While I was waiting to pay, the pro shop was getting lots of calls for tee times and they had to turn them down due being all booked up- makes sense. All of the employees I came in contact with were very nice and upbeat, even the guy that I told I was looking at his nuts when I was looking at the snacks they had for sale. Snacks are limited, chips, nuts, cookies and pre-made sandwiches but they have the Von Ebert Brewery on site where you can get food too. They are beer and claws in the pro shop to keep you loose during 18. IMO, the course was very well maintained. It was obviously pretty wet and muddy but it's March in Portland so to be expected wherever you go. The greens are well taken care of as well as the carts. I paid 46 for 18 with a cart. I really enjoy Glendoveer and will look forward to playing here soon!!

The group in front of us was just standing there. Apparently there was a group in front of them still trying to get on the green. Then the group behind us showed up in number two tee box behind us. After 5 minutes they rolled to us to see what was happening. I told them a 6 hour round was about to happen. I called the pro-shop. The seemed concerned. We waited another 10 minutes. We called it and went back for a rain check. They were surprised to see us. We called. They had no clue what was happening. So what did they do? They charged us for two holes of golf and gave us the prorated amount left over.... Are you kidding me. What planet are these people from. WHO DOES THAT! Complete incompetence. Never again. Beautiful course run by a ship of fools.

We show up a little late due to missing an exit (by about 7 minutes) but the younger man up front doesn't give us any issues when checking in. We paid and realized it came out to a bit more than expected so I go back in and ask for a some clarification since I didn't get a receipt. The new person up front looks super annoyed that I asked. Turns out the rental clubs got charged at the 18 hole rate so I told him we only planned on 9 holes. He asks me where the cheaper price is and I show him their online website which clearly states $9 and before he even looks he said it was wrong and the prices never got updated. Annoying enough the prices said 2025 rates. Now I know sometimes mistakes happen so I don't really mind the difference in price BUT what I did mind was the attitude. He was sighing, rolling his eyes and his overall general tone was just rude. I never got a sorry or anything for the misunderstanding. As of Monday when I checked, they updated their pricing to reflect what I was charged. Anyway, now we head out to the first hole. It is probably about 10:35. We line up behind the first hole and there are two groups from earlier times still playing ahead of us so realistically none of this set anyone back, right? The two groups finish up and it's probably 10:45 by the time we're up to hit. Well, guess what! Some older guy asked us when our tee time was. We said 10:20 and he's mad. He tells us we're almost half an hour late even though we were waiting behind two groups who JUST finished. Says he doesn't even know if we can play because now we'll set EVERYONE back. Mind you the next group was not even behind us yet. He makes us wait while he scurries around to ask other staff he we can go I presume. After about 4-5 minutes he waves us off to start. We are relatively fast players. We had no issue getting to the second hole before the next group was ready to play. It really just ruined our whole experience. We didn't feel welcomed at all. My sister look so frustrated she could cry. We only ran into ONE nice staff member and he looked like an instructor. Spoke to us very nice and made sure we had all the clubs we paid for. Other players on the course were also nice luckily. This is all really unfortunate because the course was a fun and pretty well kept. I did also leave a similar review on their survey and was contacted by Joe. He was nice through email and offered to cover our next trip but I really do not think we will be back.

Buy tickets online and you get a discount or if you'd like me and are only going to ride a few things calculate how many tickets you need and buy them accordingly it will save you a bit! So for me it was all about Adrenaline Peak their Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter 320 model which has a clone in New Jersey on the boardwalk and is also a super fun ride so I couldn't pass up getting to ride the Oaks version and let me say this coaster was super fun very smooth and all thrill which is perfect and totally awesome for a small family park like this one! They have a cool free train ride that takes you around the park so definitely don't skip out on that! They also had a small county fair going on when I was here so that was a cool mix to add to an already super fun park! There really is something here for everyone so don't sell yourself short as this is a great local park that is definitely something I'd frequently visit if I lived here as I love places like this and there just aren't many out there like this anymore! Overall super fun local family owned amusement park that has thrills great and small along with a roller rink a mini golf course and lots of other fun activities so do yourself a favor and go enjoy this awesome park as it truly is a gem in the area!

The bumps in the back are a tried and true classic. The retro nostalgic charm of this place makes it a true gift, but the rink isn't just about the past, the rink also hosts a world class skate team. The snack bar is a your classic greasy rink snacks, so don't expect a three course meal, but if you want fries and a soda, they got you covered!

Judging from other reviews and what I witnessed, Kaleen might be a great 1-on-1 coach but her camps are not managed well. She looked angry/frustrated 90% of the time while her teaching assistants appear scared at her; perhaps it was due to dealing with such a large group of students. The younger and older kids are separated into different groups. Kaleen and another teaching pro (Paul?) concentrated on teaching the older students while they had teaching assistants (high-school minors) babysit the other half. I saw several young kids just standing around bouncing balls and doing nothing tennis-related for quite some time. I went up to talk to Kaleen and the teaching assistants to ask for feedback, and I did not get anything useful. Toward the end of this camp, my child doesn't even know how to hold a tennis racquet. I spent about an hour correcting things she learn and didn't learn, now she can properly hit a ball and have correct foot work. This proves that the teaching assistants didn't provide enough attention and inexperienced to teach others. I regret sending my kid there and I would never enroll at their summer camps again. Save your money for private lessons and don't expect your child to learn anything at their camps, especially if you think they will be part of the younger half of students enrolled. Advice for K-lean's Tennis: Try to focus on students of all ages in your camp -OR- train your teaching assistants to do a better job.
