half of students enrolled. Advice for K-lean's Tennis: Try to focus on students of all ages in your camp -OR- train your teaching assistants to do a better job.

There were three employees in the building on a Saturday ( 3 persons when we walked in, then down to one other, then no one but us). We knew this because we became the only patrons in the shop. We spoke loud enough for them to her us, we asked to hit a few balls, we asked questions about what was available - we gave them so many opportunities to ignite and build a sale but instead, we walked in and found the front counter employee on their phone, then they were fixed on some game on tv. Even after we tried a club out they didn't even try to engage us. We left and went to Galaxy Golf with the perception of it being corporate. HUGELY mistaken. Lance gave us some time on the floor. Gently approached. Answered our questions and then got us on the range to test out our potential clubs. Lance gave me some education tips. Gave me space to think and I bought the full set and met the trainer for lessons. lance also recommended Stone Creek in Oregon City, OR to practice and take my dad. Literal high five to Golf Galaxy. You have my money and my loyalty. Really sorry ParWest Golf. We hoped it would work out.
